TV5 and Hong Kong Disneyland Team-up to Bring the Most Magical Pinoy TV Series "The Magic In You"


For the first time in the history of local television, Hong Kong Disneyland partners with a local TV channel to come up with a TV series that will showcase not just the numerous exciting rides and adventures inside the world's most famous theme park and the beauty and magic it brings to our hearts but also to pay tribute to world-class Pinoy talents who works in the "happiest place on earth".

As part of its 10th anniversary, Hong Kong Disneyland collaborate with TV5 in creating a quality, family-friendly entertainment program called "Wattpad Presents: The Magic In You" which was partly shot in every corner of the park.

Based from the hit Wattpad novel by marielicious, "The Magic in You" features the toprating tandem of Artista Academy alumni Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae as they give life to the well-loved characters of Basti Rivera and Princess Anne Dimla. Growing up with heart full of fondness to Disney Princesses like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella and Mulan, Princess wished to be part of the Disney family. Her wish was granted when she was hired as a songwriter.  Her heart got crushed when she found out that she has been scammed. During her breakdown, Basti was able to film her dramatic scenes, posted it on YouTube, and made her an online sensation. They finally found each other in Disneyland. The question is, will it still be the happiest place on Earth when the angry Princess met the culprit Basti?

Lately, though, his character is going through a transition. “I’m really thankful to our director, Maryo J. de los Reyes, dahil he helps me in interpreting my character well. Matapos akong mahuli sa pagnanakaw sa crown ng virgin, nakulong ako, nagsisi at pinatawad ni Dingdong Dantes as Fr. Kokoy who even protected me to the people who tried to lynch me, led by Ms. Chanda Romero.”

The singer revealed, though, that it was only in the show that he discovered his talents in impersonation.

Pinag-usapan sa twitter world noong Abril 5 ang pagsisimula ng bagong teen oriented program na InstaDad na pinagbibidahan nila Ash Ortega, Gabrielle Garcia, Jazz Ocampo at Gabby Eigenmann.

Waging-wagi sa tv ratings ang programang InstaDad at nakapagtala ito ng 9.7% laban sa namaalam na The Buzz na nakakuha ng 7.2% ito ay base sa inilabas nang AGB Nielsen.

Empress Schuck confirms pregnancy rumor, reveals identity of baby's father

Empress Schuck has confirmed the rumors that she is indeed pregnant.

Through an interview that aired on "Startalk" on Saturday, the 22-year-old actress revealed that she is already three months pregnant. She also identified the father of the baby as Vino Guingona, her boyfriend for more than a year now.

Vino is a model from Zamboanga and the grandson of the former vice president of the Philippines, Teofisto Guingona Jr.

Empress specifically asked for Jennylyn Mercado to be the one to interview her. Aside from the fact that they are friends and they also have the same manager, Jennylyn also went through the same controversy in 2008 when she herself got pregnant at the age of 21.

In the interview, Empress narrated that she and Vino were together when she found out that she is pregnant. It was the process of telling her parents about it, though, that was the hardest.

"Sure ako ang mga nanay talaga may mga violent reactions talaga sa una. Siyempre hindi naman talaga maiwasan 'yon. Talagang hinanda ko na 'yong sarili ko, e. Siyempre nagalt siya, na-disappoint siya. Pero pagkatapos naman no'n naging okay na siya," Empress said, adding that her mom is now in full support of her pregnancy. "Nandiyan siya para sa akin. Okay lang sa kanya."

Aside from her family, though, the Guingonas are also there for her, especially Vino who has become even more protective.

"Hindi niya talaga ako iniwan," Empress said, referring to Vino. "Minsan gusto kong mapag-isa, sabi niya talaga, 'Hindi.' Kailangan kasama siya, 'yong family niya, 'yong ate ko, 'yong mga kapatid ko."

If there's an important thing that she learned from being pregnant at a young age and out of wedlock, it is the fact that she came to know the people who really care for her.

"Maraming nagmamahal pala sa akin. Hindi mo nakikita minsan,hindi mo nararamdaman.'Yong mga pagkakataong ganito, do'n sila nagsulputan. Ngayon, ramdam na ramdam ko kungbsino talaga 'yong  mga sumusuporta sa akin," she said.

As for the wedding, she said they don't talk about it yet because their focus right now is on her pregnancy.

Meanwhile, hours after the interview was aired, Empress took to Instagram to post a photo of herself together with her boyfriend.

Argentine Judge Orders Arrest Warrant for Justin Bieber

An Argentine judge has issued an arrest warrant for Justin Bieber on Friday, saying the singer failed to respond to summons related to allegations he ordered bodyguards to attack a photographer in 2013.

Judge Alberto Julio Banos ordered the "immediate detention" of Bieber and bodyguards Hugo Alcides Hesny and Terrence Reche Smalls.

An email sent to a Bieber representative was not immediately returned.

Bieber is accused of sending the bodyguards to attack photographer Diego Pesoa outside a Buenos Aires nightclub. Bieber never returned to Argentina to respond to questions about the incident.

Under Argentine law, Bieber would face from one month to six years in prison if convicted on a charge of causing injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear whether the warrant would extend beyond Argentina. Calls to the judge's office Friday afternoon were not answered.

In comments to local station Telefe Noticias, Pesoa's lawyer implied that the warrant would force Bieber to return to the South American country.

"Now we just need to wait for the police to find him and bring him" to Argentina, said lawyer Matias Morla. "For us, this is a triumph against all those who said this case was a bluff and that we didn't have anything."

Calls and emails to Morla were not immediately returned.
