"Lahat ng dramang hindi ko nagawa since I started doing comedy, ibinuhos ko na rito," he says. "Princess Punzalan appears as my mentor in the story and I have to make sure na ginagalingan ko ang acting ko kapag kaeksena ko siya kasi nakaka-pressure ang husay niya bilang aktres. Si Cheksa Diaz naman plays my mother at may eksenang sinampal niya ako. Ako pa ang nagsabi sa kanyang totohanin niya ang sampal para doon ko mahugot ang tamang emosyong kailangan sa eksena. I'm really thankful to our writer-director, Cesar Evangelista Buendia, for getting me to play this very beautiful role. "
Now 32 years old, the former child actor is now also a dad to his baby daughter named Lily Feather. "Yung paglabas ng baby ko, it changed my life. When I'm at work, gusto ko umuwi agad just to be with her. Hindi ko ma-explain the happiness I feel when I'm with her. It's a magical feeling."

"Diyos-Diyosan" will open in May 4, along with two other big local films: "This Time" with JaDine and "Just the Three of Us" with John Lloyd Cruz.
