Watch below:
Lights off, a shot in the dark We get lost when we’re playing a part We lay blame like we know what’s best It’s a shame…
We break when we fall too hard Lose faith when we’re torn apart Don’t say you’re too far gone It’s a shame It’s a shame
I’m still standing here No I didn’t disappear Now the lights are on See I was never gone I let go of your hand To help you understand With you all along Oh, I was never gone
There’s space between our lives Hard to face, but I know we try To revive, bring it back to life Don’t walk away Don’t walk away
I’m still standing here No I didn’t disappear Now the lights are on See I was never gone I let go of your hand To help you understand With you all along Oh, I was never gone
I never ever left you Never ever left you, no. He said I never ever left you Never ever left you, no. Jesus never ever left you Never ever left you, no. He sees us, even in the darkness Now you know you’re not alone.
I’m still standing here No I didn’t disappear Now the lights are on See I was never gone I let go of your hand To help you understand With you all along Oh, I was never gone
I’m still standing here No I didn’t disappear Now the lights are on See I was never gone I let go of your hand To help you understand With you all along Oh, I was never gone

Two Metro Filmfest Withdraw, To Be Replaced By 'Boy Golden' & 'Let's Take A Chance'
STAR CINEMA withdrew their Metro Manila Filmfest entry, the big screen version of their hit TV show “Be Careful with My Heart”, due to the difficulty of scheduling their stars who are still taping for the daily soap. This is the second entry to withdraw from the festival after Bong Revilla’s also chose not to field anymore his “My Super Kap”, which is good since with the Napoles-PDAF case he’s currently embroiled in, no doubt his movie would suffer.
The movies that will replace the ones that backed out are “Boy Golden” by ER Estregan, now to be directed by Chito Rono, and Regal’s romantic comedy, “Let’s Take a Chance”, starring Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez, with JC De Vera. But it’s now almost October, and with Chito Rono known to be a meticulously slow director, would they be able to finish shooting the movie in time for its early December deadline? As we all know, Chito wasn’t even able to finish on time his own Sineng Pambansa entry, “Badil”, which was shown later in SM Cinemas.
As for the Regal entry, it’ll be directed by Jun Lana, who’s getting married next month in New York to TV5 exec Percival Intalan. Would he also still have time to finish shooting the movie while still on honeymoon?
The six remaining filmest entries as of now are “Sampung Libong Oras” starring Robin Padilla, Mylene Dizon, Marki Stroem and Alden Richards; “San Pedro Calungsod” with Rocco Nacino and Christian Vasquez, “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” with Vice Ganda, Gabby Concepcion and Maricel Soriano; “Pagpag” with Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo; “Kimmy Dora, the Prequel” with Eugene Domingo and Sam Milby; and “My Little Bossings” with Vic Sotto, Kris Aquino, Bimby and Ryzza Mae Dizon. They only have three more months to finish shooting their respective entries. Good luck to the coming filmfest. May it be as successful as the previous one.

Dingdong Dantes Leads Philippines' 1st Apocalyptic Series "Genesis"
Dingdong Dantes Leads Philippines' 1st Apocalyptic Series "Genesis"
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes is going to star in an upcoming primetime series which is scheduled to replace the controversial “My Husband’s Lover” come October.
The series entitled “Genesis” is mainly drama with a bit of science fiction (sci-fi). In the story, a large asteroid is approaching Earth, endangering the lives of all of its inhabitants. But even before that happens, Earth is already on the brink of an apocalypse due to natural calamities (e.g. tsunamis, typhoons, etc.). Chaos is everywhere and death tolls are rising. How people go about their business during these trying times is the pivot of the series.
In “Genesis,” Dingdong portrays a member of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) whose main mission is to protect the supreme leader of the land at all costs. In his performance of his duty, he comes across danger brought about by crime and calamities. In the end, he will have to choose between saving the lives of others or his own.
“Kasi dito sa Genesis napag-uusapan din yung mga corruption issues, it’s a struggle kung paano lumaban ng patas at tama sa kabila ng kaguluhan. Kaya narerelate din sa totoong buhay ang show na ito,” Dingdong said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.
“Basically, drama talaga siya. Ito ay tungkol sa pagkakaroon ng pag-asa sa kabila ng mga delubyo, mga problemang hinaharap ng isang tao,” the actor added.
“Genesis” is a reunion project of Dingdong and Rhian Ramos, who was the actor’s leading lady in the Philippine adaptation of the Korean series, “Stairway to Heaven.” It is also the second time for Dingdong and veteran actress Lorna Tolentino to work together in a series. The first one was in “Pahiram ng Sandali,” wherein they were paired in a May-December love affair.
“Genesis” is set to air its pilot episode on October 14 on GMA Telebabad.
Megan Young to Dance "Singkil" in Miss World 2013 Dances of The World
Megan Young to Dance "Singkil" in Miss World 2013 Dances of The World
Not just she was selected as one of the 11 finalists in the Beach Fashion competition of Miss World 2013 out of the 125 competing beauties, Megan Young was also chosen to perform the Filipino-Muslim dance "Singkil" during the Dances of The World event of Miss World in Indonesia.
Megan shared the news on Friday in a post on the official Facebook page of Miss World Philippines, which she has used to chronicle her participation in the preliminary activities of the international pageant.
"We rehearsed for Dances of the World. I'm proud to say that I was chosen to showcase my dance from the Philippines! I'll be showcasing a dance called Singkil. I am very, very happy because I get to share this Filipino-Muslim dance to the WORLD," the Kapamilya beauty queen said.
For her Singkil performance, Megan was trained by choreographer Carlos Buendia, Jr.
Originating from Lanao del Sur, the Singkil is a popular Maranao dance whose name is derived from the bells worn on the ankles of a Muslim princess. The performance is said to recount the epic legend of "Darangan."
It is characterized by a female dancer, traditionally of royal blood, carrying fans, while accompanied by a female "servant" with an umbrella. The dance is also known for the rhythmic clapping of bamboo poles, which the "princess" navigates as if to escape a natural catastrophe.

Patrick Wilson Possessed in “Insidious: Chapter 2”
Patrick Wilson Possessed in “Insidious: Chapter 2”
Patrick Wilson marks his third back-to-back collaboration with acclaimed horror director James Wan with Sony Pictures' scary thriller “Insidious: Chapter 2” which continues the story of the Lambert family’s life-and-death struggle with malignant spirits bent on destroying their lives.
In addition to the 2011 original “Insidious,” Wilson also starred in Wan’s recent global hit “The Conjuring.”
The first “Insidious” centered on the troubles of the Lamberts, a suburban family who leave their haunted house for a new home, only to learn it’s not their house that is haunted - it’s their eldest son. “Insidious: Chapter 2” rejoins the family as they try to put their recent troubles behind them, but discover that the spirits that have tormented them are far from finished.
Wilson reprises the character of Josh Lambert who is hardly the same person he was in the first film. “He’s literally vacant because he’s possessed,” explains the actor. “We know that he’s possessed, but will his wife, Renai find out? It’s structured like a murder mystery with this husband and wife not getting along and her trying to figure out why that is. She wants to believe her husband, but he’s acting bizarrely.”
In fact, Wilson’s character is so different that it’s essentially a new role for the actor, says co-screenwriter Leigh Whannell. “Patrick had such a good role and a good time because he’s actually not playing Josh Lambert from the first film, and he really took to that. He ate it up. He couldn’t get enough of it and he really contributed so much to making the film work with his character.”
Indeed, Wilson says he relished playing the Lambert father under the control of a sinister spirit. “For me, those moments when I’m ‘possessed Josh’ and mowing through doors and walls are the most fun,” he recalls. “It’s a great release.”
Wilson says he was never a big fan of horror films that reveled in gore, but has always responded to those that focus on more human elements. “It was those films that didn’t rely on a lot of tricks that terrified me as a kid,” he remembers. “They were human stories. And that’s what interested me with this film. It feels like an adult drama played out as a horror movie, and it also has humorous elements. For me, whether it’s a horror movie, an action movie, a comedy, whatever, you have to care about the people. And specifically in a horror movie you have to be rooting for people, especially when they’re a family in peril.”
The actor praises director James Wan for his ability to move beyond genre tropes and create a character-driven horror film.
“He can construct these scares and knows this genre better than anyone,” Wilson says. “He’s just one of the most creative filmmakers we have. I wouldn’t work with him so much if I didn’t feel that, and I’m lucky that he wants to work with me. Most of all, he understands that in order for people to get invested in these characters you have to let them breathe; you have to hear their story.”
Opening across the Philippines on September 18, “Insidious: Chapter 2” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International. Visit www.columbiapictures.com.ph to see the latest trailers, get free downloads and play free movie games.
