Iza Calzado, Diana Zubiri, Marian Rivera, Kapuso Female Celebrities, GMA 7 Kapuso Stars, GMA Pinoy TV,

Eula Caballero, Jasmine Curtis-Smith
Jasmine and Eula love working with David
Working with ‘American Idol’ finalist David Archuleta is a dream come true for Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Eula Caballero, whom the American singer-songwriter impressed with his kindness and professionalism.
The three artists topbill TV5’s upcoming mini-series “Nandito Ako.”
David plays Josh Bradley, a Filipino-American singer who returns to the Philippines, while Eula and Jasmine portray his love interests.
Eula, winner of TV5’s talent search “Star Factor,” shared that she has been long waiting for her big break.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako kasi alam naman po ng lahat na isa sa mga laging tinatanong sa akin is, ‘Hindi ka ba naiinip kasi hindi ka pa nabibigyan ng break?’ Ito na po’yung inaantay ko,” Eula said at the press conference of “Nandito Ako” at the Meralco compound on Saturday, Feb. 4.
While it took her a long time to get her first lead role, Eula understands that she still had to grow and learn more.
“I’m very happy naman na pina-grow muna ako ng TV5 bago nila binigay sa akin ito. Part ito ng pag-aalaga sa akin bago ko ito makuha, and now si David Archuleta pa ang makakatrabaho namin,” she said.
Jasmine echoed the same sentiment and said that working with David at the start of her career is very “overwhelming.”
“Everyday gumigising ako at sinasabi na ‘Totoo ba ito? Hindi ba ito dream?’ Kasi never kong na-imagine na mangyayari ito sa akin especially na kaka-start ko lang sa career ko,” Jasmine said.
Even if David is known more as a singer and acting is a totally new experience for him, he has managed to impress his co-actors with his attitude.
Easy to work with
“Working with David is such a pleasure. He is very easy to work with, very willing to listen and to grow and to adjust to whatever needs to be done,” Jasmine said.
Eula, on the other hand, felt like she was in a TV musical as David and the cast were always singing on the set during their free time.
“Pag feeling niya na parang hindi niya naibigay ng buong-buo sa eksena, sya pa ang magri-request na mag-take pa. Gusto niya best lagi ang eksena. Lagi rin may kantahan sa set. ‘Yung mga pagkanta niya yung isa sa mga mami-miss namin sa set,” Eula said.
She added that she taught David some Filipino words and let him try local cuisine during the three weeks they have been working together. She added that David appreciates everything she is doing for him.
“Nakakatuwa na kapag may tinuro ka na kahit sobrang babaw, nakakatuwa yung reaction nya. So alam mo na napasaya mo siya. Ganun siya, pag may ginawa ka sa kanya, ipapafeel niya sa ‘yo na ‘You made me happy and thank you for that,’” Eula recalls.
Just friends
Meanwhile, Jasmine denied rumors that David is courting her since she personally invited him to watch the concert of her older sister Anne Curtis. David watched the show with TV5 bosses.
“Wala pong something, we’re just really friends. Siyempre, we wanted him to have fun and hindi lang puro work. So, I invited him. He said yes, I hope naman he enjoyed,” Jasmine clarified.
She and Eula have already gotten close to David even if they spent only three weeks together on the set. Both agree that they will miss David when he returns to the US.
“One thing I won’t forget about David is everything. Lahat kami na-enjoy yung side niya, yung pagka-jolly niya. As a person, as a friend and as a co-actor, we won’t forget him,” Jasmine said.
“Nandito Ako,” directed by Mac Alejandre, also stars Gelli de Belen, Aiko Melendez, G Tongi, Mon Confiado, Ana Feleo, Joseph Bitangcol and Alwyn Uytingco. It premieres Feb. 20 on TV5 after “Wil Time Big Time.”

Valerie Concepcion
Valerie Concepcion Playboy Magazine Cover Elevates Her to 'Hot Momma' Status
Kapamilya actress-host Valerie Concepcion is the cover girl of the January-February 2012 issue of Playboy Philippines Magazine.
Although this is not Valerie's first time to do a sexy pictorial for a men’s magazine, Valerie admitted that her Playboy photo was her most daring cover shoot so far.
“So far eto yung pinaka-daring na ginawa ko in a men’s magazine na pag-pose talaga. Kung nakabili kayo ng men’s magazine na pinag-pose-an ko before [FHM and Maxim], ito yung pinaka-daring na makikita nila na ginawa ko. I’m hoping na magustuhan nila. Ito talaga yung pinaka-daring of all,” Valerie said.
Valerie also said that she is lucky because despite her having a 6-year-old daughter, she is still being considered as object of men's desire.
“Basta one thing that I’m very proud of is even if I have a daughter and I am a mom, I still feel like parang hindi ko pinapabayaan yung sarili ko and yun nga, yung lagi nilang sinasabi na ang description sa akin is ‘hot momma’ ‘di ba? So I guess yun yung isa sa mga masasabi kong edge ko na even if I’m already a mom, I’m a hot mom. ” she joked.

Shamcey Supsup
Shamcey ready to pass on her crown
Now that the search for this year’s Binibining Pilipinas has started, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011 and Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup is ready and excited to pass on her crown to the future title holder.
“I’m very ready. For me, it’s not naman giving up your crown, but passing it on. I’m also excited for the winners, kung ano ang magiging journey nila. It’s time for other girls to have their crown,” Shamcey told the press at the launch of this year’s Bb. Pilipinas search held at Gateway Suites last Thursday, Feb. 2.
Same pressure
Shamcey shared that she also experienced the same pressure as her predecessor Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj, who ranked fourth in the 2010 Miss Universe.
“Last year, it was also the same thing for me. Venus ranked fourth place. Sa akin, nung time na yun, I don’t think it’s pressure. It’s inspiration,” she said.
What’s her advice to this year’s candidates?
Shamcey replied that they should be themselves and work hard, even as there is really “no formula in winning.”
No formula
“Laging sinasabi sa akin ni Venus, sasabihin ko rin sa mga ibang candidates na my experience might not be the same as theirs. There’s no formula on how to win. It’s up to yourself and be proud of yourself. Wala talagang formula,” she said.
Shamcey added: “It’s still the girls’ effort. I also believe in destiny na if it’s for you, it’s for you. But, you also have to be prepared, hard work.”
Is she now willing to enter showbiz?
“Depende po kung may offers,” Shamcey replied.
She shared that she’s more open to shows since she more comfortable talking rather than acting on TV in the movies.
“Siguro, when it comes to talking and expressing myself, pwede kong pasukan. Pero when it comes to acting, I’m not really into it,” she said.
Target: Hosting
Shamcey also revealed that Kris Aquino advised her to try hosting. The magna cum laude graduate of architecture from the University of the Philippines and a board topnotcher said that she is interested to do a show about homes and architectural designs.
“Ms. Kris Aquino told me na you need to have passion if you’re an actress. Kung wala sa loob mo, mahihirapan ka. Kase you have to be dedicated sa job mo. So sabi nya, why not try hosting daw,” Shamcey revealed.
Application forms to the Bb. Pilipinas may be downloaded from the pageant’s official website, www.bbpilipinas.com.
Also present at the launch were Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BCPI) chair Stella Marquez Araneta and other Bb. Pilipinas title holders Dianne Necio (Bb. Pilipinas-International) and Isabella Manjon (Bb. Pilipinas Tourism Queen International).

Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Q&A - Thought You Know Anything About Her Now? Think Again
Anne Curtis who had a very successful sold-out "Annebisyosa" concert at the Araneta Coliseum on January 28, revealed some of too personal information about her she never thought she would dare sharing - from taking care of her voice, her face and body, her shower routine and making a guy fall for her.
Read below:
Q: What special preparations did you do for your concert?
Anne Curtis: A lot of brainstorming, dance rehearsals and proper breathing methods.
Q: It’s your first major concert. Aren’t you scared?
Anne: I’m terrified and nervous but super excited at the same time!
Q: Have you had any voice training?
Anne: It will be a fun show. I will just be myself. I will have fun and hopefully everyone will have fun, too. I’m not a serious singer and I don’t think people expect me to suddenly, magically transform into one in this concert. But I assure everyone of a great time.
Not really for voice because there’s no hope there but proper berthing methods so I don’t run out of breath easily while singing and dancing.”
Q: How do you take care of your voice (no cold drinks, etc.)?
Anne: I eat and drink what I like as I always have. It really doesn’t make a difference for me. Hahahaha! My voice is what it is.
Q: What kind of diet do you follow? Mention food that you avoid and food that you always crave for?
Anne: Right now, I’m on a no-carbs diet. MUST FIT INTO MY OUTFITS for the concert! I’m always craving for anything, especially potato. Chips, baked potatoes, French fries and pasta!
Q: Favorite snack?
Anne: Fruits!
Q: How much water do you take per day?
Anne: This is something I have to do more of. It’s very important to hydrate yourself especially in a country that’s always humid.
Q: What workout do you do?
Anne: Right now, because of time constraint I’ve just been doing my own training at my gym. But before the concert came up, I had time to do core kinesis and plyometrics.
Q: What part of your body needs improvement?
Anne: I would like my arms to be a bit more toned and have legs like those of Madonna’s! She’s crazy-toned!
Q: What part of your body is most vulnerable?
Anne: My tummy! I love to eat so I always have to make sure I don’t go overboard. My cheat day is Sunday.
Q: What part of your body is your favorite?
Anne: My lips.
Q: What part of a guy’s body do you notice first?
Anne: His eyes and nose. So in general his face.
Q: What else about a guy turns you on?
Anne: If he’s funny, intelligent and can cook!
Q: And what’s in a guy that turns you off?
Anne: If he is conceited, arrogant and has dirty nails.
Q: How much sleep do you get per night?
Anne: If I’m lucky, a maximum of six hours and a minimum of four.
Q: Favorite sleepwear?
Anne: Big T-shirt and undies, or pretty nightgown.
Q: How many pillows do you sleep with?
Anne: Two.
Q: Do you snore?
Anne: Hmmm…not that I know of.
Q: Do you talk in your sleep?
Anne: I have caught myself waking up talking or crying.
Q: Do you sleepwalk?
Anne: No.
Q: What’s the last thing that you do before you go to sleep?
Anne: Tweet or read a book and then I pray.
Q: What’s the first thing that you do when you wake up?
Anne: Go back to sleep for another five minutes.
Q: How do you cope with stress?
Anne: I become very quiet.
Q: Favorite city, favorite hideaway?
Anne: Anywhere really, as long as I’m with the people I love.
Q: How often do you see your doctor, dermatologist and dentist?
Anne: When I have the time to.
Q: How’s your love life (with boyfriend Erwan Heussaff)?
Anne: Happy as can be.
Q: How long does it take you to fix yourself (from taking a shower to dressing up)?
Anne: It depends on where I’m going, but usually around 30 to 40 minutes.
Q: Name three men that you find sexy.
Anne: Ryan Gosling, James Franco and Christiano Ronaldo.
Q: And three women that you find as sexy as you are.
Anne: The women who I want to be as sexy as are Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba and all the Victoria’s Secret models.
Q: Using only body language, how would you make a guy know that you admire him?
Anne: A lot of prolonged stares and smiling.
