During this morning's episode of TV5 Saturday morning showbiz talk show Paparazzi, Mr. Fu, one of the show's host, revealed that It's Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro, were engaged in a heated backstage argument.
"May nag-text po sa akin na nandun sa katapat nating show ngayon na diumano ang mga host nito na si Vice Ganda at Vhong Navarro ay kasalukuyang nagsisigawan backstage.
"Napikon diumano si Vice sa biro ni Vhong kaya nagkaroon ng palitan ng malakas na sigawan. " Mr. Fu said.
But during the time that Mr. Fu is taking about the alleged confrontation scene between ABS-CBN's noontime show hosts, Vhong and Vice are seen doing one of the show's live segment and were in their usual happy mode.
Several minutes after, Vhong and Vice both aired a statement refuting Mr. Fu's report. To quote: "Nalaman po naming sa kabilang show daw po ay sinabing nag-aaway kame ni Vhong. Wala pong ganung pangyayari. Masaya at parang pamilya po kame dito. Wag nyo naman pong sirain ang maganda naming samahan."
So, who is telling the truth? Who is hiding something?
GMA-7 Scores Another Nationwide TV Ratings Win this May
Leading broadcast company GMA Network, Inc. (GMA) scored another nationwide TV ratings win this May, according to data of the widely recognized ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.
Based on May 1 to 31 data (May 1 to 26 data and May 27 to 31 overnight data), GMA averaged 35.1 total day household audience share points in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), ahead of ABS-CBN’s 30.2 points by 4.9 points and of TV5’s 14.5 points by 20.6 points.
Using an assumption of five viewers per household, GMA’s margins translate to almost 900,000 viewers over ABS-CBN and 3.7 million viewers over TV5 nationwide.
Nielsen’s comparative monthly nationwide ratings performance of the country’s three major TV channels nearly half-way into the year likewise reflects GMA as the established leading station in the airwaves.
GMA’s share point lead over ABS-CBN from January to May 31 hit almost six points, while its lead against TV5 was at 21 points.
In Total Urban Luzon, which makes up 77% of total urban television households nationwide, GMA hit 39 share points or a 13.1-point difference against ABS-CBN’s 25.9, and a 24.9-point gap against TV5’s 14.1 this May.
The gaps translate to more than 1.8 million more viewers for GMA over ABS-CBN; and 3.5 million more viewers over TV5 in the said area.
In Mega Manila, an area strategically important to advertisers as it comprises the bulk of total urban television households at 59.5%, GMA had an outright win with 40.2 share points, more than 15 points away from ABS-CBN’s 24.6, and 25.7 points higher than TV5’s 14.5 points.
The gaps translate to almost 1.8 million more viewers over ABS-CBN and 2.9 million more viewers over TV5.
Further, GMA strengthened its programming with a string of launches on primetime and daytime in the previous month.
GMA’s newest primetime offering Luna Blanca, the first multigenerational drama, outrated in Mega Manila ABS-CBN’s counterpart program Princess and I during its debut last May 21, while the early morning cooking show Cooking with the Stars has been a constant nationwide ratings winner over ABS-CBN’s Kris TV since its premiere last May 28.
Pinoy Adventures, GMA's primetime adventure-travel show every Sunday, also records continuous ratings win in the strategic areas of Urban Luzon and Mega Manila over ABS-CBN’s Sarah G. Live since its premiere airing on May 13.
On Saturday daytime, GMA’s My Chubby World is the recognized kids’ favorite over ABS-CBN’s The Penguin. GMA’s kiddie show had another season relaunch last May 12 and has consistently clobbered the competing program across all areas.
Relative to TV5, GMA program launches enjoy high rating differences across all areas and timeblocks.
GMA subscribes to the Nielsen TV Audience Measurement along with 21 companies including another major network, TV5; Faulkner Media; CBN Asia; 15 advertising agencies and three regional clients. On the other hand, ABS-CBN is the only local major TV network reportedly subscribing to Kantar Media, formerly known as TNS.
The Nielsen TV Audience Measurement has a sample size of 1,190 homes in Mega Manila versus Kantar Media's 770 homes. Nielsen also has a nationwide sample size of 2,000 homes compared to the lower sample size of 1,370 utilized by Kantar Media.

Jodi Santamaria, Richard Yap may bagong teleserye
Matapos ang ilang proyekto na pinagbidahan ni Jodi Santamaria ay muli na naman siyang pinagkatiwalaan ng ABS-CBN para bumida sa isang teleserye kung saan makakasama niya si Richard Yap. Matapos magpahinga ni Jodi sa paggawa ng serye ay muli na naman siyang makikita sa primetime kasama ang aktor na nakilala bilang Papa Chen. Nagpapasalamat pareho sina Jodi Santamaria at Richard Yap sa proyektong ipinagkatiwala sa kanila ng Kapamilya network. Si Richard ang magsisilbing leading man ni Jodi sa naturang serye. Ito ang unang pagkakataon na makakatrabaho ni Jodi Santamaria ang baguhang aktor ay excited na umano siyang makasama ito sa telebisyon.
Kahit pa umano tila pang teenager ang pagkakaroon niya ng loveteam ay masaya si Jodi Santamaria sa magagawa nilang chemistry sa telebisyon ni Richard Yap. Alam din daw ng aktres na marami siyang matutunan sa bagong serye at bagong leading man. Hindi kaila sa lahat ang pangalan na ginawa ni Richard sa industriya dahil sa pagganap niya bilang Chen Sy sa isa pang  teleserye na My Binondo Girl. Parehong nanggaling sa isang matagumpay na serye sina Jodi at Richard kung kaya inaasahan na rin daw na magiging maganda ang pagatanggap ng mga tao sa kanilang pagtatambal.
Iikot ang istorya ng bagong programa sa dalawang taong nagmamahalan na kabilang sa magkaibang mundo. Hindi naman daw mawawala rito ang pagdiskubre ng mga karakter sa teleserye ng kanilang pagmamahalan. Ikinumpara ni Jodi Santamaria ang kuwento sa isang modern fairy tale. Ang magiging karakter ni Jodi Santamaria sa teleserye ay isang babaeng lumaki sa probinsya. Makikipagsapalaran naman sa Manila ang karakter ng aktres  hanggang magkakakilala sila ng karakter ni Richard Yap. Dito na umano magsisimula ang mga interisadong pangyayari sa pagitan nina Jodi at Richard.
Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin makapaniwala ang negosyanteng si Richard Yap sa mga ibinibigay na malalaking teleserye sa kaniya ng Kapamilya network. Matapos ang kauna-unahan niyang serye ay nasundan pa ito ng mas malalaking proyekto katulad ng Walang Hanggan. Bilang baguhang aktor ay gagawin umano ni Richard ang kaniyang makakaya para patunayan sa ABS-CBN na karapat-dapat siya sa naturang role. Sa unang pagpasok pa lang ni Richard Yap sa showbiz ay nabigyan na siya ng pagkakataon na makatrabaho ang malalaki at magagaling na artista ng industriya. Excited na rin daw siya na makatrabaho si Jodi Santamaria na kaniyang magiging leading lady.
Samantalang ang aktres naman ay tila masayang-masaya na sa kaniyang kasalukuyang estado. Kamakailan lang ay napabalita na kahit hiwalay na sila ng asawa ay naging magkaibigan na sila nito. Ngayong taon inaasahang ilalabas ang teleserye nina Jodi Santamaria at Richard Yap kung kaya parehong excited ang dalawa sa magiging pagtanggap ng kanilang mga tagahanga. Balak ipagsabay ng aktres ang kaniyang pag-aaral at pagtatrabaho samantalang sinasanay na rin daw ng baguhang aktor ang ipagsabay ang pag-aartista at pagnenegosyo.

Kumpirmado na ang American Idol runner-up na si Jessica Sanchez ang kakanta ng pambansang awit ng Amerika sa laban ni Manny Pacquiao. Makakalaban ni Pacman ang Amerikanong si Timothy Bradley sa Las Vegas. Kinumpirma ng Top Rank Entertainment na aawitin ni Jessica ang Star-Spangled Banner na pambansang awit ng bansang Amerika. Nauna nang naibalita na hiniling noon ni Manny Pacquiao na ang dalagang si Jessica Sanchez ang aawit sa kaniyang laban.
Kinumpirma rin ng Mexican-Filipina ang kaniyang pagkanta sa laban sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang Twitter account. Ayon sa dalagang si Jessica, excited na raw siyang kumanta sa makasaysayang laban ni Manny at Timothy.
Magaganap ang laban sa MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas kung saan madalas idaos ang mga laban ni Manny Pacquiao. Ito ang unang pagkakataon na haharap muli si Jessica Sanchez sa madaming audience kabilang na ang mga kababayan niyang mga Pilipino. ANC, the country’s most influential and trusted cable TV news channel, will launch a revitalized science and technology program “Future Perfect” with anchor Tony Velasquez to present the latest science news and features and discussions on how technological tools and systems can be best adapted for the Filipino audience premiering on ANC this Wednesday (June 13) at 7:00 p.m.

The award-winning Pan-Asian TV series “The Kitchen Musical” starring Philippines' very own Christian Bautista and Karylle airs on the Lifestyle Network.
After having won the Gold Medal for Best Writing and Bronze Medal for Best Performance at the recently concluded 2012 New York Festivals and likewise bagging the InterMediaGold Globe Award at the World Media Festivals, The Kitchen Musical, an international production by The Group Entertainment that premiered on Lifestyle Network last May 2, is again nominated in the upcoming Festival de Television de Monte-Carlo which will be held on June 10-14 in Monaco.

Lindsay Lohan Accident: Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Crashing Her Porsche
Lindsay Lohan has been rushed at the Santa Monica UCLA hospital but is now fine and back to work after her black collided with an 18 wheeler tractor-trailer truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles on Friday, June 8.
The 25-year-old actress was driving the car on her way to the set of the TV film Liz Dick, which is about Dame Elizabeth Taylor's relationship with her two-time husband Richard Burton when the accident happen.
"Lindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set. She was taken to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution. She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident." Lindsay's representatives said in a statement.
