Helmed by BB. Joyce Bernal, “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme” starring Eugene Domingo managed to add P21.2 million on its 3rd week of screening in 45 major theaters despite the presence of the much-talked about Hollywood film “The Amazing Spider-Man”.
The figures came from the third party tabulator Box Office Mojo for the opening period June 27–July 1, 2012 (click HERE to see the full figures). The said comedy-flick has now accumulated P116.87 million in ticket sales- the second local movie for 2012 to surpass the P100 million mark!
Meanwhile, Ogie Alcasid’s “Boy Pick-Up: The Movie” under GMA Films has raked P25.37 million in 4 weeks, perhaps its full run same as Angeline Quinto and Coco Martin starrer “Born To Love You” with P52.02-M gross for 5 weeks.
