It's been a year since Jam Sebastian, of the popular Youtube tandem "JaMich" was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, and together with his family and his Mich, Paolinne Michelle Liggayu, he has been trying to battle its spread.

However, on January 31, Yexel, Jam's older brother, via Startalk shared that his younger brother already wanted to give up.
"Nagsend siya ng text sa amin, sabi niya na i-consider yung mercy killing kasi nahihirapan na raw siya," said Yexel.
Mrs. Maricar Sebastian, the mother, disagreed and said to him that they will never give up. She wanted him to continue with his battle.
According to her, "Binasa ko ito (yung text) at umiyak ako, sabi ko, 'anak, lahat ng gusto mo, dati hihingiin mo at ibibigay ko pero this time hindi. Hindi ko 'to ibibigay. Hindi tayo sususko.'" said Mrs. Sebastian.
Mrs. Sebastian added that they spent 10 days at the hospital explaining that Jam could not go through the next round of treatment until he gained enough strength.
"Nasa ospital po kami ngayon, mag-te-ten days na kami. Uh supposed to be two weeks ago pa yung another chemo niya tapos sabi niya magpapalakas daw muna siya bago siya magpatreatment. So until now, mag-te-ten days na kami dito, walang treatment ang ginagawa sa kanya, kahit bp ayaw niya, vital signs, dextrose ayaw niya," she said.
