Kapamilya Star Devon Seron Gets Biggest Break As The Possessed Taong Grasa Who Will Terrorize Her Co-Stars In The Horror Flick 'Pwera Usog'
WE WERE THERE when Mother Lily Monteverde and daughter Roselle signed up Devon Seron to a movie contract with Regal a couple of months ago and she couldn't help but cry for the opportunity they gave her. Now, her first movie, "Pwera Usog", is in the can and about to be shown on March 8.
"Our family is from Cebu at mahirap lang po kami roon," she says. "When I joined PBB and became 4th placer, nagkaroon ako ng mga trabaho sa ABS-CBN kaya pinaluwas ko na ang family ko rito sa Manila. That was in 2010.
In "Pwera Usog", she plays the pivotal role of Luna, a taong graza on whom the barkada of Sofia Andres and company play a deadly prank, leading to some terrifying complications when Devon get possessed by the evil enchantress, Catalina, played by Eula Valdes.
