Jake Ejercito, masinsinang pinakiusapan para maging “Jake” ni Yaya Dub

Look: Angelica Panganiban gets a new hairstyle as Madam Claudia

Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban is sporting a new 'do' for her portrayal as Madam Claudia Buenavista in ABS-CBN's primetime series Pangako Sa 'Yo.

Panganiban who had a short disappearance from the series last year returned to the story with a lost memory. Her lover Simon, played by Alex Medina, made her believe that they are husband and wife until she saw archrival Amor Powers (Jodi Sta Maria) and husband Eduardo Buenavista (Ian Veneracion) in a church. Since then, she started to gain her memory back.

And because this is Pinoy teleserye, it is but natural to have a haircut to mark someone's return to the picture. Just like what happened to Jodi Sta Maria's character's (Amor) second 'homecoming' from the US.

Bakbakan na!

Angel Locsin shows up at the red carpet; Crowd starts screaming Darna

Locsin, one of the three new hosts of ABS-CBN's talent reality show along with Robin Padilla and Vice Ganda, rocked the crowd when she arrived wearing blue coat with her green hair extension. People started screaming "DARNA, DARNA" regardless of the pronouncements made by her and Star Cinema that she'll be no longer portraying the role.

When asked whether she'd still be Darna, Angel answered, "Hindi ko pa po alam."

(Truthfully, that was something unexpected. And yes, we were surprised. Looks like there's still hope for fans who tirelessly campaign to still her see her as Darna in a movie.)

Kuya Germs To Be Laid To Rest On Thursday, The Last Star He Helped Is Prince Villanueva In 'Wish I May'

IT’S COMMON knowledge that Kuya Germs, who'd be laid to rest tomorrow and with a special eulogy for him to be held tonight at GMA Studios, helped the careers of a lot of stars since his early shows like “Germspesyal” and “GMA Supershow” where his co-hosts like Sharon Cuneta, Jackielou Blanco, Maricel Laxa, all became famous. Then there’s “That’s Entertainment” that spawned the careers of so many stars, including Billy Crawford who was a child star then.

More recently, he helped a lot of stars with “Walang Tulugan with Master Showman”, like Jake Vargas (now a regular Kapuso leading man) and Ken Chan who became a star in “Destiny Rose”. The latest teen actor who he helped to get a good assignment in a GMA show is 17-year old Prince Villanueva, who plays Miguel Tanfelix’ rival over Bianca Umali in “Wish I May”. At the show’s presscon last Friday, Prince cried unabashedly as he recalled the last moments of Kuya Germs. He said he rushed to the St. Luke’s hospital in the wee hours of the morning when he was informed that his manager was in critical condition.

Gerald Anderson and Arci Munoz, to star in a Post-Valentine movie

Kapamilya stars Gerald Anderson and Arci Munoz are set to star in a Valentine movie slated for opening after Valentine's Day.

The two stars together with the film's director, Dan Villegas, were present in the story conference held today, Tuesday afternoon, January 12 at ELJ Building in ABS-CBN.

According to Instagram posts of PUSH, the still untitled movie will have lots of hugot feels - a thing which the director was initially known for (English Only Please, Walang Forever).

Arci, who is currently celebrating her 26th birthday today said she doesn't usually like celebrating her birthday but finds it a great present for starring in her first movie project.

Gerald, on the other hand, shared his excitement for the movie as its story is something that Star Cinema doesn't usually tackle in their movies. He added that the present day generation can very well relate to it.

Both stars had their tattoos shown before the cameras just for this project. Arci had a 'cherry blossom' tattoo on her back while Gerald had tattoos on both of his arms.
