Tanya Diaz, a 27-year-old rock vocalist from Mandaluyong City, became the first four-chair turner of the second season of "The Voice of the Philippines" aired on Sunday night, October 26.

Tanya, who performed the rock classic, "What About Love," came from a family of musicians. Her mother is a singer-songwriter, while her father is a musical arranger. All her brothers are also into music. During her blind audition, she said that she was inspired by her late brother, who was into rock.

Bamboo: "I'm at a loss for words. We just knew you're something special. Iba ka lang talaga. Thank you for joining us, thank you for being here, thank you for that performance".

apl.de.ap: "You brought the house down. Alam mo, kailangan mo akong piliin, kasi kapag hindi mo ako pinili, para akong traffic sa EDSA, I cannot move on without you".

Lea Salonga: "May mga good, tapos may mga very good, tapos may mga great. You're in the great section. You have everything, all the technical tools, emotionally, you're there. May katapusan ba 'yung galing nitong babaeng ito? Ang galing–galing mo talaga. Grabe ang naging impluwensiya ng kapatid mo sa 'yo".

Sarah Geronimo: "Tanya, ikaw ang isa sa mga hinahanap ko. Sobrang amazing, 'yung ang linis kumanta, pero grabe kung mag-growl. Paano niyo 'yun... mga lalamunan niyo. Tanya, kailangan na kailangan kita sa team ko. We’ll do anything for you".

Tanya eventually decided to join Bamboo's team, becoming Camp Kawayan's first member.

When Vanity and Traffic Strike, Heaven Brings Me Spa Paradise Called BLISS BEAUTY LOUNGE

Who would've thought that Metropolitan's heavy traffic that causes so much stress and loss opportunities to some will, ironically, become the very same reason why I look good, relaxed, refreshed.

Yes, I'm a self-confessed vain.

Bi-monthly visit to a salon to take good care of my hair, foot and hands. Weekly facial to pamper my skin. And thrice a week massage for a stress-free glow.

But finding a one-stop-beauty-shop that offers everything your body, mind and soul needed is still a bit of a challenge. Until that one long-stressful Monday, on my way to Greenhills from Makati, about to attend one last scheduled meeting for the day when I chanced upon this white colored establishment along Wilson Street in San Juan. So white that it looks so heavenly inviting. Curious that I am, I stepped on the break, parked the car and alas...I found this beauty haven called BLISS BEAUTY LOUNGE.

Here are the reasons why BLISS BEAUTY LOUNGE is worth your every time, money and effort:

This French Country-inspired one-stop beauty and relaxing haven is located at the heart of San Juan right very near Cardinal Medical Center and Greenhills Shopping Center.

Their staff, from their front desk officer to the beauty experts (especially my favorite Ate RC), offer a wide-sincere friendly smile ready to provide you with exactly anything that you want - full service comfort.

The interior, I must say, is so regal that you can instantly feel the VIP treatment that you deserve. The white and baby blue theme - from the wall, floor, ceiling, to the lighting, the lazy boy couch, side table, throw pillow and bed - is so comfy that it feels like your at home.

They have a well-appointed massage room (that can be shifted to a couple room) and a hair salon area that perfectly fits your very own definition of relaxation - serene, relax, blissful.

WiFi. Very fast free internet connection. You can blog, tweet, Instagram, FB all-you-want while having the best spa-time.

Yes, they offer free coffee, juices, and cookies while you have your services done. And lifestyle and fashion magazines to keep you entertained.

Their SERVICES, one-of-a-kind. Lowest rate that comes with high value services. For only P799 SPA ALL YOU CAN, I already availed their Hand Paraffin (P350), Foot Paraffin (P450), Glow in White Foot Spa (P350) and Energizing Mint Hair Spa (P350) - a total of P701 worth of savings. Very affordable that you would want the pampering to go on and on and on.

They also offer SPA PARTY PACKAGES for a very reasonable price. Polo Ravales Loyal To GMA-7 For 19 Years, Now Moving To ABS-CBN

POLO RAVALES plays another contravida role in “Ilustrado”. “I’m Venchito Monteverde, a fictional character that represents the Spaniards who maltreated Jose Rizal and his family,” he says. “Mother ko rito si Jaclyn Jose at inaapi namin ang mga Rizal.”

Polo is with the TGIS batch of Dingdong Dantes and Dino Guevarra. Dingdong is getting married soon while Dino already has four kids. How about him? Any plans of settling down soon? There was a rumor that he and his girlfriend of three years, Shasta Munsayac, already got married when they went to the U.S. recently.

“No, vacation lang yun, hindi kami nagpakasal,” he says. “That was just for two weeks. We first went to California then to New York. We’re at the right age naman. I’m 32 and she’s 30. As of now, live in muna kami. For me, mas okey ang ganitong arrangement. Wala namang problema with both our families.”

Christian Bautista Performs at the 23rd Anniversary show of MNCTV Network in Indonesia

Asia's Premiere Balladeer Christian Bautista proves continues to prove his worth as an Asian Icon when he was chosen to be a featured guest performer (and the only Filipino performer) in the special 23rd Anniversary show of MNCTV Network, considered to be Southeast Asia's largest and most integrated media group.

The event featured two elaborate stage set-ups featuring 30 famous performers and personalities from Indonesia, Malaysia. Christian was the lone Filipino performer in the event. Most of the songs performed were from a traditional Indonesian folk genre called Dangdut.

"I was overwhelmed that I got invited in such a prestigious event in MNCTV," says Christian. "The fact alone they trusted me to sing Dangdut, para akong inampon ng Indonesia. These dangdut songs are rich in tradition and almost sacred to them."

Christian sang Hingga Akhir Waktu (Till The End Of Time) with Syahrini and a traditional dangdut dance song called Pokok e Joged with Perssik and Ayu Ting Ting.

"The songs were beautifully and contemporarily arranged and the production numbers had the artists and dancers in elaborate traditional inspired costumes," shares he. "Syempre, I also sang my hits Tetaplah Dihatiku (Please Be Careful with My Heart in Bahasa language) with film & soap superstar Bunga Citra Lestari , The Way You Look At Me and my latest single to be released in Manila Up Where We Belong, which is the theme of the GMA7 series Empress Ki."

Christian also met with other TV program media groups under MNCTV and family members of the network owners.

The Kapuso actor/singer/host, who celebrated his birthday on October 19, was also surprised by his Indonesian fans with gifts and a special birthday cake.
