Barbie Forteza On The Real Score Between Her & Jak Roberto, Reveals Her Plans For Her 20th Birthday On July 31

BARBIE FORTEZA looks so pretty and fashionable in the very feminine cocktail dress she wore at the Yes Magazine Most Beautiful Stars affair. She's in the category Network Bets and she surely deserves it as she's one young actress who can do both drama (as seen in her acclaimed performances in the films "Mariquina" and "Tuos") and comedy (seen on TV in "Sunday PinaSaya" and "Meant to Be") with equal ease and effectivity. So what's the first thing she did after the six-month run of "Meant to Be" ended?

"Bumawi muna ko ng tulog for three days then I went back to the gym after resting," she says.
She's turning 20 on July 31. What's her birthday plan? "I'm giving myself a trip the the U.S. to visit my sister in Chicago. I also want to go to New York kasi may eclipse daw roon on August 24. Plano ko rin to visit their planetariums as I'm fascinated by the heavens, stars and planets."

What's her next assignment on GMA-7? "Wala pang sinasabi but I'm praying may follow up na sana agad kasi may binabayaran akong bahay, e. Meron din akong naka-schedule na gagawing movie sa Regal with Ken Chan, directed by Joel Lamangan. Malapit na raw kaming mag-shoot. Sana nga matuloy na while I'm not yet busy with a new TV show."

Among her four leading men in "Meant to Be", it's said she's now closest to Jak Roberto who is seriously wooing her. How true? "Andiyan naman siya, you ask him."

Is it true they go out regularly? "Secret. Ayoko munang magsalita kasi, the last time, naging open ako (about Kiko Estrada, her first BF), at maraming nakialam kaya naging complicated at gumugulo. So this time, quiet na lang."

How come her mom doesn't approve of Ken Chan? "Hindi naman. They're friends naman, e. Kaya lang, yung fans ni Ken, bina-bash siya so she just activated her Instagram account. Nami-miss ko ang company nilang apat kasi halos araw-araw kaming magkasama sa set doing 'Meant to Be' for six months. Kaya nakakapanibago. As of now, wala si Addy Raj kasi umuwi sa parents niya sa India. Baka pagbalik niya, mag-reunion kami along with our director, L.A. Madridejos."
