TV5’s 1st Quarter Surge Brings More More More!


TV5 paints the town red with its surge of exciting new programs that offer more entertainment, more heart-warming drama, more amusement, more laughter, more information, more public service, more reality, more prizes and more habit-forming fun that will definitely make viewers want to come back for more!

There’s more to see on TV5 now that the Kapatid Network beefs up its programming grid with a notable lineup of new primetime, afternoon, morning and weekend offerings.


Good Morning Club

Start the day right with the latest news and amusing features from the fun morning barkada of Good Morning Club, hosted by Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim, Martin Andanar, Amy Perez, Chiqui Roa-Puno, Tintin Bersola-Babao, Lucky Mercado, Pat Fernandez, Makata Tawanan, Shalala and April “Congrats” Gustillo. Good Morning Club airs weekdays at 5:00am-7:30am on TV5 with simulcast on Aksyon TV.


Valiente

TV5 goes all-out on primetime with back-to-back drama series that are bound to get viewers hooked every night. The Pinoy classic Valiente makes its grand comeback with a powerhouse cast led by JC De Vera, Oyo Sotto, Nadine Samonte, Nina Jose, Gina Alajar, Mark Gil, Jaclyn Jose and the original Valiente himself, Michael De Mesa.


Nandito Ako

International singing sensation David Archuleta of American Idol becomes a certified Kapatid as he topbills the network’s second mini-serye offering Nandito Ako, with TV5’s homegrown primetime princesses Jasmine Curtis Smith and Eula Caballero, along with Gelli De Belen, Aiko Melendez, G Tongi, Alwyn Uytingco, Ana Capri, Ana Feleo, Joseph Bitangcol, RS Francisco, David Bianco, Byron Ortile and Ms. Perla Bautista.

Valiente and Nandito Ako air back-to-back on TV5’s Primetime Panalo from Monday to Friday.


Felina Prinsesa ng Mga Pusa

TV5 makes its grand venture into weekday afternoon drama with the back-to-back airing of two must-see dramaseryes, Felina and Isang Dakot na Luha. Felina features TV5 primetime princess Arci Muñoz in the title role as a kind-hearted lass whose only wish is for people to love and accept her despite her cat-like appearance. Leandro Muñoz, Ahron Villena, Carla Humphries, Pilita Corales, Bing Loyzaga, Angel Jacob, Bearwin Meily, Epi Quizon, Mura and Jestoni Alarcon complete the cast of Felina.


Isang Dakot na Luha

Isang Dakot na Luha presents a tear-jerking drama that is sure to touch the hearts of viewers of every age. Portraying the endearing and remarkable characters of Isang Dakot na Luha are Alice Dixson, Jay Manalo, Glydel Mercado, Danita Paner, Lianne Valentin, Junyka Santarin, Daria Ramirez, Jenny Miller, Elvis Gutierrez, Edgar Allan Guzman and Karel Marquez.
The two new afternoon dramaseryes both premiere this February 27, with Felina airing at 3:00pm and Isang Dakot na Luha following at 3:30pm.


Toink! Sino ang Tama?

Sundays become even more packed with excitement with three new programs offering more prizes, suspense and belly-aching laughter. Hosted by Alex Gonzaga and Chris Tiu, comedy gameshow Toink! Sino ang Tama? airs at 2:00pm every Sunday.


Kapitan Awesome

At 2:30pm (starting on February 20), viewers will surely enjoy a hilarious take on the superhero myth with the premiere of Kapitan Awesome, featuring Martin Escudero, Empoy, Andrew E., Alwyn Uytingco, Aki Torio, Alchris Galura, Stephanie Sol, Shy Carlos and Morisette Amon.


The Biggest Game Show in the World Asia

Airing on Sundays at 9:00pm, The Biggest Game Show in the World Asia is the grandest reality game show wherein a team of 30 Filipino contestants battle it out with contestants from three other Asian countries in a series of physical and mental challenges that will test their strength, endurance and teamwork.
