Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap Welcome "Baby Kambal" in Be Careful With My Heart

Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap both credit the loyal supporters of Maya and Ser Chief for the phenomenal success of ABS-CBN's number one daytime romantic series "Be Careful With My Heart."

"For almost two years now, the viewers' strong following has allowed us to continue spreading happiness and inspiration to more people," said Jodi about their show that was lauched on ABS-CBN's Primetanghali block on July 9, 2012.

Richard further shared how he and Jodi are still amazed by the special attachment of viewers with Maya and Ser Chief's love story.

"It's really heartwarming to be of help to other people in a very unique way. We met viewers who were sick, who felt better just because they saw us," said Richard. "We'll always be here to make our viewers happy, and we'll do it as long as they need us."

Meanwhile, both Jodi and Richard are excited about how the public will welcome the arrival of Maya and Ser Chief's 'Baby Kambal' (twins).

"They should watch out for the grand welcome to the newest addition to the Lim family and how the twins will change the lives of Maya and Ser Chief," said Jodi.

Pam Mendiola, Jessy's Elder Sister, Joins Showbiz In Tv5's 'Pretty Little Liars'

PAM MENDIOLA is Jessy Mendiola’s elder sister and she’s also joining showbiz managed by Atty. Jun Samaniego. “Magkasunod kami ni Jessy,” she says. “She was born Dec. 3, 1992. Ako, Dec. 9, 1991. We used to celebrate our birthdays together on Dec. 6 and people thought kambal kami.”

She’s now with TV5 and included in the new drama series “Pretty Little Liars”. Why didn’t she join Jessy at ABS? “I want to make a name for myself on my own at ayokong masabing package deal kami. Also, I don’t want to be under her shadow.”

How come she joined showbiz only now? “Nagtapos muna kasi ako ng college. I just graduated from Miriam with a degree in international studies. Jessy joined showbiz when she was only 14 years old. We also have a 15 year old youngest sister, Megan. Pero ayaw mag-artista. She prefers to be a model and singer. Ako naman, I tried hosting sa cable channel ng Viva and did some guestings. Then I met Atty. Samaniego and I’m now his first talent. Nag-go see ako sa TV5 and I was surprised sinali nila ako agad sa ‘Pretty Little Liars’. I’ve taped na with them for three days with Direk Mac Alejandre. I was so nervous noong una kasi first acting job ko but Direk Mac is so nice at hindi naman ako nahirapan.”

Was she also born in Abu Dabi like Jessy? “Yes. I was 9 when we moved here to Manila and our youngest sister was born here. Our dad is a Lebanese-British singer-musician who plays various instruments. He’s now working in Bahrain.”

She admits having had two boyfriends before. “But now, ayoko muna ng lovelife. I want to focus on my acting career. Gusto ko munang maging more stable bago ko mag-boyfriend uli.”

What’s her advice to Jessy who’s very “ligawin”? “Na huwag siyang mag-commit agad at kilalanin muna niyang buti. Una sa lahat, huwag siyang kukuha ng may bisyo.”

Sounds like she’s referring to Jessy’s ex-actor boyfriend who just came out of rehab.

“The Purge” Movie Sequel Unveils Teaser Poster, Images

“The Purge” Movie Sequel Unveils Teaser Poster, Images

Universal Pictures has released the first poster and images for writer/director James DeMonaco's horror thriller “The Purge: Anarchy,” the sequel to last year's surprise hit “The Purge.”
The follow-up continues the plot device from the first film in which all crimes are legal on one day of the year, during the annual “Purge”, which preserves peace and prosperity for the other 364 days of the year. This time, instead of another home invasion, the sequel will be going beyond the confines of a shelter and watching characters struggle to survive the night.

The New Founders of America invite you to celebrate your annual right to Purge in “The Purge: Anarchy.” Returning alongside writer/director/producer James DeMonaco to produce the sequel to 2013’s sleeper hit are Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (“Paranormal Activity” and “Insidious” series), alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier (“Assault on Precinct 13”) and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay (“Transformers” franchise), Brad Fuller (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”) and Andrew Form (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Friday the 13th”).

The film stars Frank Grillo (upcoming “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”), Michael K. Williams (HBO's “Boardwalk Empire”), and Zach Gilford (“Friday Night Lights”).

Opening soon across the Philippines, “The Purge: Anarchy″ is distributed by United International Pictures.

Camille ready to leave PH for love

Camille Prats is ready to leave everything – her career, her pre-school, Divine Angels Montessori  -- should her US-based boyfriend, John Yambao or  VJ ask her to join him on the other side of the globe.

Camille and VJ,  her boyfriend of one year, are so serious with their relationship, the actress doesn’t mind going back and forth from the Philippines and the US and back just to be with him.

“My priority is what will be easier for him. Siya ang  lalaki . Hindi ko pwede ipagpilitan yung sa akin just  because I have this.”

White butterfly

Camille knows VJ is the one, not only  because she saw her childhood friend’s sincerity.  She’s convinced God answered her prayers by sending her a sign at the most suitable time.

“Sabi ko,  puting bulaklak, putting damit.  Kahit ano, basta puti.”
Out of the blue, a white butterfly circled around  Camille while she was talking to VJ over the phone.

“Naalala ko ang pinray ko. I never thought He will give it (the sign).  Nataranta ako. I got scared.”

The white butterfly is precious to Camille because it fluttered around her at the time she and her late husband were together.

Wedding bells?

But wedding bells aren’t about to ring just yet.

“We don’t have definite plans. We wanna take our time since we’re gonna be apart. He’s going  back to the States. Ako maiiwan dito.”

Camille is busy promoting “Third Eye,” where she plays someone who, like co-star Alex Vincent Medina, thirsts for human blood.
Third eye issues

If you want to help lost souls or if you want to talk to a loved one again, Camile is all for having a third eye. Otherwise, she’d rather do without it.

Why rock the boat when you’re doing fine?

Camille and VJ are ready to take their relationship to the next level.  Her son Nathan is close to the guy.

She would rather leave the horror movies where it belongs – on the big screen.

Camille’s co-stars, Carla Abellana, Denise Laurel, Alex Vincent Medina, agree.
They don't want to make their lives complicated by developing a third eye that will make them see the unseen.

It's downright creepy, and unecessary for these stars who've had enough of  ghots on spirits in Regal Entertainment's new movie directed by Aloy Adlawan.
