Enrique Gil Thrilled About Reuniting with Kathryn Bernardo in 'Princess and I'

Enrique Gil will be paired anew with former loveteam Kathryn Bernardo...and he is pretty much excited about it.

The two first worked together in the Star Cinema movie "Way Back Home". Now their successful tandem will return in ABS-CBN primetime series "Princess and I" with Ms. Gretchen Barretto.

“Siyempre may kanya-kanyang fans, so sana mag-work 'yung team-up namin. Acting lang naman ‘to. Pero sabi naman ng fans ng movie, ‘Uy boto kami sa ’yo para kay Kathryn.’ At least okay naman ang feedback,” Enrique said of reuniting with Kathryn.

Enrique , who is currently in Bhutan, China with Kathryn and Gretchen to shoot some scenes for the teleserye, also shared some details about this project.

“Parang Cinderella-type of story pero true to life. It’s a story of a long-lost princess [Kathryn]. Yung nanny kasi nung princess Pinay so inuwi niya sa Pilipinas yung princess. When she turns 19, babalik siya sa Bhutan tapos pagdating dun, nagkakilala kami not knowing that she's a real princess. Ako 'yung next heir to the throne pero ‘di kami related.”

Aside from “Princess and I,” Enrique will also soon be seen in the Star Cinema movie “The Reunion” with Enchong Dee, Jessy Mendiola, Xian Lim and Kean Cipriano.

Barely 1 month after the Los Angeles Superior Court granted her divorce with ex-husband Russell Brand, Katy Perry seems to have find her new "fireworks" in the arms of French model Baptiste Giabiconi.

The singer and hunky model reportedly met a year ago and recently spotted flirting in a hotel in Paris.



Baptiste, who is 5 years younger than Perry, was even quoted last year saying: “If I could make her divorce her husband, I’d marry her.”

Earthquake Philippines - MM and Mindoro Hit by 5.1 Magnitude Earthquake


A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit Occidental Mindoro and several parts of Metro Manila around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 8.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake's epicenter was recorded at East of Looc town in Occidental Mindoro.

Residents in Looc experienced Intensity IV tremors, while those in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro as well as Manila, Muntinlupa and Quezon City felt Intensity III of the quake. Intensity I was felt as far out as Lucban in Quezon.

No casualties and damages to property has been reported after the quake.

Diamond Asiansation Christian Bautista ushers in 2012 with the release of his highly-anticipated "First Class: Outbound Expanded Edition" album. Aga Muhlach discovers the great adventures in Bicol in the upcoming episodes of Pinoy Explorer on TV5.

In the first part of the two-part special, entitled ‘Isla-Amazing’, Aga goes to Camarines Sur and visits the beautiful Caramoan Islands to experience wake-boarding and mountain off-road driving.

Bicolano cuisine is a popular fare in the country and Aga gets a taste of the one-of-a kind Bicolano pizza. He also looks for the region’s talented animators and visits a group of prisoners skilled in making toy boats.

For the second part, airing on March 18, Aga visits Albay and Sorsogon in search for the biggest fish in the sea, the gentle giants called Butanding. From these friendly whalesharks, Aga tries to find the Sinarapan, the smallest edible fish. He then takes the adrenaline up a notch by riding an All-Terrain-Vehicle going to the majestic Mayon Volcano. But Aga’s biggest challenge yet is the infamous Bicol Express. Can he stand the intense spice of this delectable Bicol specialty?
