‘Patrol ng Pilipino’ Shows How Phenomenal Love Teams are Formed

What makes a love team in Philippine show business successful? Is there a formula to winning the hearts of Filipino fans?

Tomorrow (February 28), ABS-CBN reporter Jeff Canoy will tackle the factors in forming popular showbiz tandems in “Patrol ng Pilipino” and how their on-screen chemistry is measured to guarantee their appeal to fans.

Meet the big bosses who determine the romantic team-ups, as well as the fans who would go to great lengths to defend their idols.

Jeff will report on today’s most phenomenal on-screen twosomes, including the KimXi tandem of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, the popular pair-up of John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin in the box-office hit “Unofficially Yours,” and the solid love team of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta which made a comeback in “Walang Hanggan,”

Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police recorded a high 18,000 crime incidence in the city since the start of the year and warned that more and more crimes happen deep into the night. Join Jacque Mabat as she roams and documents crimes in the metro at night and meet the different names and faces involved in them, including the police, SOCO, victims, suspects, the victims’ families, and bystanders.

Know the stories behind the news tomorrow (February 28) in “Patrol ng Pilipino” after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN or watch it earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable Channel 26), 9:15 p.m.
