Compared to the other coaches and hosts of "The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles," Matteo Guidicelli still doesn't have a female workout partner.
The actor says he usually works out with his dad and coach. Apparently, he still has to "influence" rumored girlfriend Sarah Geronimo to workout with him.
"Never pa kaming nag-workout ni Sarah together," admitted Matteo.
He added that he would definitely try and influence his "future partner in life" to join him someday.
"I also want to influence her in fitness programs. I would like her to run, bike and swim like me. I also want my partner in life to be sexy," intimated Matteo.
Matteo is still mum on the real status of his relationship with Sarah.
He explained that he couldn't give a definite answer even if he wanted to because of many reasons: respect for other people and respect for Sarah. Then again, he stressed that he is "very happy."
Matteo's longing to workout with a female friend was probably heightened by his new job as a Challenge Master in ABS-CBN's "Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles."
He, along with host Iza Calzado and husband and wife coaches Jim and Toni Saret have witnessed the dynamics involved in the show and Matteo said he has realized the importance of having someone push, inspire and motivate you to reach your goals.
He remarked, "We have exciting challenges and we always push our contestants to their limits. There were a lot of times that some of our contestants wanted to quit but we're there to remind them why they are in 'Biggest Loser' and why they're doing what they're doing. In return they give their 100%!"
Like his coach in triathlon, Matteo wants to succeed in motivating the 14 pairs to work harder to improve and transform themselves from being obese to being fit and healthy.
He also deemed the show "very personal," relating how he has developed a strong bond with the contestants.
"We got connected. So in their journeys we weren't just coaches, we also became friends," Matteo said. "The show is really personal and I hope everybody could relate to them and feel for every contestants. There's really an emotional connection. If they cry you can't help but feel for them. It's really a touching show!"
"The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles" starts airing tonight at the primetime block of ABS-CBN.
