TELEVISION: Asia's Got Talent Finalist Gerphil Flores Performs Signature Song In It's Showtime

MANILA - Asia's Got Talent 2nd runner-up Gerphil Flores finally performed in an ABS-CBN show after rumors of her denying appearances in the Kapamilya network.


Gerphil Flores previously rumored that she's still holding grudge against the network after her failed stint in Pilipinas Got Talent. The Asia's Got Talent runner-up explained that her non-appearance in ASAP with El Gamma Penumbra, Junior New System and Gwyneth Dorado was due to her extended stay in Singapore.

After days in the Philippines, Gerphil Flores finally showed off her singing prowess in ABS-CBN noontime show It's Showtime:

MANILA - Kapamilya sexy star Ellen Adarna is still in number 1 position in the second partial update of FHM Philippines 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2015 poll.


If Ellen Adarna managed to keep her top spot in the 2nd update of FHM Philippines 100 Sexiest Women, Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera's name is nowhere to be found in the Top 10 of the 2nd update.

Previously, Marian Rivera won the poll twice in a row in 2013 then last year, and thrice overall, the first was in 2008. Apparently, the pregnancy of Marian Rivera after tying the knot with actor Dingdong Dantes may have hurt her chance to clinch the top spot again.

Kantar Media National TV Ratings (May 26, 2015) - 'Nathaniel' back on top

"Nathaniel" (ABS-CBN) is back on top after the finale week of "Forevermore" and the pilot episode of "Pangako Sa 'Yo."

Based on Kantar Media's data, the Gerald Anderson, Shaina Magdayao and Marco Masa starrer scored 34.5% national rating on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, topping the national ratings chart.

"Pangako Sa 'Yo," meanwhile, was the second most watched program last Tuesday with 32.2% national rating, beating rival show "Let The Love Begin" (GMA-7) which only got 16.7%.

'Your Face Sounds Familiar' reveals final 4 celebrity performers this week

After taking on different identities as music icons, the eight celebrity performers of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” are about to undergo one last total transformation to try to make it to the program’s Final Four performers who will compete in the Grand Showdown.

This weekend (May 30 and 31), the top-rating program will unveil the Final Four who will fight for public votes in the finals by summing up the performers’ overall scores spanning 12 weeks’ worth of performances.

The competition is expected to be tough as all of them have been named weekly top scorers, with Jay-R (as Pepe Smith and Kenny Rogers), Karla Estrada (as Chaka Khan and Ann Wilson), and Jolina Magdangal (as Cher and Manny Pacquiao) bagging the title twice.

Also not to be forgotten are the brilliant top-scoring performances of Nyoy Volante as Justin Bieber, Maxene Magalona as Francis Magalona, Melai Cantiveros as Elizabeth Ramsey, Edgar Allan Guzman as Vice Ganda, and Tutti Caringal as Ely Buendia.

This weekend, pulling out all the stops with their impersonations are Jay-R as Enrique Iglesias, Karla as Aretha Franklin, Jolina as the young Michael Jackson, Nyoy as Luciano Pavarotti, Maxene as Iggy Azalea, Melai as Sarah Geronimo, EA as John Legend, and Tutti as Mick Jagger.

Pagtatapos ng Forevermore trending at wagi sa ratings, Let the Love Begin semplang forever!

Waging-wagi hanggang sa pagtatapos ang hit teleserye Forevermore na pinagbibidahan nila Enrique Gil at Liza Soberano na minahal ng pinoy viewers.

Apat na GMA Telebabad ang nakatapat ng serye Forevermore una na dyan ang Hiram na Alaala, Strawberry Lane, Once Upon a Kiss at Let the Love Begin na semplang ang mga ratings.

Simula umere ang Forevermore wagi ito sa ratings mapa Mega Manila man o Nationwide minahal ito ng pinoy viewers dahil sa nakakakilig na pag-iibigan nila Xander at Agnes, trending at pinag-usapan din ito sa social media.

Wagi-wagi ang finale episode ng Forevermore at nakapagtala ito ng 39.3% na ratings base sa datos mula sa Kantar Media ang mas pinagkakatiwalaan ng mas maraming advertisers. Semplang naman forever ang naghihingalong serye ni Ai-Ai delas Alas na Let the Love Begin na nakakuha ng 16.1% na ratings.

On May 26th, female magazine ‘Women Sense’ released a picture of Yoo Jae Suk‘s wife, Na Kyung-Eun and their son, Yoo Ji-Ho taken on May 5th, the children’s day.
They were spotted going on a picnic near Han river. Na Kyung Eun showed her slim figure and clear skin while Yoo Ji-Ho held her hands, drawing attention for his small face and long legs. 
Yoo Jae Suk and Na  Kyung Eun have never revealed their son to public to keep him far from spotlight, so this first pictorial created an issue.

Eh, bago magsimula ang hearing, nagpunta sa CR ang celeb. After ng ilang minute, bumalik na siya sa korte para sa dinaluhang hearing.

Pag-alis ng female celeb, may nakasunod palang empleyado sa kanya sa CR. Paglabas ng aktres sa cubicle, pumasok ang empleyado.

Nalaman niyang dumumi ang celeb pero ang siste, hindi raw ito nag-flush ng inodoro, huh! Pati laki ng dumi ng celeb ay itsinismis ng empleyado at kumalat naman sa justice hall ang pagdumi ng female celeb!

ASIA’S FIRST reality family series, “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez (Season 1 and 2)”, a hit in Asia, is set to premiere worldwide on TFC (The Filipino Channel) on June 6 and Lifestyle Network on June 26. And on the 3rd week of July, the third season of the show with ten new episodes will be seen on E! Channel. This was announced in a special presscon where Eddie Gutierrez, Annabelle Rama, Ruffa Gutierrez, Richard Gutierrez and Raymond Gutierrez faced the press. Viewers in the U.S. and the Middle East can now follow the family’s intimate moments and wacky adventures that include sibling rivalries and conflicts between Annabelle and daughter Ruffa.

It’s common knowledge that Annabelle has not talked to Ruffa for two months now. It’s suspected that it’s because Annabelle doesn’t approve of Ruffa’s new BF, Jordan Mouyal, but her mom says it’s deeper than that and she’ll reveal it only at the start of the third season of their reality show.

Darren Espanto Confident He Can Fill Up MOA Arena With This Birthday Concert On Friday, May 29

DARREN ESPANTO is just runner up to Lyca Gairanod in “The Voice Kids” but he has overtaken the winner in the sense that he already has a hit self-titled solo album released by MCA Music and will have his solo concert on Friday, May 29, at the Mall Of Asia (MOA) Arena to mark his 14th birthday on May 24, “Darren Espanto D Birthday Concert”. Presented by Talk N’ Text, Spinnr and MCA Music in cooperation with Brood Shoes, his guests include Robi Domingo, Bimby Yap, Mitoy Yonting (The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 champion), Jason Dy (The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 champion), La Gamma Penumbra (Asia’s Got Talent winner) and Alisah Bonaobra (TVOP Season 2 runner-up). On June 7, Darren will also join stars and other celebrities at the Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City.
What can he say that some folks say it's premature for him to do a concert at MOA? "Confident naman po akong mapupuno namin. 70 percent na raw po ang nabebentang tickets at maraming Darrenatics na manonood."

Darren started singing when he was just 2 years old. “At that age, I’ve already memorized songs by Sarah Geronimo, kaya I was so happy when she became my coach on The Voice Kids. She’s really my idol. I got all her albums. She can do all kinds of songs: ballad, pop, R&B.”

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Darren is the eldest of 2 kids. His younger sister is 5 years old. Both of his parents sing. “I first joined talent shows in school when I was in grade 4. Local producers there then started getting me as front act for Filipino singers performing in Canada. It was my Lola who saw the auditions for Voice Kids on TV and told me to join the audition and I did.”

Right now, his voice is very high like that of a girl’s, so he can sing the birit songs of Sarah G. Since he’s now 14, isn’t he scared that his voice might soon break and will have a lower timbre? “I’m scared but I will just make adjustments later kung saan genre babagay ang magiging voice ko.”
What happens after the concert? “I will have a Philippine tour and later, a U.S. tour. I’m very open to try acting. May plans daw ang ABS for me.”
It’s said composer Vehnee Saturno who wrote the hit song from his album, “In Love Ako Sa’yo”, is hurting because Darren failed to thank him when he got his gold record award. “Kasi po pressed for time na ako. But I really want to thank him. Manonood daw siya ng concert ko.”

Tickets to his concert are P4,230 for VIP; P3,700 for Patron; P2,640 for Lower Box; P1,270 for Upper Box; and P430 for General Admission. Call 470-2222.
