At the press conference of her new TV fantaserye “Wako Wako,” Ai-Ai refused to divulge her boyfriend’s name, saying that he respects her, so she also wants to respect him in return.
Unti-untiin natin. Huwag natin siyang biglain sa show business. Nirerespeto niya ako at nirerespeto ko siya,” Ai-Ai said at a press conference in 55 Events Place in Quezon City on Thursday, March 1.
Pressed further about the guy’s name, Ai Ai joked, “FPJ— Feeling Parang Jowa.”
The proper time
She promised to introduce him “at the proper time.”
Does she think the concept of “Wako Wako”–which grants wishes and expects its beneficiaries to give something in exchange–apply in her life?
"Siguro maa-apply yun kasi, hindi ba, sabi nila, ‘Kapag okay yung " career mo, minsan kapalit lovelife?
But she hopes the same thing doesn’t apply to her career and love life, since Ai Ai wants to be happy in both.
Sana maging maganda ang kakalabasan and sana dumating ang panahon na maging matagal kami (referring to her boyfriend).”
Ai-Ai clarified that the guy has not popped the question yet since they’re still getting to know each other more.
On remarrying
Does she see herself tying the knot again?
“Bakit naman hindi?,” she beamed.
While Ai-Ai admitted that she is open to the idea of marriage, she understands that a relationship has its ups and downs.
She adds that her children–Sofia, Niccolo, and Sancho–approve of her boyfriend. And she respects their opinion.
So, sabi niya, 'Mukhang proper,'” Ai Ai said.
Direk Wenn
Ai-Ai is excited to be back on primetime TV, but she is doing a fantaserye this time.
She is happy working with director Wenn Deramas again. Their past projects are “Tanging Ina,” “BFF: Best Friends Forever”and Volta, among others.
Feel at home ako.”
Ai Ai, who plays Dyosa Marishka in the series, reports that her new series is something kids will enjoy. She also likes how this is a good break for her after the heavy drama “Binondo Girl.”
“Wako Wako” also stars Yogo Singh, Vandolph Quizon, Gladys Reyes, Maricar de Mesa, Malou de Guzman, Dennis Padilla, Carlos Agassi, Abby Bautista, Markki Stroem, Lizel Garcia, Eagle Riggs, DJ Durano and Franco Daza. It starts airing Monday, March 5 before “TV Patrol.”
