Ryzza Mae Dizon's Impostor Gets Equal Share of Attention
Nicole Quimzon of Brgy. Canlalay, Biñan, Laguna almost always captivates the attention of people wherever she goes, not because she is a celebrity herself, but because she resembles someone who is.
In last Sunday’s episode of the news magazine show on GMA-7 “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS),” multi-awarded broadcast journalist Jessica Soho featured Nicole, a look-alike of Little Ms. Philippines 2012 Grand Winner and host of a morning talk show, Ryzza Mae Dizon.
In almost all aspects – hairstyle, mannerisms, dance moves – Nicole resembles the cute little host, which is now dubbed as the youngest TV host in the Philippines.
In fact, while the KMJS crew were interviewing Nicole’s parents at an outdoor location, on-lookers were taking pictures of Nicole thinking that she was the child star.
Nicole recently visited the studio of “Eat Bulaga” at the Broadway Centrum and the KMJS team tagged along. There, Nicole met with her idol Ryzza Mae. The child star invited her look-alike to dance to the tune of “Cha Cha Dabarkads,” a dance hit popularized by Ryzza Mae. The two even played with Ryzza Mae’s pink remote-controlled car.
On her way out of the studio, fans waiting outside took photos of Nicole not knowing that she’s only Ryzza Mae’s look-alike. Ryzza Mae’s co-hosts in “Eat Bulaga” Ruby Rodriguez also greeted her but was shocked when she was told that the truth.
It seems that Ryzza Mae Dizon will no longer be described using adjectives in the superlative degree since aesthetically speaking, there’s not just one and only Ryzza Mae Dizon but two!

While ABS-CBN announces its acquisition of Mars Ravelo's classics including the infamous Darna character, Kapuso primetime queen who once played the famous Pinay super heroine on primetime TV is officially leaving her Darna costume in favor of world famous fictional DC Comics super heroine Wonder Woman.

Ian Veneracion Has Much Younger Leading Ladies In Jasmine Curtis Smith & Lauren Young In 'Puti'
JASMINE CURTIS SMITH is a Kapatid and Lauren Young is a Kapuso and first time for them to work together along with Ian Veneracion in the CineFilipino filmfest entry, “Puti”, that will premiere tonight at Resorts World. “Sa workshops pa lang, nagkasundo na kami agad ni Lauren,” says Jasmine, who’s fresh from winning the Cinemalaya best supporting actress award for “Transit”.
“Puti” is the debut of writer-director Mike Alcazaren, who has wide experience in directing TV commercials, and it’s his tribute to former mentor Mike de Leon’s “Itim”. A psychological thriller, it stars Ian Veneracion as Amir Luna, a forger of well known paintings sold in the black market. After a car crash, he becomes color blind and his son, Brian Pagala, becomes comatose. Soon, strange things begin happening to him. Are they really happening or it’s all just in his mind.
Jasmine plays his assistant while Lauren plays the nurse who takes care of his son. Mike’s wife is Lizanne and their best man at their wedding is our friend Mike Asis, our co-volunteer at the Center for Family Ministries’ Discovery Weekend. Lizanne sang the Ilonggo lullaby “Ili-ili Tulog Anay” (also sung by Cherie Gil in “Sonata”) in a key scene of the movie while his sister in law, Beng Calma of Drip sang the theme song “My Eyes Deceive Me”.
Here’s hoping the CineFilipino Filmfest to be shown at Resorts World, Gateway, Lucky Chinatown Cinema and Eastwood Cinema will get better support from moviegoers than the entries in Sineng Pambansa. After all, they have the one and only Superstar, Nora Aunor, in “Kuwento ni Mabuti”. Now is the time for all supporters of Ate Guy to show that they have clout and can make their idol’s entry a real box office hit.

NIKKI GIL admits she was hurt when she and Billy Crawford broke up after five years of being on. But she has since moved on and just finished the movie “Badil” for Director Chito Rono, an entry shot in Samar now being shown as party of Sineng Pambansa. She also plays the contravidanamed Mystica to Jessy Mendiola in the remake of the Mexicanovela “Maria Mercedes”. She deliberately kept quiet after they split but she says she has since moved on and would rather not dwell on it at all.
“I just keep my eyes focused ahead and I’m just looking forward to the many exciting things that are happening in my life,” she says. “There’s no sense in looking back at the past. I always try to maintain a positive attitude by keeping myself surrounded by positive people who’d help me move on. I feel so blessed to have a very prayerful family and very supportive friends. Maraming concerned, maraming nagpapakita ng malasakit. Okay na po ako as of now and I just want to thank everyone who showed their concern. I learned a lot from what happened and I definitely think that it has helped me become a better person who’s a more equipped partner for my future husband.”
Is she ready to be friends with Billy again, who was the one who dumped her because he’s allegedly confused? “In due time siguro. We’d be able to interact again. Edukado naman tayong tao.”

After Beyonce, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, "Just Give Me a Reason" singer Pink named Billboard’s Woman of the Year for 2013.
Billboard made the announcement today that the pop singer, who is currently busy with her international “The Truth About Love Tour,” will be receive the honor at its annual Women in Music event on December 10 in New York City.
Pink's sixth studio album, “The Truth About Love,” has sold 1.7 million albums since its release last year, launching three Top 10 hits including the No. 1 “Just Give Me a Reason.”

Pinoy Big Brother - the most famous house in the country will soon open its doors to a new batch of housemates with the announcement of the Season 5 of the hit reality show on ABS-CBN.
ABS-CBN TV Production Head Laurenti Dyogi announced on Twitter that "PBB" will soon hold auditions for its newest season, which was originally scheduled for October 6 in time for the 60th anniversary of ABS-CBN.
"After the ocular today, and in consideration of security and logistical issues, we will postpone the PBB auditions this Oct. 6. My apologies," Dyogi tweeted.
