But Sarah is sure she won't easily lose her "cool" when faced in a "provocative situation."
As Sarah told this writer in past interviews, "ayaw ko ng magulong buhay." So rather than touch on negative things, she shifted the conversation to what makes her feel grateful.
One of them is "24/SG", her birthday concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on July 7.
Dream concert
"I usually do one major concert a year and so excited ako. Dream concert po ang concept nito. Parang fairy tale that is more visual.
She still has no idea who her special guests will be in her so-called "modernized fairy tale-like concert."
But Sarah is all set to record a new album featuring songs she wants to showcase in her upcoming concert.
Since she’s celebrating her 10th year in showbiz next year, doesn't Sarah get tired of performing in concerts?
She doesn't even see herself quitting singing for acting despite box-office hits to her name.
"Well, so far mga roles na nagagampanan ko medyo may pagkakapareho po. In the future po sana mas challenging roles.
Concerned about fans
Sarah admits she has to consider fans when making career decisions. She thinks they won't accept her in serious roles.
Kasi baka hanap-hanapin nila yung mga dati kong roles and dapat ibigay yun sa mga fans," said Sarah, who expressed interest in doing indie films.
More than her successful career, Sarah is grateful she has a happy family.
"Thank God that I always have my family. I'm thankful na wala kaming problems, na wala kaming major, major na pinagdadaanan," she quips.
