R and B superstar Chris Brown failed to make it to the Philippines. His reason? He lost his passport.
Maligaya Development Corporation (MDC), which manages The Philippine Arena, the event of Chris Brown concert, announced that Brown won't be seen in the concert because he lost his passport.
"The local representative of Chris Brown and we were informed that Chris is still in Los Angeles because according to them Chris Brown lost his passport the day before the scheduled scheduled event," said MDC via a statement.
Brown also expressed his dismay over the incident via his Twitter account saying he will see Philippines in Spring.

Organizers No Fault
Pinnacle Live Concepts, the local agency in charge of bringing Brown in the country said the singer tried his best to fly during the evening.
“It is with heavy hearts that he is unable to attend and he has tried his physical best to fly over for the evening. We are currently in communication with the venue and exploring all options to address this cancellation,” Pinaccle said.
“(Brown) apologizes for the setback and this non-appearance no way reflects the management and operations of MDC. MDC has no fault on this matter. We hope to amicably come to terms on how we proceed next,” The Pinnacle added.
Atty. Anthony Garcia, the legal counsel of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), the owner of The Philippine Arena, said they are now looking for legal remedies to “protect the interest of the ticket holders.”
