Paolo Contis Happy With LJ Reyes & Son, And For Friend John Lloyd Cruz' Lovelife Now With Ellen Adarna

PAOLO CONTIS was last seen on the primetime show "Alyas Robin Hood", both books 1 and 2. He does comedy every Friday in "Bubble Gang". He's now featured in the Sunday night show, "Stories for the Soul", which is based on Biblical stories. Their episode is entitled "Rehas" and will be based on the story of St. Paul the Apostle. He will play the role of a tough prison warden who will have a change of heart and help in bringing prisoners closer to our Creator.

Paolo started as a child actor in ABS-CBN's 'Ang TV' and, as a teenager, he gained fame as one of the young stars of "Tabing Ilog". His co-stars then were John Lloyd Cruz (who became the biggest star in their batch), Patrick Garcia (now married with kids) and Baron Geisler (whose career is now neither here nor there because of his frequent misbehavior). Paolo is the only one who moved to GMA-7 and he's been a Kapuso for seven years now.

What can he say now that John Lloyd is said to be about a dad with Ellen Adarna as the mom? "I'm happy for him as he's of the right age naman to get married and have kids. He's one year older than me. 34 siya, 33 ako. And we can see naman sa social media photos nila na happy sila, so my message for them is to just stay happy."

As for him, it's common knowledge that he is now in a happy relationship with LJ Reyes. LJ's son with Paulo Avelino, Aki, is now very much attached to him. "I gained his friendship and trust by playing with him. He knows that I will always be here for him. But I have no intention of replacing his dad as father figure. Alam niya kung sino ang dad niya and I'm just here as his very good friend."

He's surely in a serious relationship with LJ but they have no wedding plans yet. "Marami pang dapat ayusin. Okay na muna yung ganito kami."

The episode "Rehas" will be seen on February 25 in the new time slot of the inspirational show, "Stories for the Soul", which is presented by Sen. Manny Pacquiao. It used to be at late Sunday night but now, it will be aired right after "Dear Uge" on Sunday afternoons.
