TJ TRINIDAD won best supporting actor in the last Cinemalaya’s Director Showcase category for his creditable portrayal of a much harassed groom in "Sana Dati", whose bride (Lovi Poe) is dilly-dallying with her decision to walk down the aisle and needlessly delays their wedding.
Personally, we feel he should have been nominated as best actor as he’s playing a lead role, not just a supporting one. He’s there from beginning to end and has more scenes than the two other actors in the movie, Benjamin Alves and Paulo Avelino. And he really gets our sympathy as his character seems sensible enough and doesn’t deserve an indecisive bride who can’t seem to let go of the past and move on.
In the end, TJ did not forsake Lovi even if she continued to pine for a lost love. The final scene at the cemetery where Lovi visited the grave of her dead past boyfriend is where TJ finally shows how much he truly loves and accepts her, warts and all. His love for her is unconditional and we’re glad that before the film is finally over, Lovi finally wakes up and leaves the shoes symbolizing her deceased lover at the cemetery.
You have to see the movie for yourself, which opens this Wednesday in theatres nationwide, to see what a sacrificing and selfless TJ really is in “Sana Dati”. But how come TJ was absent at the Cinemalaya Awards night and he wasn’t able to get his trophy in person?
“I was busy then at home,” he says. “Nag-off yung yaya ng baby namin and my wife was also busy, so ako ang personal na nag-alaga sa aming baby boy. I was really surprised that I won. Hindi ko ine-expect, but I really want to thank all the jurors for the honor. It’s my first acting award kaya, siempre, this is very important for me.”
On TV, TJ will soon be seen again in GMA-7’s new sci-fi thriller, “Genesis”, that will replace “My Husband’s Lover”. He joins the powerhouse case headed by Dingdong Dantes, Lorna Tolentino, Rhian Ramos and Lauren Young.

TJ Trinidad Surprised That He Won Cinemalaya Best Supporting Actor For 'Sana Dati'
There Are So Many Good Roles For Actresses This Year But Few For Actors
IT’D BE HARD to choose who’d be the best actress this year as we have so many strong and superb performances among our actresses. Those who shone include Cherie Gil in “Sonata”, Vilma Santos in “Ekstra”, Nora Aunor in “Kuwento ni Mabuti” (who was bested as best actress by neophyte child star Teri Malvar of “Huling Cha Cha ni Anita” at the CineFilipino Filmfest), Lorna Tolentino in “Burgos”, Rustica Carpio in “Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap”, Lovi Poe in “Sana Dati”, Irma Adlawan in “Transit” and “Bamboo Flowers” and Eugene Domingo in a straight drama role in the forthcoming “Mga Kuwentong Barbero”.
But if you’d notice, except for Joel Torre in “On the Job”, there are not really that strong male performances so far. Local actors obviously are a much neglected lot as filmmakers don’t seem to have truly good and challenging roles for them, which is understandable why the jurors in the recent Cinemalaya filmfest didn’t choose any best actor in the Directors Showcase category. In the New Wave Category, the best actor winner is Mimi Juareza, a transgender, and we’re sure she’ll be nominated anew in next year’s award derbies.
The only other performances we can think of that are worth mentioning are those of Alex Medina as the internet scammer who falls in love with his target victim in “Babagwa”, Arnold Reyes as the dying rebel who bonds with his long lost daughter for the last time in “Tag-araw ni Twinkle”, Jake Cuenca as the gay rebel hopelessly in love with a comrade in “Lihis” and Allen Dizon as the psychotic constabulary captain in “Lauriana”.
And mind you, the year is not yet over. Forthcoming films in the last three months of the year might yet spring more surprises. This is indeed a year of good harvest for local films. Even in the best picture category, there are so many that are truly outstanding.

Charice "Chapter 10" Marks the New Stage of Her Love, Life, Career
International singing sensation Charice is loud and proud to share with the world her newest album under Star Records titled "Chapter 10."
According to Charice, her 'coming out' also signaled the start of her musical liberation.
"When I was growing up I was 'accompanied' in my sleep up to my waking hour by Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Regine Velasquez and Lea Salonga," she said. "Now, with the turn of events in my life, I listen more and more to Pink, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, among others."
"My new CD marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life. It's about being free, celebrating my own identity without inhibitions, and becoming strong despite my own limitations," the world-class singer said. "It's my take on becoming true to myself to be able to deliver a more honest and heartfelt music to the people who believe in me and my craft. Plus I owe it to God who also loves lesbians like me."
"I believe that 'Chapter 10' is a proof that talent goes beyond gender orientation. People love me for my voice. So, with a humble heart, I wish to give them every reason to love me even more with this album," said Charice about her 10-track album. "I gave my best to this. I even spent sleepless nights at the studio perfecting some songs. This is the first album I will release after coming out. So I really chose to treat the listeners to something that is really a work of art."
When asked what is so special about the number 10, Charice shared, “Aside from the fact that the album contains 10 songs, ten is close to my heart as it is the birthday of my mom and myself, and my anniversary with Alyssa (Quijano)."
Featured in "Chapter 10" are nine uniquely creative revivals of ‘Titanium’, ‘How Could an Angel Break My Heart’, ‘Anything For You’, ‘Everything I Do, I Do It For You’, ‘Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough’, ‘Do You Know Where You’re Going To?’, ‘The One That Got Away’, ‘Makita Kang Muli’ and ‘Yakap;’ and one original composition co-written by Charice titled “Unexpected Love,” which she dedicates to her girlfriend.

Week after week, we are surprised by news about photo and video scandals of our most favorite celebrities. Some are true and some are not. The latest to join the list of ‘scandalous artists’ are ex-couple Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz who, according to rumors have a sex video scandal.
There’s no proof about the said scandal as of yet. But, if the rumor is true, the video will definitely fall to the hand of the public anytime soon.
Much as we don’t want another scandal yet, especially these days that the country faces a lot of issues, political and natural calamities alike, we can do nothing but expect the people to care for scandals like this spark interest from the public.
It can be recalled that Cruz and Reyes already separated ways months ago, which they said, was a mutual decision. Just a few weeks ago, Reyes confirmed her relationship with their common friend, Derek Ramsay.

George Clooney Learns to Space-Walk in “Gravity”
George Clooney Learns to Space-Walk in “Gravity”
“I grew up with the space race; I am a child of that era,” says George Clooney, who stars with Sandra Bullock in Warner Bros.’ new, deep space thriller “Gravity.” “I have always loved the idea of space exploration and am in awe of the people who do it. They really are the last of the great pioneers.”
In “Gravity,” Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney) in command. But on a seemingly routine mission, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalski completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
“The thing about adversities is that they take us out of our comfort zone,” explains director Alfonso Cuarón. “In order to do that with Ryan, we needed her to be new to spaceflight. But for the rest to make sense, we also needed a mentor figure—someone who could guide her through the process and help her figure things out.”
That mentor is Matt Kowalski, portrayed by Clooney, who says he had a list of reasons for wanting to do the film, starting with the script. “I loved the screenplay, which is the first reason you ever want to make a film if you’re an actor. And I liked the character a lot; I thought he would be fun to play.”
Clooney continues that “Gravity” also presented the chance to team with two people he admires greatly. “Sandy and I have been good friends for very long time, but we never found the right vehicle for us to do something together. I have always had tremendous respect for her, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner to act with. And I think Alfonso Cuarón is one of the most interesting and talented directors we have. I honestly thought ‘Children of Men’ was a masterpiece, and have wanted to work with him. So everything about this seemed like a great opportunity to me, and I was proud to be a part of it.”
Cuarón describes Clooney’s character as “the counterpart to Ryan. Matt is very much at ease in that environment; he is as expansive as Ryan is insulated. If you were going into space, Matt is the guy you would want with you.”
Those on the set felt the same way about the man. “George is a life force,” states Bullock. “In many respects, he does parallel his character because Matt is the one who breathes life into every single moment; he loves nothing more than seeing the world from the vantage point of space. But what’s so electric about George isn’t just his face, it’s his voice. He has that voice that makes you feel like he’s a friend; he’s someone who has been there and can make you believe everything is going to be okay. It’s like that for Ryan with Matt. And that’s how George is to work with…until he starts causing trouble and then you have to watch your back every minute,” she teases.
Clooney’s practical jokes have, in fact, become the stuff of Hollywood legend, but the parameters established by the production’s technology forced something of a moratorium. “It required a certain discipline because of all the elements that were already in place,” the actor acknowledges. “So I just put myself in the hands of the smartest guys in the room, beginning with Alfonso. But working with Sandy made it fun, so there was truly a lot of laughing.”
Opening across the Philippines in October 3 in IMAX 3D, Digital 3D, 2D and regular theatres, “Gravity” is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company.
ABS-CBN Journalists Nina Corpuz, Ryan Chua and Jeff Canoy Receive International Fellowships and Scholarships
ABS-CBN Journalists Nina Corpuz, Ryan Chua and Jeff Canoy Receive International Fellowships and Scholarships
ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs journalists have been awarded prestigious international journalism fellowships and scholarship to gain training, knowledge, skills, and exposure to today’s global news media landscape.
Health beat reporter and DZMM’s “Magandang Gabi Dok” anchor Nina Corpuz made it as the only Southeast Asian journalist chosen to participate in the United Nations Foundation’s 2013 Global Issues Press Fellowship program in New York City, which will expose her to the latest information on pressing global issues.
The press fellowship, which takes place during this year’s UN General Assembly, will also provide participants exclusive first-person access to the world’s top experts, policymakers, and leaders such as Al Gore and will.i.am.
“I hope to use this opportunity to share our Philippine experience and bring to the international stage our concerns and efforts in health care. I also look forward to comparing notes with my fellow health journalists from around the world to give me a better understanding of global health issues and how it affects us Filipinos,” said Corpuz.
ABS-CBN’s Senate beat reporter Ryan Chua, meanwhile, was awarded the prestigious Chevening scholarship, making him the only media practitioner among this year’s batch of eleven scholars. Chua is currently taking his Master’s degree in International Journalism at the City University London.
Chua said the one-year scholarship will train him to be a global journalist with an international perspective, “able to report global issues authoritatively and help a local audience appreciate their importance.”
“I plan to do this by regularly pitching and pursuing stories that matter to the Philippines and the rest of the world,” said Chua.
Jeff Canoy, who reports on defense and disasters for ABS-CBN, is currently attending Malaysian Press Institute’s International Journalism Fellowship in Kuala Lumpur to specialize in multimedia journalism. The fellowship, Canoy shared, trains participants to become a one-man team during coverage and deliver news on different media platforms.
“The fellowship is all about the future — where journalism is heading — one-man teams covering the news equipped with tech-savvy skills and strong sense of ethics. It’s been daunting and a lot of hard work but the fellowship has taught me a lot of what I could do in my chosen craft in terms of telling stories in various platforms. ABS-CBN News is all about integrating platforms now so the fellowship is a perfect fit,” said Canoy.
In August this year, Paul Henson, executive producer of ABS-CBN’s late-night newscast “Bandila” flew to the United States to join the other nine fellows in the World Press Institute’s international journalism program.
The program has immersed Henson in US governance, politics, business, media, journalistic ethics, and culture through studying, visiting the headquarters of major news organizations, and interviewing top journalists, editors, government officials, leaders, and social activists throughout the country.
“Interacting with top global journalists and industry leaders is such an intellectual and cultural stimulation. I take pride in being a Filipino journalist, but this program also makes me realize that Philippine media has so much more catching up to do to become mature and responsive as an industry and in step with the changing times. This program is powerful tool to enable me to become a better journalist,” shared Henson.
It's the Revenge of the Lefovers in “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2”
It's the Revenge of the Lefovers in “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2”
The new, 3D animated comedy “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s mouth-watering 2009 original left off. Inventor Flint Lockwood thought he saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention - a machine that turned water into food causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes. But Flint soon learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals – "foodimals!" Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders and other foodimals to save the world – again!
Starring the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Benjamin Bratt, Neil Patrick Harris, Terry Crews, and Kristen Schaal, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” is directed by Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn. Story by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and Erica Rivinoja. Screenplay by Erica Rivinoja and John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein. Inspired by the book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs written by Judi Barrett & illustrated by Ron Barrett.
Flint Lockwood and his pals discover that something big was leftover on the island of Swallow Falls. The action picks up just sixty seconds after the first film ends: Flint Lockwood has destroyed his greatest invention, the Flint Lockwood Diatomic Super Mutating Dynamic Food Replicator, or FLDSMDFR for short. That invention was a wild success, in that it could turn water into food, and an unmitigated disaster, in that it unleashed a torrent of deadly food weather that threatened to destroy the world. Flint blew it up – or, at least, that’s what he thought.
“I love the world of Cloudy,” says Cody Cameron, who directs the film with Kris Pearn. A story board artist on the first three “Shrek” films, as well as the Sony Pictures Animation films “Surf’s Up,” the first “Cloudy,” Cameron says, “Of all the films I’ve worked on, `Cloudy' is my favorite. So to get the chance to go back and revisit the characters in this new, crazy world that we were developing made this a really exciting project for me.”
“When we started the brainstorming process, we found a very rich amount of elements to explore – not just a new adventure, but also the characters,” says Pearn, who headed up the story team on the first “Cloudy” film. “On this adventure, all of the characters get to express themselves more fully. For example, Earl, the town cop, wants to protect the home he loves so much. Manny – who was so silent through most of the first film – reveals more and more hidden sides of himself. Sam, the one person who understands Flint better than anybody else, is the one to see the island for what it is – an expression of Flint’s creativity.”
Cameron and Pearn were hand-picked to direct “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, the writers and directors of the first film. “I worked on the movie for 4½ years – the last 3½ with Phil and Chris,” says Pearn. “In the story department, you tend to have a small crew and you spend a lot of time with the directors. We got to know each other well and there was a lot of trust there. Cody and I were on the movie pretty much until the end, which is unusual, because it’s common as a film winds down to let board artists move on to other projects. So, once Phil and Chris decided they weren’t going to direct the sequel, it was an organic choice to allow us to take the reins – and not only that, but I think they saw how important it was to us to maintain the unique humor and quirkiness that made the first film so special as we embarked on the sequel.” Lord and Miller remain acti vely involved with the project as executive producers.
“On the first film, Phil and Chris were the first directors I’d ever worked with who treated the film like a writer’s room,” says Pearn. “Anybody with a thought that could help the film – even assistants and PAs – could pipe up. After all, a good idea can come from anywhere. We found that very helpful, and we’re keeping that going on this film. It’s very helpful when you can trust the crew and there’s a give-and-take in how the show is run.”
Lord and Miller say, “Kris and Cody were great collaborators on the first film and we loved working with them to bring these fun, unique characters back to life. The final result is a beautiful, stylized, funny film and we are thrilled that the Cloudy franchise has continued on in the hands of so many great people.”
Opening across the Philippines in October 9, 2013, “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International. Singapore & U.K. Send Philippine-Themed Films To The Oscar, The Philippines Sends Film Shot In Israel
THE CINEMALAYA best picture winner in the New Wave category, “Transit”, was selected by the Film Academy screening committee to be the country’s representative in the Oscar Awards’ best foreign language film category. The directorial debut of 26-year old Hannah Espia (the only female director in the entire Cinemalaya 2013 who bested out all her male rivals), the film is a well acted story about the life of Filipino overseas workers in Israel, crafted with fine technical values. The lines are in Tagalog and Hebrew.
Two of its competitors are films featuring the Philippines and with Filipino actors, but made by foreign directors. First is “Iloilo” from Singapore, also helmed by a first time director, Anthony Chen, about a boy’s relationship with his Filipino nanny. It won the Camera D’Or (best first film award at the last Cannes International Filmfest and led to Chen eventually finding his long lost Ilonga nanny, Teresita Sajonia (played by Pinay actress Angeli Bayani in the movie) in San Miguel, Iloilo.
Then there’s “Metro Manila” from the United Kingdom, directed by another first time director, Sean Ellis, and set totally in Manila with Tagalog as the main dialogue, starring local actors Jake Macapagal, Althea Vega and John Arcilla. It won the best drama award at the last Sundance Filmfest.
Will it not be ironical if “Iloilo” or “Metro-Manila” would win (or at least makes it to the short list of the five nominated films) and “Transit”, with the story set totally in Israel, won’t, when it’s the one that’s truly made by a Filipino? The edge of “Transit”, though, is that there are many Jews among the academy members so it might have some attraction for them as the Hebrew characters in “Transit” are portrayed as kind and sympathetic, especially the man who played Ping Medina’s boss.
On the other hand, the edge of a Filipino film like Erik Matti’s “On the Job” is that it already has an established American distributor, Well Go Entertainment USA, and will soon be shown in legitimate Cineplexes all over America. The distributor can certainly help push the movie since the Philippine government does not give any support at all to local films sent to compete in the Oscars. All the Film Academy does is choose which film will be sent as our entry and after that, it’s up to the producer and director to campaign on their own.
“On the Job” does not only have an American distributor to campaign for it, but it’s also produced by the biggest and most active local film company today, Star Cinema, which can certainly help in fostering awareness about the film among prospective academy voters and even with the Golden Globe Awards that antedates the Oscars.
Kiray Celis Bold and Fierce Photos
Kiray Celis Bold and Fierce Photos
Hairstylist and makeup artist Fanny Serrano felt for young actress Kiray Celis when many netizens criticized her look at the recently concluded Star Magic Ball.
In a post in his Facebook account on Sunday, Serrano said this made him decide to contact the former child star and make her his new muse.
“When I saw her fotos at the Star Magic Ball at nabasa ang mga panglalait sa image nya on that event as one of the worst dressed stars, i got hurt, kahit hindi kami magkakilala ng personal and i told myself that sobra namang mamintas ang mga tao...personalan na talaga,” Serrano wrote.
“So what i did the next day, i called my kumareng Gina Marissa Tagasa to ask contact numbers of Kiray Celis at dumating naman sa akin ang kanyang personal #. And i texted her kung pwede ko syang tawagan. Nagkausap kami and i felt her unbelievable voice at sobrang excitement when i told that i needed her for a glamorous fashion shoot in one full day,” he added.
Serrano said he enjoyed the make-over sesssion with Celis, whom he described as a very good listener during the entire photo shoot.
“For Kiray Celis effort naman...super ang concentration nya to elongate her neck and stretching her face forward to show her jawline and i taught her the model's bite to emphasize her chin and the model's movement to play with MJ's lens...and THAT'S IT THE ICONIC PHOTOSHOOT OF THE LADY KIRAY,” he said.
Lauding how the young actress used her talent as an actress during the shoot, Serrano said: “She is a very good listener to be able to deliver all the angst of the characters i demanded from her during the shoot! She is an intelligent actress and i am sooo proud that i did her very very first fashion shoot!”
The pictures, which were shot by MJ Suayan, were all posted in Serrano’s Facebook account.
As of writing, the collage titled “Mystified” already has 80 comments, over 640 “likes” and over 220 shares.
Lovi Poe Knows How To Let Go Of The Past, Unlike Her Character In 'Sana Dati'
LOVI POE gives a very good portrayal as a bride about to get married to TJ Trinidad but has second thoughts about her decision when she meets Paulo Avelino in “Sana Dati”, winner of the best picture in the Directors Showcase division in the recent CineMalaya filmfest. TJ won as best supporting actor but Lovi didn’t win as best actress despite the good reviews she got for her performance. Was she somehow disappointed?
“No, I was up against THE Vilma Santos, so ano ba naman ang laban ko, di ba?” she says. “At saka sa ngayon, mas maganda yung you do not expect. When I first won sa CineMalaya as best actress for ‘Mayohan’, hindi ko rin inaasahan yun at mas maganda ang feeling na di ka nage-expect at all, tapos binigay sa iyo. But I really love my role in ‘Sana Dati’ as Andrea, a woman who can’t seem to let go of her past with a videographer, played by Benjamin Alves. She’s at the crossroads and cannot make a final decision, but she’s so lucky that her groom, TJ Trinidad, is so considerate and supportive of her kaya sa ending, sa final scene, makikita nyong she has finally moved on.”
In real life, is she also like Andrea, finding it hard to let go of the past? “No, I’m not like that. For me, pag tapos na, move on. Past is past.”
Just like with ex-BF Ronald Singson? “Yes, hindi na kami nagkabalikan, we’ve both moved on, but he’ll always be part of my past.”
“Sana Dati” is an entry in the Hawaii International Filmfest from October 17 to 21 and she has already asked permission from GMA-7 to allow her to attend it. She’d have to do some advance tapings for her two shows, the daily soap “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas” on GMA-7 and the Sunday drama, “Titser”, on GMA News Channel.
“Sana Dati” got an A from the Cinema Evaluation Board and also won the best director award for Jerrold Tarog in the last Cinemalaya awards night. It also won the awards for best sound (Roger TJ Ladro), best original music score (Jerrold Tarog), best editing (Pats Ranyo), best production design (Ericson Navarro) and best cinematography (Mackie Galvez). It opens tomorrow in theatres nationwide.
PBB Season 5 Audition Dates, Venues, Requirements and Tips
PBB Season 5 Audition Dates, Venues, Requirements and Tips
Here are the audition dates and venues of the upcoming season of ABS-CBN' biggest reality competition franchise Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) as announced during the Top 8 live performance night of The Voice of The Philippines on Sunday, September 22.
October 26-27, 2013 Davao City
November 9-10, 2013 Cebu City
Requirements:
Must be 18-years old and above Bring a photo copy of Birth certificate and a close-up and whole body photos
Tips (as posted on http://www.tysonsrealm.com):
1. As always - BE YOURSELF!
2. Be early.
3. To avoid inconvenience during the long lines and time of waiting, bring food and drinks with you. I have to warn you, it will be a long day especially for those who will pass every round. There's a chance that auditions will be for a day!
4. Don't get intimidated with others. You may find some as more attractive than you, but remember, looks is only a plus but not a guaranty. Personality is what they are looking for! Tagalugin ko lang, marahil may ilan sa mga nanunuod ang nagtataka kung bakit majority ng mga official housemates ay may looks. Nagkataon lamang na they also have the attitude and personality that will BEST match for viewer's entertainment and pleasure.
5. Be confident! This is implied to all kinds of audition.
6. Based on my observations and research, the first phase of the audition process is only a "PANSIN FACTOR" search.
7. When it comes to the questions, give the interviewers the BEST UNIQUE answer!
8. If the question is about "telling about yourself", tell them about your personality and ung mga''bagay" or "tao" na ayaw mo. Kung sinabi ng nagtatatanong na "maikling pagpapakilala lang",sumunod ka! Iklian mo at huwag kang gumawa ng nobela. Hindi na magiging interesado yan! Remember to sell yourself to them, little by litte. Ibig sabihin, unti-unti! Wag mong ibigay lahat saisang bagsakan!
9. Be ready for an answer to this question ---> "Bakit ka karapat dapat makapasok?" Give them the reasons why they MUST choose you. Don't be safe, dapat ang sagot mo is magmukhang lumalaban ka at walang binatbat ang mga kasabayan mo sa 'yo. May mga oras na lumalapit ang mga nagiinterview sa bawat auditionee, as in face to face. Don't lean back as if "mabaho" hininga mo. Tignan mo sa mata and keep saying this at the back of your mind, "Sige, magtanong ka, kahit ano pa 'yan! Kaya kong sagutin at ibigay kung anong gusto mong sagot!, challenge me".
10. Make sure that you "stand out" on the next rounds. If you have proven yourself in the first round, don't be complacent. Just keep on track. Mas maganda ang hindi planado ang sasabihin, kung ano ang unang pumasok sa isip mo, yun ang sabihin mo. Lagyan mo lang ng "mark" na matatandaan ng mga interviewers. For sure after the day, magrerecall yan ng mga "tumatak" sa kanila.
11. If the interviewers will ask you about your advantages over the others, "lift your chair". It's one of the best ways to sell yourself. Kahit wala ka sa position na husgahan sila, do it! Don't play safe, anyway, they are only asking for your opinions. No harm done!
12. The best thing to change in this world is 'YOURSELF'. I'm sure that one of the reasons why you want be a housemate is to "change". That's a good reason.
13. Kalimutan mo na, ngayon palang na kaya ka sumali sa PBB is dahil gusto mong "tulungan ang Pamilya" mo. Lumang sagot na 'yan! And besides, NARARAPAT lamang na tulungan mo sila.
Pero it's not proper to cry during auditions. Para sa kanila, pagmamakaawa 'yon. But, they will always feel the pain and if you have the most inspiring story, kahit umiyak ka, they will give you chance!
15. Remember that PBB is a mixture of people with different lives and personalities. Kung alam nilang akma kang isali sa ibang tao, at may mapapala sila sa'yo, may chance ka!
16. PBB is reality show. They will surely pick those who will benefit after the "exposure". Business is business. That's it!
17. It is not a talent portion (though talent is a plus). If they will ask you to show your talent, just be yourself. Just don't forget to leave a mark sa ginawa mo.
18. It's given na limited lang ang audition venues na pupuntahan ng PBB team. At kung nagkataon ay malayo from your place, still GO for it! Kung gusto, maraming paraan, kung ayaw, maraming dahilan. If there's a will, there's a way. Mag-ipon kana simula ngayon.
19. PRAY!
20. Remember that this is only a guide. Just keep on coming back to tip number 1.
