“Nakita ko na mas yumaman pa siya. Pero yung yumabang? Hindi mo iyon makikita sa kanya. Ikaw pa yung mahihiya umarte kasi parang mas wala siyang arte,” Angelica said at the press conference of their reunion movie, “Every Breath U Take” at Dolce Latte on Thursday, April 26.
She added that they have established a good working relationship (their first team-up was in the 2004 TV drama “Mangarap Ka”) and inspire each other to improve their craft.
Angelica also revealed that Piolo’s energy on the set keeps them on their toes.
Smitten
Like other girls, Angelica is smitten by Piolo’s good looks and acting talent.
Gwapo, sobrang galing umarte, talagang nakakadala.”
Angelica and Piolo treated their intimate scenes in the movie with as much professionalism as possible. Piolo, she explains, is a gentleman and took care of her on the set.
“Wala (malisya). Siyempre mahirap isipin iyon habang ginagawa (yung kissing scenes). Sobrang gentleman ni Papa P,” she shared.
Experimental
Angelica enjoys dabbling in different genres like drama, comedy and horror. On TV, Angelica displays her comedic side in “Banana Split.”
Angelica is happy that she is effective both in drama and comedy, which she finds equally challenging.
