“Hello. Good morning, Manila! Home sweet home,” Zsa Zsa tweeted on Friday, September 7.
It will be recalled that Zsa Zsa left for the US last August to get a second opinion about a tumor the size of a golf ball in her kidney. Doctors diagnosed that she had Stage 1 kidney cancer. But she was relieved to find out that the tumor was benign after she underwent nephrectomy. This means she has no cancer after all.
“When I was diagnosed with cancer, immediately ang papasok sa utak mo as a mother, you have to be strong for your family. Nung benign sabi ko, ‘Oh my God!’ Ang tagal ng reaction ko, it was a slow process, ang tagal bago mag-sink in,” she said in an interview in TV Patrol on Friday, September 7.
For her, surviving the ordeal is “a sign for a miracle for me because of all of the prayers.”
Zsa Zsa also shared that she draws strength from memories of Dolphy, whom she calls “Lovey.”
“(Sabi ko) 'Lovey, we're going in na, okay? Hold my hand.’ I don't know if it was just me, but I felt a little bit of tingle here, sa tatlong fingers ko. And for me, it was a good sign that he was there,” Zsa Zsa recalled.
The singer-actress only revealed her health condition to the public over a month after Dolphy passed away.
