I've reached a point na whatever life is going to offer me, I'm going to take it wholeheartedly. When that time finally happens and when that comes, that's something I'm going to embrace wholeheartedly,” Toni said at the press conference of “Home Sweetie Home,” her new sitcom with John Lloyd Cruz.
Toni admitted she prevented Paul from popping the question during the early years of their relationship because she wasn’t ready yet. But she has changed her mind.
Toni feels that at 29, she’s at the right age to settle down and have her own family. She also shared that she isn’t bound by any contract, which hinders her from marrying anytime soon.
No one and nothing is stopping. We are waiting for God's perfect time and the ball is really not on my court, it's in his court.”
Toni and Paul’s relationship has been ongoing for six years.
Secrets of staying in love
“Yung commitment, loyalty and honesty ang binuo namin kaya siguro tumagal kami,” Toni said.
If Toni was busy last year with “The Voice of the Philippines,” she has returned to acting this year via “Home Sweetie Home.” Besides the new sitcom, Toni doesn’t know yet what her goals are for this year.
“I will just let it go. I will just go with whatever He's going to give or bless me. Wala akong ipaplano this year. His plans are always better than mine.”
“Home Sweetie Home” casts Toni and John Lloyd as newlyweds.
“This project came at the right age.
