Enchong Dee Victimized by Illegal Recruiter

This Saturday, September 30, Enchong Dee plays a young man named Rolly who gets swindled by an illegal recruiter in “Ipaglaban Mo.”
Rolly has been dreaming of a better future so he goes to Manila with his friends Doboy (Lemuel Pelayo) and Joey (Bryan Homecilla) to seek better work opportunities. They feel lucky when they meet a recruiter, who promises to give them a job overseas. Unaware of what the recruiter is up to, they borrow money to pay for the placement fee, and then find out that there is no job waiting for them abroad.
Will Rolly and his friends recover their money from the illegal recruiter? What penalties will the court impose on illegal recruiters?
Also joining the cast in this week’s episode titled “Paano Na Ang Pangarap” are Maria Isabel Lopez, Lito Pimentel, Shey Bustamante, Nico Antonio, and Paolo Serrano.
Meanwhile, “Ipaglaban Mo” has helped more and more Filipinos since it started offering free legal advice sessions with hosts Atty. Jose Sison and Jopet Sison. Alden Richards is Jose Rizal in 'Ilustrado'
After a quite number of award-winning actors who played Dr. Jose P. Rizal in previous biography movies and TV specials, Kapuso actor Alden Richards is set to prove he also fit the bill as the country's national hero in GMA News TV docu-drama series entitled "Ilustrado."
“This is something new for me. Kasi first time ko pong gagawa ng isang project na meron akong ipu-portray na isang national hero. Mahirap po. Hindi biro pero excited ako for this project and I've never been so hands-on in any of my projects, ngayon lang for Ilustrado. Kung nag-e-effort ako before sa soaps ko, doble effort for this," Alden said of the series which will revolve around Rizal’s sacrifices in the name of freedom and sovereignty for the Philippines.
So how did Alden prepare for the role?
"The production team gave me a few pointers kung ano ang puwede kong pag-aralan. Binigyan nila ako ng CDs, ng documentaries about Rizal, movies before like Cesar Montano's Jose Rizal. Pinanood ko 'yun. I did a lot of workshops with Kylie, with our director, with my acting coach. Andami eh, it's very different from doing a soap na you're going to create your own character." he said.
Alden said the role is different from any role he has had in the past.
"The difference between Ilustrado and other soaps or primetime teleserye is kapag soap, you create something different, you create on your own. In doing this bayani serye, mayroong basis from history. You create it in line with what was listed in history. Hindi puwedeng ikaw lang 'to kasi Jose Rizal 'to eh. It's still 70 percent Jose Rizal, 30 percent of Alden."

Slated to air starting October on GMA Telebabad timeslot, Ilustrado is being handled by the same team that worked on the historical series, Katipunan.

Jake Cuenca Leaves Showbiz, Stars in His Last MMK Episode with Returning Actor Angelo Ilagan
Before he temporarily leaves Philippines showbiz for a one-month intensive acting workshop in New York, Jake Cuenca will star in the upcoming episode of ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (September 20).
Jake will give life to the character of Igge, a good-hearted son who took on the role of father to his half-siblings after their mother died.
What will Igge do when, after all his sacrifices, his siblings decide to leave him?
