KISS&CRY ex-member So Yumi to return as a solo
On April 17th, DO entertainment revealed to debut So Yumi as a solo artist and will follow the music genre of trot.
So Yumi is ex-member of powerful vocal girl group KISS&CRY. After separating, each member went to different companies to pursue solo career.
The company explained that trot music is still favored by many people, and the modern trot is a new trend now, like Hong Jin Young’s style.

Nagkaroon umano ng organ failure ang kanyang tiyuhin na siyang dahilan ng kanyang pagkamatay.
Madali namang nakiramay ang aktres, scriptwriter at direktor na si Bibeth Orteza. Sa kanyang Facebook page, nagpahayag ito ng: “Rest in peace, Ricardo Reyes, aka Ritchie D’Horsie. Godspeed.”

Marian Rivera, who is 2 months pregnant, decided to set aside her showbiz commitments including her upcoming Kapuso primetime series "The Rich Man’s Daughter" to ensure safety of her baby with husband Dingdong Dantes.

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has withdrawn from her upcoming program The Rich Man’s Daughter and her GMA Pinoy TV guestings abroad due to her delicate condition. GMA Network fully supports Marian’s decision and strongly believes that Marian and her baby’s safety is first and foremost. We would like to assure her supporters that Marian will still be seen in various shows in the Kapuso Network. We pray for a healthy and happy pregnancy for our dear Marian."

Former Alamid vocalist Gary Ignacio passed away at exactly 2:50PM on Friday afternoon, April 17, due to multiple organ failure and complications with bone cancer. He was 49 years old.
Gary is the voice behind the hit song "Your Love".
His remains lies in state at the Sto. Rosario Village Chapel in Barangay Baritan, Malabon.

Inah Estrada, daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada, decided to follow the footsteps of her parents and so she left her profession as a celebrity make-up artist to try showbiz.

Enchong Dee stars in "Wasapanataym Presents My Kung Fu Chinito"
An upcoming "Wansapanataym" special was presented by Dreamscape Entertainment Television on Friday.
Titled "My Kung Fu Chinito," it will star Enchong Dee, Sofia Andres, David Chua, Atoy Co, and Richard Yap.
It can be noticed that among the lead cast, Sofia is the only one who doesn't look Chinese.
"Wansapanataym Presents My Kung Fu Chinito" will be directed by Erick Salud.

Annabelle Rama tweets about a "certified sugar mommy"
Annabelle Rama's series of tweets on Friday became a hot topic as she talked about someone who is a "certified sugar mommy."
Not naming the woman she was referring to, Annabelle posted about it like she knows the person really well.
According to the controversial talent manager, the woman she's talking about is "super" intelligent but fails when it comes to choosing the right man.
"Super talino sa lahat ng bagay. Hardworking at nag-aral sa ilang expensive schools here and abroad… Pero pagdating sa pagpili ng lalaki, super tanga at bobita, mahilig sa mga lalaking palamunin, "escort" ng mga sosyal na bading…" part of her posts read.
She also said that it's more important for this woman to spend for her man than to spend for her kids.
"Mas important gastusan ang lalaki kesa mga anak. Laging nasa computer, naghahanap kung saan may airline promo papuntang NYC, LA & Europe. 'Di ba bonggang-bonggang "Certified Sugar Mommy"… 'Pag may mag-react "Guilty"…" she further wrote.
She ended her series of tweets by calling the woman's friends as BI (bad influence).
"Mga kaibigan puro B.I. Kung mahal ka ng mga kaibigan mo, hindi ka dapat ipakilala sa mga ganoong klaseng lalaki... mga kunsentidor..." she posted.
It can be recalled that Annabelle is against her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez's new French boyfriend, Jordan Mouyal, that she even called him a PG (patay-gutom).
Could Annabelle be referring to Ruffa as the "certified sugar mommy?"
Meanwhile, a few hours after Annabelle posted the series of tweets, Ruffa tweeted:
