“As much as possible, I’ll stick to the way I’ve always been. I don’t discuss masyado yung mga personal na details kasi naisip ko, I have other things to talk about to share with people,” the 27-year-old actress told members of the press.
Although Bianca knows she is of age to start a family, the “Broken Vow” star said she sees herself married “no sooner than 30.”
“If only I could have a baby tomorrow, I’ll have a baby tomorrow. Wala kasi akong kapatid e. And when I graduated from college, ang dami kong ka-batch na may anak na, na buntis na, na may asawa na. Naisip ko, ‘kailan kaya ako?’ But I can’t,” Bianca shared.
She added, “Syempre, yung buhay nila is iba sa buhay ko. With the type of profession that I have, it’s not that easy. Maraming mawawala sa akin, e.”
Bianca, who recently finished her filmmaking degree at the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, said she wants to enjoy being single first.
“Gusto ko muna ma-maximize. Naka-set talaga yung goals sa akin, for myself. But if it happens, kung sabihin ni Lord na oras na, e di oras na,” she explained. “Pero if I would have my way talaga, gusto ko planado lahat.”
‘Acting is my life’
One of the things Bianca is enjoying now is her recent success as a lead actress in the Kapuso network.
Since her first lead role in the afternoon drama “Sinner or Saint” and now with “Broken Vow,” Bianca has become one of GMA-7’s go-to leading ladies.
“Mas nage-enjoy ako kasi lead na yung roles ko e. Dahil lead na yung roles ko ngayon, parang nakaka-focus talaga ako. My attention is not divided,” she said. “It’s like a full-time job now. Before kasi nung nagsu-support ako, ang dami kong pahinga sa set.”
Bianca added, “Acting is like my life now. Pag wala kaming taping, may workshops kami. Pag wala naman yun, I dance on Sundays, sa ‘Party Pilipinas.’ Show business is really my profession ngayon. Hindi siya like before na ginagawa ko for fun, ginagawa ko to earn a little money while I was in school.”
Being typecast in mature roles isn’t a big deal for Bianca, although she added her next project is more child-friendly—the upcoming primetime drama “Luna Blanca.”
“Ang daming nagsasabi sa akin niyan before, before I accepted ‘Broken Vow.’ Sabi ko, ‘well, kung yun talaga ang binibigay sa akin, hindi naman big deal yun sa akin.’ If that’s what they’re giving me, I’m happy I’m being given work,” she said.
