Three Pinoy kids with foreign blood successfully made it past the Blind Auditions of "The Voice Kids Philippines" season 2 on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Filipino-Japanese Kiyana Bongat who is from Cavite made it as the 7th member of Team Lea.
Kiyana, 11, sang Bruno Mars' "Grenade" which also made coach Bamboo Mañalac turn for her. However, it was coach Lea Salonga that she picked.
Luke James Alford from Batangas, meanwhile, was the only 3-chair turner for the night. The Filipino-British school heartthrob impressed all three coaches with his rendition of Train's "Hey Soul Sister."
Before he was called to the stage, Luke, 10, told host Yeng Constantino that he wants coaches Lea and Bamboo to turn for him, but he got a bonus when coach Sarah Geronimo also turned.
He chose to be the 8th member of Team Lea. Before that, however, coach Lea said he's "a star in the making."
Mikhaela "Mandy" Sevillana, meanwhile, was so cute with her very lively way of talking. She said her father is a German who left her for his other family. Her mom, a Filipina, also has her own family. Little Mandy was given as a baby to her mom's cousin who has been taking care of her until now.
The 11-year-old sang the gospel tune "Hesus" and her rendition made coach Sarah turn. Tonight, she became Team Sarah's 10th member.
Meanwhile, Nicole Apolinar, a shy, boyish kid from Cebu also made it tonight. She's the only successful auditionee tonight who's a pure Filipino.
Nicole, 12, said she's "comfortable about being boyish because it's part of being cool." During her Blind Audition, however, she let go of pants for a more feminine look. And she looked pretty.
She did One Republic's "Secrets" which impressed coach Bamboo, the coach that she really wanted to turn for her. It made her the 8th member of Team Bamboo.
Four young singers got in. As for the number of artists in each team, Team Sarah still has the most number of members with 10, while Team Lea and Team Bamboo have 8 members each.

ABS-CBN has released a teaser for "Ningning" which stars Jana Agoncillo.
The teaser says: "Muling magniningning si Janna Agoncillo bilang Ningning."
We loved the child actress in "Honesto" and she proved that she can headline a series in "Dream Dad."
No word on the storyline of "Ningning" yet but it seems like a feel-good series again, as it is topbilled by a child.
Here's the teaser:
Rihanna is on the cover of Elle South Africa's July 2015 issue!

The Barbadian singer is featured as "raw, real and right now" in the Street Style issue.

ABS-CBN's Star Creatives has already found the new Bea Bianca Bejerano, a character in "Pangako Sa 'Yo" that was originally played by Vanessa Del Bianco.
Almost 200 reportedly auditioned but it was Sarah Carlos that shone for the role.
Sarah is an accounting student from San Beda whose only acting experience is being cast in school plays.
Her character in "Pangako Sa 'Yo" is described as the "fun and flirty" third wheel in the love story of the lead stars (KathNiel), something which director Olive Lamasan has already warned the auditionees about.
"Sabi ko sa kanila, we're giving you time to think. Kung hindi okay sa iyo ang magpa-sexy, to wear bikini or swimsuits, kung ayaw n'yo ma-bash kasi third wheel kayo sa KathNiel love team, then this is not for you," the director said, as quoted by pep.ph.
"Sabi namin, think about it. Among the six, siya ang ayaw nang mag-isip. She was already ready," Direk Olive said about Sarah.
Do you have any idea who the little girl in the photo is????

First of all, Viva owns the rights to the film and the story written by Nerissa Cabral. The company hired screenwriter Orlando Nadres to write the script, director Emmanuel Borlaza to direct the film and Sharon Cuneta, Cherie Gil and other actors and actresses to perform in the film. All the work done by these people in the film belongs to Viva including that line of Cherie,” Annang noted.
“Second, under the law, for anyone to be a co-author of a literary work, there has to be a manifest intent between the parties to create the work. In this case, the line was, at most, an ad-lib so there is no intent between the scriptwriter or the alleged author to do it together. So in this case, she cannot be a co-author.”
“Third, according to Direk Maning, he was the one who thought of the line. Since he is also a scriptwriter, Boss Vic del Rosario of Viva gave him a free hand to rehash and revise the script, so even before the shooting began, Direk Maning already revised the script and added that particular line.
“Finally, a copyright exists only for 25 years. For audiovisual works like this film, the reckoning point is the date of publish or print. The movie was released in 1985 so that’s already 30 years ago today so the copyright no longer exists. That’s the position of Viva.”
Big Bang kick off their teasers with a rather different atmosphere for MADE SERIES [D].
