“Independent na kaming dalawa ni Lauren. I want her to learn on her own as a young adult. She’s a young adult. Pareho kami, we had to grow up fast because we had to grow up on our own na wala ang parents namin, kaming dalawa lang,” Megan said in an interview at the press conference of ABS-CBN’s primetime drama “A Beautiful Affair.”
She’s mum about Lauren’s rumored transfer from ABS-CBN to GMA 7.
“Regarding sa work ko and sa work ni Lauren, I’m more focused on what’s happening with me. With regard to Lauren, wala naman akong update regarding that,” Megan explained.
She knows all about the issue though, but doesn’t want to speak for her sister.
“Ayaw kong mag-assume, kasi baka mamaya nagsabi ako na hindi naman pala tama. Ayaw kong pangunahan ang ibang tao pagdating sa ganoon.”
Are there ongoing talks between Lauren and GMA 7?
“Well, tignan natin. Dealings kasi niya iyon and wala naman ako doon kung siya yung nakikipagusap kung sino man or kanino man,” Lauren replied.
Bea-John Lloyd fan
Megan is part of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo’s new TV drama “A Beautiful Affair.” This is the second time that she is working with the tandem (the first was in “Betty La Fea.)”
“For me to work with John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo is a huge part of my career. And to work with them twice already, iba na iyon. Sobrang kinikilig ako kasi Basha and popoy fan ako from One More Chance. Fan talaga ako ng team-up nila,” Megan shared.
She doesn’t mind playing support even if she has experienced being a lead actress.
“I don’t think that should be something I will feel something less about myself. My acting coach always na there are no small role, just small actors. Paano kung bida ka pero hindi naman maganda yung pagportray mo ng pagkabida. May mga roles, tulad ng role ko na si Ava, pwede mo kasing i-build up iyon,” Megan said.
