TV5 Bags Anvil Award
TV5′s online news portal, www.InterAksyon.com marked its first anniversary with an Anvil Award of Merit in the Digital-Website category at the “47th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal” held recently at the Isla Ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel.
One year after it was added to TV5’s news platforms, InterAksyon has been given five recognitions by different award giving bodies. These include the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines’ (IMMAP) Boomerang Award for Innovation for the site’s TV5-MMDA Traffic Navigator or TNAV, the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) Philippine Quill Award for Excellence for the “InterAksyon.com: Saan man, Kailan man, Kapatid” campaign, the Media in Migration Journalism Award for its reportage on labor migration issues, and the Cyberpress IT Awards’ IT Product of the Year.
Present to receive the Anvil Award were (shown in photo) InterAksyon.com editor-in-chief Roby Alampay, managing editors Lourdes Molina-Fernandez and Jaemark Tordecilla, and senior editor Nonoy Espina.
Given by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards is an annual recognition of the country’s best communication tools and campaigns.
