24 Oras November 22 2016 Full News Replay

SHOW DESCRIPTION: Beginning November 10, GMA News and Public Affairs - the only four-time Peabody Award recipient in the country – unveils dynamic changes in its award winning newscasts, particularly in GMA7's primetime newscast 24 Oras, late-night news source Saksi and midday news bulletin Balitanghali on GMA News TV.

24 Oras' formidable and time-tested tandem of Mel Tiangco and Mike Enriquez will welcome veteran journalist Vicky Morales as their newest co-anchor. Joining forces, they become the triumvirate to beat on primetime news.

24 Oras has been a household name since 2004 when GMA News and Public Affairs launched what would be the Kapuso Network's flagship nationwide primetime newscast. The program has since served the need of viewers for non-biased and balanced news, and later even extended broadcast to include weekends.

Monday will also see the rebranding of GMA's regional newscasts into the 24 Oras brand, delivering the news in the distinct 24 Oras style all over the country.

Late-night news source Saksi, led by Arnold Clavio, meanwhile, will have Pia Arcangel on board as its newest co-anchor. Seasoned broadcast journalist Connie Sison, on the other hand, will take over as Raffy Tima's co-anchor in the leading midday newscast Balitanghali, which airs daily on GMA News TV.

Weekend news program 24Oras Weekend will still be headlined by Jiggy Manicad and Pia Arcangel, while Mariz Umali and Jun Veneracion anchor Balitanghali Weekend.

With new anchors on board, expect these fortified news programs to continue providing the public with balanced and unbiased news.

"These changes reflect our goal to inject a new dynamism to our newscasts, while still remaining true to our commitment to Serbisyong Totoo— the hallmark of GMA News and Public Affairs," says Senior Vice President for News and Public Affairs Marissa L. Flores.

24 Oras airs from Monday to Friday at 6:30PM and Saksi at 11:00PM, while 24 Oras Weekend airs at 5:30PM every Saturday and Sunday on GMA 7. Balitanghali, meanwhile, airs weekdays at 11:30AM. Balitanghali Weekend airs at 12nn on GMA News TV.

VP Leni Robredo Is Rumored Pregnant With Baby From A Married Congressman! Read The Whole Story Here!

There have been rumors spreading that our Vice President Leni Robredo is pregnant with a baby from a married congressman.

Leni is the widow of the late DILG secretary Jesse Robredo who died in a plane crash last 2012.

The Facebook page Thinking Pinoy dropped a bomb that got the attention of many netizens. They hinted that a government official from the Liberal Party is expecting a baby soon.

While there were no names mentioned, the source posted this blind item.

“A source said a soup kitchen owner’s got a bun in the oven after getting hit by a holy bullet. #DaWho”

People instantly thought of the vice president as she is widely known as  “Lugaw Queen.”. Some speculated it could also be Senator Leila de Lima.

The identity of the “father” was said to be a married congressman.

Meanwhile, Robredo had this to say about the rumor: “Ako kasi ayoko na patulan eh. Ayoko na patulan parang insulto naman yata iyon. Nakakatawa siya, pero at the same time, parang insulto na iyon sa ating lahat na kababaihan.”

Vice Presidential spokesperson Georgina Hernandez released a separate statement elaborating on how Robredo’s camp felt about the malicious attack: “We were warned about these well-funded and well-orchestrated attacks to malign the vice president. The demolition campaign has begun. And the next logistical question is: who is behind it?”

Hernandez also added that they had complete faith in the Filipino netizens’ ability to separate fact from baseless gossip: “We have complete trust in the Filipino’s ability to discern fact from fiction, and steer clear of false news. Websites that masquerade as news sources have been fabricating these rumors, which are then spread by troll armies.”

'Nagalit Ang Buwan Sa Haba Ng Gabi' Restored Version Got Great Feedback From Viewers When Shown At Cinema One Filmfest

WE SAW THE RESTORED version of the late Danny Zialcita's "Nagalit ang Buwan sa Haba ng Gabi" in its special screening at Trinoma. It was originally shown in 1983 and, after 33 years, it still clicked very well with today's audiences who were laughing all throughout the screening as part of the Cinema One Filmfest. They just loved Zialcita's witty and humorous dialogue and hilarious situations inivolving infidelity. This was remade by Viva Films last year as "When the Love Has Gone" but sadly, the remake cannot hold a candle to the original and fails so much in comparison.

It's also obvious that ABS-CBN Restoration got a better existing copy of "Nagalit" which has better definition and brighter colors on screen compared to that of "Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos" which is so faded. The performances of the major cast members in "Nagalit" are mostly convincing, especially Laurice Guillen as the wronged wife, Dindo Fernando as the philandering husband, Gloria Diaz as the mistress who just dumped her closeted husband, played by Eddie Garcia who apparenty had much fun with the role.

The supporting players who also shone include a pubescent Janice de Belen as Laurice and Dindo's daughter, Suzanne Gonzales as Janice's doting aunt, Odette Khan as Gloria's wisecracking friend, Tommy Abuel as Laurice's ex-boyfriend who wants to get her back, Johnny Vicar as Eddie's opportunistic lover and Liza Lorena in a one-scene cameo role as a doctor who tries to convince Laurice about the benefits of taking tranquilizers. We somehow miss the movies of Danny Zialcita. No one has inherited his knack in making entertaining comedy-dramas with cleverly written, amusing dialogue about extra marital relationships.

Breaking News: Kerwin Espinosa Names 2 Senators In Office Involved In Drug Trade!

Alleged drug lord of Eastern Visayas, Kerwin Espinosa, promised to name two senators in office and other big government officials who have been receiving money related to drugs in exchange for involvement and protection.

Whistleblower Sandra Cam told reporters on Monday that the alleged drug lord will be revealing the names soon. She also shared that Espinosa admitted having delivered drug money amounting to a whopping P5.7 Million on 2015 to a senator.

“Sa isang senator, si Kerwin mismo… Ang nasabi sa ‘kin, isang P1.7 [million], isang P2 million at another P2 million, so it’s P5.7 [million],” said Cam.

She further detailed that the money given in 2015 could be traced to the months of October, November and December in the Metro and “up north.”

Although shockingly, Cam claimed that one of the senators has a clean reputation in the public eye, saying that he or she has never once been accused of receiving drug money.

“The mere fact that you accepted money from a drug lord eh ‘di naging drug protector ka na nun,” she commented.

According to Cam, she was responsible for tipping off the drug lord’s whereabouts to the authorities.

She also claimed that she had conversed personally with Espinosa during his detention in Abu Dhabi.

Arriving last week in Manila, Espinosa said he will reveal everything including the personalities who had been protecting the illegal drug operations.

“Kahindik-hindik na hindi natin kakayanin tingnan ang mga pangalan na pinangalanan niya,” said Cam.

When asked if Senator Leila De Lima was one of the senators named, Cam obscurely answered: “I don’t want to say right now na nasa listahan siya pero siya ang nagsasabi na hindi mawawala na hindi siya i-pin down. It’s coming from her mouth.”

“I can say, for now, basta malalaking tao, senador, congressmen, gobernador, mayor, general at mga may binaggit na fiscal na doon natin makikita kung gaano na katalamak ang proteksyon ng droga.”

Director Joyce Bernal Gives Her Statement on Vice Ganda And Coco Martin"s Movie NOT Being Included in MMFF

After not being included in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, the director of Vice Ganda and Coco Martin’s movie Joyce Bernal has already spoken up and gave her statement.

Last Friday, November 18, MMFF released the official list of entries which did not include Bernal’s movie. However, Bernal said that the movie was still in picture-lock when they passed it for consideration and admitted that the film is not ready for release.

“Ang picture-lock po kasi is edited siya pero hindi siya na-dub, walang music ‘yung picture-lock.”

Bernal said that with the new rule of MMFF, completing the picture-lock is okay.

“Siyempre paano ka lalaban sa mga pelikula na nabuo na talaga nila?” the director added.

She also said, “The movie was really for Metro Manila Film Festival. We wanted it for Metro Manila Film Festival. Si Coco, si Vice, t’saka ako… Pero, kung ano man ‘yung gustong gawin, because something happened last year so meron silang gustong gawin for this year na festival so parang sa akin, on my part, nirerespeto ko ‘yun. Okay sa akin ‘yun.”

Even though she regrets that their movies weren’t able to make it on the list, she said that she respects whatever the festival’s decision. She also said that the movie will be premiered soon.

Since Star Cinema already has a lineup, Director Joyce Bernal has no idea if the movie will still have its debut.

At the same time, Director Joyce Bernal said that as of today the final touches including dubbing and mixing have already been finished.

De Lima Warned Drug Lords Kerwin and Jaybee: You"ll get killed

Sen. Leila de Lima predicted that Kerwin Espinosa and Jaybee Sebastian will end up like what happened to Rolando Espinosa, even if they agreed to cooperate with the government in its fight against illegal drugs.

“This is my advice to Kerwin. Don’t ever think that your ‘cooperation’ will spare you your life. Sooner or later this government is going to make sure you end up like your father,” De Lima said in a statement on Sunday.

Kerwin was arrested in Abu Dhabi last month.

“I make the same prediction for Jaybee Sebastian,” she added, referring to the high-profile Bilibid inmate who testified in the House inquiry. Sebastian exposed De Lima as a drug dealer.

Ever since her criticism to Duterte’s administration, De Lima has been tagged repeatedly in alleged drug trades inside the Bilibid prison and she has continuously denied these accusations.

She said that she would not be surprised if Kerwin would also try to bring her down.

“I will also not deny that given everything that the government has thrown at me, it won’t be farfetched that he will just be another of the witnesses to be brought against me in their effort to destroy me,” she said.

“Be that as it may, I will be listening to Kerwin’s testimony, and let the people judge as to its credibility given the circumstances of the moment where drug lords/drug personalities left and right are being stabbed or killed whether they cooperate with the government or not.”

De Lima also slammed the Duterte administration for not presenting evidence to prove that she received money from the illegal drug trade.

“Show us the money. I assure you there is none. No amount of browbeating the [Anti-Money Laundering Council] can make me a billionaire in its records overnight,” she said.

Rolando Espinosa, the mayor of Albuera, Leyte was killed inside the prison during an alleged shootout in the early hours of November 5.

Philippine National Police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Region 8 said they had shot the mayor as a self-defense after he pulled a gun on them.

The younger Espinosa described his father’s killing as a “rubout.”
