has grown wiser in matters of the heart. Now that she’s single again,
the comedienne says the guy’s nationality is not an issue for her.
What’s important is the man respects her.
“Kahit ano, basta may respeto. Marami na akong natutunan sa buhay. Iyon
na lang ang dala-dala ko araw-araw,” Pokwang told Yahoo! Philippines
OMG!
She is happy for her friend Ai-Ai delas Alas who is in a relationship with a young businessman.
“Ako happy ako for Ms. Ai-Ai. Pero ako, malapit na siguro. Oo, magiging masaya rin ako balang araw,” Pokwang said.
She's not afraid to fall in love again.
“Okay lang, ganoon talaga. Tingnan mo yung kay Ms. A, hindi niya hinanap iyon. Pero binigay ni God.”
Going out on dates
Although her daughter allows her to go on dates, Pokwang would rather go out with friends and fellow artists.
“Sa edad niyang (daughter) 16 years old, medyo nakakaunawa na siya.
Pero, parang deadma lang siya. Lumalabas ako pero puro mga kaibigan
lang. Recently, lumabas kami nila Angel (Locsin) with the “TodaMax”
family. Kami nila Ms. Kris (Aquino), nanuod kami ng “The Healing,”” she
said.
Pokwang is elated over the box-office success of the suspense-horror
movie “The Healing,” where she stars with Vilma Santos and Kim Chiu.
Pokwang is grateful at the chance to try different genres.
“Iyon talaga sa Star Magic, ‘yung maging versatile ang mga artista. Like
si Kim, happy siya kasi hindi lang puro pa-tweetums. Sa “The Healing”
nanakot siya, nag-drama rin siya. Ibang Kim din ang ipinakita sa “The
Healing.” Iyon talaga ang(goal) ng Star Magic na lahat kami mabigyan ng
roles na hindi mo akalain na magagawa pala naming.”
