Kim Chiu and Xian Lim Now Put to Blockbuster Stars Status
Following the huge success of their recent romantic-comedy movie "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?" Kim Chiu and Xian Lim now join John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, Angel Locsin, Vice Ganda, Derek Ramsay, Anne Curtis, to name a few, in the list of Philippine showbiz' blockbuster royalties.
Star Cinema’s 20th anniversary offering starring Kim and Xian surpassed the P100-million mark on its 3rd week of screening according to a report by third party tabulator Box Office Mojo. The said movie now became the 3rd Filipino movie to surpass the P100-million mark at the box office for the year 2013. It placed 4th last week behind “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,” which ruled the local box-office race for second consecutive weeks, “The Internship” (#2) and “Kick Ass 2″ (#3).
