Fans Are Pairing Off Jennylyn Mercado With Luis Alandy Since They'Re Both Loveless Now (7 Photos)

SOME FANS OF Jennylyn Mercado are pairing her with Luis Alandy now that her ex-BF Luis Manzano is back into the arms of Angel Locsin and Luis himself has just broken up with his Canada-based GF Bebs Hollman. What can Luis Alandy say about the urging of netizens for him to court Jen?

“Hindi naman ganun kadali yan,” he says. “We might just be accused of love on the rebound. At sa ngayon, busy rin ako taping for ‘Innamorata’ and we’re all happy nina Max Collins and Gwen Zamora na mataas agad ang rating namin at very positive ang feedback from the viewers.”

Luis celebrated his birthday recently. He decided to spend it with the nursery students of the Cradle of Joy Foundation. He shared his blessings by donating to them 100 coloring books and storybooks plus crayons so the nursery kids can color them. “I value the importance of education kaya gusto kong tulungan ang mga batang ito to be more interested and inspired in reading storybooks and in coloring them. Having a good education is surely a positive step for them to have a better future.”

How is it playing the role of a blind man in “Innamorata”? “Akala ko noong una, madali lang magbulag-bulagan, but it’s hard pala. Once, dahil hindi ko makita ang dinaraanan ko, may nabunggo ako at minsan naman, nadapa ako. But I’m enjoying the challenge of playing someone who’s blind. Next time, naman I want to try being a deaf mute, for another challenge.”

Alex Medina Nominated As Best Actor But He's Realistic Enough To Say Someone Else Would Win

ALEX MEDINA is nominated as best actor in some award giving bodies for his effective portrayal of an internet scammer in “Babagwa”, but he’s not expecting to win. “Para namang malayo akong manalo e nandiyan si Joel Torre who gives to very good performances last year in ‘On the Job’ and ‘Kabisera’,” says. “Happy na lang akong nominated din ako at ang ‘Babagwa’, kunsaan-saang festivals abroad na napasali at napuri.”

He now does a mainstream movie, the horror film “Third Eye” for Regal Entertainment, and he’s glad to be working with co-actors from the two top networks: Carla Abellana, Camille Prats from GMA and Ejay Falcon, Denise Laurel from ABS-CBN. “Siempre kabado ako noong una kasi akong pinakabago sa kanila, but they all turned out to be nice to work with, pati na si Direk Aloy Adlawan na ngayon ko rin lang nakatrabaho.”

What’s his role? “I play Camille Prats’ husband. Pero may hiwagang nakabalot sa pagkatao namin. Eventually, magtataka ang viewers: ano ba kami, multo o evil creatures lang? Nakakatakot talaga ang buong concept ng movie. Tiyak na nenerbyusin ang viewers sa pagsunod nila kay Carla nang matuklasan nito ang isang village full of the undead. Kaya ang mahihilig sa horror movies, humanda na sila kasi kakaibang uri ng pananakot ang dala ng ‘Third Eye’.”

TV5 Exposes the Perks and Downside of Being Famous in "JasMine"

TV5 Exposes the Perks and Downside of Being Famous in "JasMine"

TV5, together with the leading media innovator Unitel Productions and advertising genius Ace Saatchi & Saatchi come up with a TV project set to expose the pros and cons of being a famous celebrity.
This newest mystery-suspense mini drama series called "JasMine," starring Best Supporting Actress awardee Jasmine Curtis-Smith will uncover the convenience, perks, greatness the entertainment industry has to offer. And so its downside...a very dangerous, threatening impact of being a well-known, award-winning showbiz star.
Blurring the boundaries between fiction and realities, Jasmine plays a fictional character of herself  -   same name and the same profile as an indie actress crossing over to mainstream productions, The conflict starts when she finds some industry enemies after being paired with the fictional network’s top artist Alexis Vergara (Vin Abrenica) and then it gets even worse when a mysterious and creepy stalker named "Maskara" appears to make her life a living hell.
During the blogcon held Thursday afternoon at Goldilocks Shaw Blvd in Mandaluyong, Jasmine describes the show as "a mix of fiction and reality so basically the audience they really have to figure out what’s real and what’s not. But, of course it’s a peg of Entourage where the characters are playing their own names but of course their personalities are a bit more made up and fiction because also we have to portray a story line."
Aside from Jasmine and Vin Abrenica, "JasMine" also stars CLICK HERE.
