The show opened in Broadway in 2005 and is still running. It traces how the hit doo wop boyband of the 60s, Four Seasons, was formed. Then we see its rise to stardom and subsequent break up, told from the diverging viewpoints of its own four members who each gives his personal perspective of what happened: four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form an iconic musical act.
The musical's most popular songs are "(You're Just Too Good To Be True) Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Sherry," "Walk Like A Man," "Working My Way Back to You," "My Eyes Adored You," and "December 1963 (Oh What a Night).
Leading the cast is Nyoy Volante in the coveted role of Frankie Valli, the lead vocalist of the Four Seasons. Playing the role of singer-songwriter/keyboardist Bob Gaudio, the last member to join the group, is Asian Pop Superstar Christian Bautista. "The Voice" finalist Nino Alejandro plays the role of Nick Massi, bass player who has a good ear for vocals and helps train Frankie in his singing. Markki Stroem in the role of Tommy DeVito, who helped start the group as the Varietones, goes in and out of prison and later leaves the band because of his debts with a loan shark.
Also in the big powerhouse cast are Jamie Wilson, Bibo Reyes, Nelsito Gomez, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, Yanah Laurel, Giannina Ocampo-Van Hoven , Altair Alonso, Steven Conde, Rhenwyn Gabalonzo, Emeline Carmela Guinid, Kendrick Ibasco, Gab Medina, and Timmy Pavino, directed by Bobby Garcia.
