Coleen Garcia Considers It A Challenge To Be Villain To Kim Chiu In 'Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin', All Set To Wed Billy Crawford In April Next Year

COLEEN GARCIA plays contravida to Kim Chiu in "Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin" that starts airing this Monday before "Showtime". Why did she agree to do it when she's already doing lead roles in both movies and TV soaps? "Actually, noon ko pa gusto gumawa ng contravida roles, para maiba naman," she says. "As an actress, gusto ko palagi ng bago, ibang role, different from the past roles I've done before, so sobrang masaya ako rito sa 'Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin'. Maganda ang role ko as Isabelle, ex-girlfriend ni Jake Cuenca as Carlos. We both work ni Jake in the same company making energy drinks and I resented it nang kunin niya si Kim na endorser and I will try to make Kim's life miserable. I'm sure magagalit sa akin ang fans niya rito."

About her boyfriend, Billy Crawford, can she truly feel and say na "siya lang ang iibigin" nito? "Oo naman. Nag-propose na nga siya at ikakasal na kami next year. Our target is April next year para one year ang preparation. Magse-seminar na nga kami sa church as marriage preparation. Hindi naman ako magye-yes sa kanya kung hindi ko napi-feel kundi niya sinabi sa'king 'Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin'. I've realized now how much of a commitment marriage is. But I'm really happy kasi he's very supportive naman sa pagiging committed ko pa rin sa career ko. Kasi nabibigyan ko pa rin naman ng oras ang work ko, which is very important to my heart also. So masasabi kong as much as iniibig ko ang future husband ko, iniibig ko pa rin naman ang trabaho ko."

So she's really ready to be Mrs. Crawford? "Yes, I'm excited about it! And I'm happy!"
