The said sexy rom-com Star Cinema film had a final box-office gross of P157.25-M (for 5 weeks). The first and only local film for 2012 (out of 13) that reached the P100-million mark as of June 24.
Placing on second spot is another Star Cinema production (with Spring Films). The sequel of the 2009 hit comedy movie “Kimmy Dora” starring Eugene Domingo. According to Box Office Mojo, “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme” has already grossed P95.6-M on its second week of screening in 120 major theaters nationwide. Huge ticket sales that brought it up to no. 2 in the list of Highest Grossing Pinoy Movies for this year.
Completing the Top 5 are “Moron 5 and the Crying Lady”, “Born to Love You” and “Corazon Ang Unang Aswang”.
