Yema cake queen Remilly Co did not have much growing up and as an adult she would sell whatever can help her earn for her family in Divisoria.
This Tuesday (November 8) on "My Puhunan," she will share how she did not let poverty get the better of her when Karen Davila pays a visit to her yema cake factory.
A daughter of vegetable vendors, Remilly put her early interest in business to good use, learning how to bake and then specializing in making yema cake. It did not take long before Remilly's sweet creation gained popularity that she was able to build a factory for her business and even give employment to other people, while providing her family a comfortable life. From a capital of P170-190, she is now able to sell cakes at P300 each, and selling them out at the same time.
Be inspired and amazed by Remilly's perserverance to break the bonds of poverty on the award-winning ABS-CBN current affairs program "My Puhunan" this Tuesday (November 8) at 9:30pm on DZMM Teleradyo, and after "Bandila" on ABS-CBN.
