The actress-TV host, who discovered her singing abilities late last year via several brave outings in the hit noontime show "It's Showtime," is kicking off a world tour starting with a live performance at Chater Garden in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Curtis is no doubt thrilled over the new development in her career.
"I don't know how long this is going to be, but I'm just so happy," she told ABS-CBN News recently. "I just feel really, really blessed."
According to the actress, the concert is an offshoot of her her first solo concert, "Annebisyosa" held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in January this year, which proved to be a hit.
The concert was followed by several others held in Davao, Cebu, Iloilo and Baguio.
Though hesitant to bare future concert schedules, Curtis maintained that "there are inquiries as early as now for next year from [other cities] abroad."
Curtis went on to thank her fans for their continued support, which allowed her to establish herself as a bankable performer of note, particularly with her debut album released in September last year already certified platinum.
"The year 2011 was already an amazing year. But this year, 2012, is even better," she said.
With her numerous high-profile endorsements, blockbuster movies, a successful TV show and a Hollywood film underway, the actress said that she just couldn't "wish for anything else."
"Because it'll be super selfish," she explained. "Of course I still have goals and dreams that I want to pursue, but I don't want to wish for it."
Not that she's about to rest on her laurels.
"I'll [continue to] make it happen by myself [through hard work]," she said. By wanderer || Full Story: Kapamilyalogy
