Chynna Ortaleza and Kean Cipriano tie the knot in gothic-inspired church wedding

Kapuso actress Chynna Ortaleza and Calla Lily frontman Kean Cipriano exchanged vows for the second time through a church wedding on Tuesday, November 7.

The wedding was witnessed by their friends and familiies including Glaiza De Castro, Isabel Oli and John Prats, LJ Reyes, Ryza Cenon, among others. The couple had only four pairs of major sponsors including GMAAC Senior Assistant Vice President Gigi Santiago.

The wedding was an unconventional one where all the guests and entourage are all dressed in back. Chynna, the bride herself, was clad in a beautiful grey wedding dress with intricate details holding a black calla lily bouquet.

The reception was held in Pio's Kitchen.

Chynna and Kean were first married in a civil ceremony on Janaury 1, 2016. They became parents to baby Stellar in April 2016.

Ken Chan Happy That He Finally Got Out Of The Shadow Of 'Destiny Rose' & Happy With The Positive Feedback For His First Mainstream Film, 'This Time I'll Be Sweeter'

KEN CHAN is elated that, finally, he has come out of the shadow of "Destiny Rose", the hit GMA drama that ran for several months where he played the role of a transgender very convincingly. "For a while, natakot talaga akong baka yun na lang ang maalala sa akin ng mga tao kasi even after the show, people call me Destiny Rose when they see me in public," he says. "Pero mabuti na lang na dumating nga ang 'Meant to Be', where I played Yuan Lee, at ngayon naman, heto may mainstream movie na ako with Barbie Forteza, 'This Time I'll Be Sweeter', at dito na ngayon naka-focus ang mga tao. Sa wakas, nabura na rin sa isip nilang naging babae ako noong araw."

He's very thankful to Regal Entertainment and to Direk Joel Lamangan for "This Time I'll Be Sweeter" that opens in theatres this Wednesday. "Before, indie film lang ang nagawa ko kaya first I'm so happy to star in my first mainstream film na tiyak na magugustuhan ng lahat ng mahilig sa romantic films. When it was premiered at SM Megamall, very positive ang response ng mga tao at feel good romance daw talaga ito."



In the story, he plays Tristan, a flippant guy who broke the heart of Barbie as Erica, not once but twice. Won't he appear antipatiko in the eyes of the viewers for doing this? "Naisip ko rin yun, baka maging kontrabida ang dating ko, pero hindi naman. Kasi, the way the script is written, you'd understand Tristan na hindi naman siya naiiba sa ibang guys na hindi agad makapag-decide about their lovelife. Eventually, magsisisi naman siya and he'll do everything to win back Barbie's heart for the third time. Kaya nga nangako siya, as can be seen in the movie's title, na 'This Time I'll Be Sweeter'."

Ken is a recording artist who has an album with PolyEast Records so he himself recorded the theme song of 'This Time I'll Be Sweeter', which was earlier made popular by Angela Bofill.

GMA Network Lines Up Their New Shows As 2017 Ends & As 2018 Starts: 'Santa-Santita', 'Sherlock', 'Hindi Kita Kayang Iwanan', 'The One That Got Away'

GMA NETWORK has already laid out their new programming plans from the end of 2017 and as they welcome 2018. "Santa Santita" will replace "Alyas Robin Hood" by the last week of November.

Several characters in "Alyas Robin Hood" have already been shown dying, including Solenn Heussaff (she has to leave for New Zealand to attend the wedding of her brother Erwan to Anne Curtis), Dave Bornea and Lindsay de Vera. Next will be Ruru Madrid who will have to concentrate on the taping of his own new launching show. Then the villains Edu Manzano, Jay Manalo and Pythos Ramirez will later get the comeuppance that they deserve from Dingdong Dantes who they tortured a lot.

In January 2018, several new shows will be introduced. First is "Sherlock", an action-drama that will replace "Super Ma'am". This features Ruru Madrid in his first starring role as a blind young detective who is assisted in solving the most difficult crimes by a smart wonder dog.

"Hindi Kita Kayang Iwanan" will replace the Afternoon Prime drama, "Impostora", starring Yasmien

Kurdi and Mike Tan. "The One that Got Away (TOTGA)" will replace "My Korean Jagiya" on primetime, starring Dennis Trillo, Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos, Max Collins and former Kapamilya actor Jason Abalos in his first show on GMA-7 after he jumped ober da bakod.

Alden Richards will also have his own drama show, minus regular ka-love team Maine Mendoza, set during the war in Marawi, to be produced by GMA News and Public Affairs.

Kris Aquino has a funny reaction over a Starbucks meme; invites author for a coffee date

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino had a super relate reaction to a meme which was sent to her by a friend this morning.

The meme which warns someone to be cautious from saying "Yes" to a Starbucks coffee invitation as there could other reasons behind it made Kris giggle non-stop

"A friend sent this to me & i couldn't stop giggling... ? super relate because minsan umasa rin ako ng dahil sa Starbucks invitation..."

Learning her lesson, Kris ended up bragging coffee machines she had bought to avoid falling for the wrong motives over a Starbucks coffee invite.

"But NATUTO NA KO ng bonggang bongga- that's why i've bought 3 Nespresso machines, 2 for different areas of our home, 1 binabaon for work- and all the capsules of my favorites Dulsao, Bukeela, Linizio, and Vanilio... plus Volluto Decaffeinato... Starbucks- i just ask Jack or Jane to please buy me Chai Tea Latte, soy, no foam... but my coffee, it's personal... at home akong nagtitimpla w/ no expectations except just to enjoy the moment. #truth"

Kris added that she needs not to be lectured about unfaithful boyfriends as according to her, she has passed the course with flying colors.

"(P.S. Kaya please wag nang mag lecture about an "unfaithful boyfriend?" Honestly, summa cum laude na po ako sa kurso ng How To Get Over an EX."

To end her post, Kris invited the meme author to a Nespresso.

Jolina Magdangal sports new hairstyle; prepares for second pregnancy?

Magandang Buhay host Jolina Magdangal has cut her hair short. In her latest Instagram post on Monday night, momshie Jolina wrote a new chapter deserves a new look.

"New chapter deserves a new look. Thank you so much @iamellypastor for cutting my hair, i am proud to be your very first client in @studiofixbyalexcarbonell. Masasabi kong alaga ka nga ni Alex."

So what could be the new chapter in her life is she referring to?

Jolina's co-host Karla Estrada posted on her Instagram account a teaser of their morning show that there's a new that will soon be joining them daily. Karla wrote in the caption, "surprise!!!"

Netizens claimed Jolina is pregnant with her second baby.  Well, we'll soon find out tomorrow if she really is.

Jolina is happily married to Rivermaya band member Mark Escueta. Her first-born Pele is turning 4 years old on February next year.
