Ang buhay paggising mo may laban ka," Bayani said during the press conference of Star Cinema’s “One More Try” on Wednesday.
As early now, film enthusiasts are predicting Aunor to bag the Best Actress award for her performance in Brillante Mendoza's "Thy Womb."
For their part, Panganiban and Locsin, while agreeing that Aunor is a great actress, said they also stand a chance of winning.
"Yes, may laban kami. Naniniwala kami na may himala," Panganiban said.
In the interview, Bayani was also confident to say that "One More Try" is better that his blockbuster hit "No Other Woman," which starred Cristine Reyes and Anne Curtis.
"The pressure is always there but I tell you this is a better movie than 'No Other Woman.' I will say this it's my best movie so far," Bayani declared.
"Both movies are special but I must say na noong binuo ko siya and then they will put 'a film by Ruel Bayani' for the first time saka lang ako pumayag," he said.
Like other Metro Manila Film Festival entries, Bayani also believes that they will do well at the box office.
"Nakita ko na ang mga films, I must say what an honor to be in this batch of entries. ...Naniniwala kami at pinapanindingan namin ang aming mga pelikula at naniniwala kami this is the best movie. Bakit naman namin sasabibin na we are second best," he said.
“One More Try,” which also stars Zanjoe Marudo and Dingdong Dantes, opens in theaters nationwide on December 25. By wanderer || Full Story: Kapamilyalogy
