Unlike the title of his new soap opera “Broken Vow,” Marco Alcaraz's three-year relationship with Precious Lara Quigaman is solid. They are set to exchange wedding vows this October.
They plan to have their dream wedding in a beach resort. Marco said they have found the perfect beach resort venue for their wedding in Nasugbu, Batangas.
“Maraming nagsasabing unbelievable na magpapakasal na ako. Pero sabi ko sa sarili ko na nang nakita ko yung babaeng gusto kong makasama habang buhay, bakit pa ako pipili ng iba?” Marco intimated.
He added that Lara was his long-time crush even before he courted her. He'd always watch her when she hosted “Wowowee” and “That's My Doc.”
Blessed and happy
“Sobrang blessed and happy ako. Hindi lang siya beauty queen, mabait pa at sobrang alaga ako,” shared Marco.
They don’t plan to have child right after they get married. According to Marco, they want to enjoy each other’s company first. At the same time, they would save up money for their future child.
“Siyempre we want the best for our babies,” commented Marco.
Showbiz is a realm where relationship mortality is high, but Marco and Lara are keeping theirs alive and healthy. He said that the fact that they’re working in different TV networks is helping them as a couple. Another important ingredient is their utmost support for each other's careers.
“Nagtutulungan kami to bring out the best in both of us. At the same time, si Lara rin ang naglapit sa akin kay Lord. Every Sunday nakaka-pagsimba na ako. Nag-convert ako para sa kanya and part na ako ng No Walls Church,” Marco revealed.
Will he still accept “sexy roles” when he is already married?
“Kung kailangan sa role or character pwede pa rin. Hindi naman selosa si Lara basta nasa lugar lang at hindi sa mga babaeng pinagseselosan ni Lara,” he repliec.
Marco plays a police officer for the first time in “Broken Vow.” Starring Bianca King, Luis Alandy, Rochelle Pangilinan and Gabby Eigenmann, the afternoon-prime series is a GMA 7 original written by Dode Cruz and directed by Gil Tejada Jr.
