TONI GONZAGA, KUMPIRMADONG HOST NG ‘THE VOICE OF THE PHILIPPINES’

Isa rin siyang tinitingalang TV at movie actress, certified recording star, sold-out concert performer, covergirl, at pinagkakatiwalaang product endorser.

Bernard Palanca Wants to Return to Showbiz

Actor Bernard Palanca is now ready to stage his showbiz comeback after stepping out of the limelight for quite a while.

Last week, Palanca reunited with the other members of the group The Hunks as the ABS-CBN concert variety show “ASAP” celebrated its 18th anniversary.

In an interview with “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, Palanca said he is now ready to take on new roles that the ABS-CBN management would give him.

He also explained why he left showbiz years back.

“Not naman sawa but I just got tired at one point kasi nga it was kinda hard dealing with all the negativity. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, assumption, whatever else they want to think. I do what I do, I accept everything eh. Whether or not I do something good or bad, I accept anything after that,” he said.

Palanca said it was his personal choice to take a breather.

“I did that personally. I reinvented myself. I come back now more refreshed. I got burnt out prior eh. It was a decision I had to do,” he said.

Meanwhile, the actor denied that his former partner Meryl Soriano is preventing him to see their child.

“No, not at all because I was with my son. There was never a time that I couldn't see him. In fact, I was with him yesterday so none of that is true,” he said.

Soriano and Palanca tied the knot on September 8, 2006 in a civil ceremony held in San Juan City. Their marriage, however, lasted for five months only.

Palanca maintained that he and his estranged wife remain friends.

Sarah Geronimo Turns Emotional on Finale of 'Sarah G Live'

An emotional Sarah Geronimo bid farewell to viewers on the final episode of her weekly musical show “Sarah G Live” on Sunday.

Saying she has learned a lot from it since its pilot episode in February last year, Geronimo said she considers the show as one of her greatest blessings in life.

Likening “Sarah G Live” to a roller coaster ride, Geronimo said she will forever treasure this one-year journey.

This entire experience and blessing has definitely made me stronger, braver and wiser,” she said.

The 24-year old singer also shared the things that she learned while doing the show.

Talagang you really have to give all your heart when performing kahit na meron kang pinagdadaanan, meron kang problema. Ang importante bilang performer, binibigay mo ang lahat,” she said.

“Natutunan ko po ang self-control. Pero pagpasensyahan niyo na po kasi before the show started sinabi nila na ‘Sarah just be yourself.'

Singing Kelly Clarkson's “Breakaway” for her statement song, Geronimo shed tears as she sang the lines “I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly. Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye. Gotta take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway.”

Before ending the show, Geronimo thanked everyone who watched her each week. She also thanked those behind the show for being with her all the way.

Geronimo ended the show with her hit “Forever’s Not Enough,” as her fans and co-hosts approached her to give her flowers.

Also, Sarah opened the last episode of "Sarah G Live" on Sunday with her electrifying performance of Madonna's "Music" and Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music." Dancing and singing at the same time, Geronimo had the dance group "G Force" as her back up as she sang the two upbeat songs.
