Galeno "Rock" Opong sang The Script's "No Good In Goodbye" for his Blind Audition in "The Voice Kids Philippines" season 2 that aired on Sunday, July 12, 2015.

The Voice Kids PH 2 - Opong

Opong, 8 years old from Iloilo, accompanied his singing with his guitar which worked for the three coaches who all turned for him.

He eventually chose coach Sarah because, according to him, that's what his father told him to do. He also added that his father said the Popstar Royalty is pretty.

Rock became the 17th member of Team Sarah.

‘1 Night 2 Days’ to leave for Los Angeles in September

KBS‘ ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ announced that they rescheduled their Los Angeles trip which was originally set to take place in mid-June in Koreatown, Los Angeles.

The scheduled activity was postponed due to MERS CoV scare in South Korea. It was revealed that they are going to continue the delayed activity in early September. The exact venue in Los Angeles will be a secret until its broadcast.
They will film for seven nights and six days, and all cast (Kim Joo Hyuk, Kim Jun Ho, Defconn, Kim Jong Min, Jung Jun Young, and Cha Tae Hyun) will be present there. It will be broadcast in late September or early October.

Primetime Drama Series na My Mother's Secret magtatapos na sa July 24!

Isa sa mga matatawag na sulpot serye ang primetime series na My Mother's Secret na pinagbibidahan nila Gwen Zamora, Christian Bautista, Kristoffer Martin at Kim Rodriguez dahil biglang sumolpot at ini-ere kaagad sa telebisyon.

Tila kulang sa publicity at hype ang drama series na My Mother's Secret kaya may isyung nagkakaroon ng palakasan sa nasabing network. Mismong mga fans na ang nagsabi na  kulang sa suporta ang GMA7 sa serye My Mother's Secret kumpara sa ibang programa.


Hindi kataka-taka na semplang ang ratings nito dahil ayon sa datos ng Kantar Media nakakuha noong July 6 ang My Mother's Secret ng 10.5% na ratings laban sa katapat nito na Pasion de Amor na nakapagtala ng 21.5%.

Nakakuha naman ng 11.2% na ratings ang serye My Mother's Secret noong July 7 at pinataob ito ng katapat na programa na Pasion de Amor na nakakuha ng 20.6%.

Nagsimula ang My Mother's Secret noong May 25 at magtatapos ito sa darating na July 24, sa makatuwid umabot ito ng dalawang buwan sa ere katumabas na 9 weeks.

Sinasabing certified FLOP ang GMA Telebabad program na My Mother's Secret dahil nagsimula ito ng hindi ramdam at magtatapos ito ng hindi namamalayan.

Abangan ang maiinit na mga eksena sa huling dalawang linggo ng My Mother's Secret sa nangunguna GMA Telebabad.

Martin Del Rosario on Gay Rumors: ‘Hindi ko babasagin yung trip nila’

Hindi kailanman na-bother ang dating Kapamilya actor na si Martin del Rosario about gay issue na patuloy na ikinakabit sa kanyang pangalan. Maging ang pamilya niya, hindi rin daw ito pinapansin.

In an interview on DZMM,  Vice Ganda gave his reaction to Rhap Salazar's statement about "non-singers" being given more opportunity to release albums.

"Sa pagtupad ng mga pangarap natin, hindi naman natin sinabi sa mga totoong singer na hindi na kayo puwedeng gumawa, kayo na lang.


Wala naman kaming ipinagkait, kinuha lang rin natin 'yung karapatan natin," Vice said, as he has three albums despite being a "non-singer."

He also commented that Rhap should be wise in his choice of words.

"As much as possible, let's not use the word 'hate.' Puwedeng 'I don't like' or 'I am not in favor' pero please, do not hate people lalo na wala naman silang nilabag na batas. Hindi rin naman nila tinapakan ang karapatang pantao mo."

Is Ylona Garcia the Philippines' next singing star?

A lot of "Pinoy Big Brother 737" viewers has fallen in love with Ylona Garcia's singing voice.

She may be nominated for two weeks in a row now, but a lot of her fans say that Ylona will have a singing career in the Philippines even if she gets evicted early.

The 13-year-old housemate is from Australia, and she actually has had experiences in performing back there.

She has already performed as front act to Filipino artists like Sarah Geronimo, Martin Nievera and Bamboo during their respective concert tours in Australia.

With her popularity in the Philippines brought about by her joining "PBB 737," her videos on YouTube has become more watched.

Some of her most-watched videos are her performances of Ariana Grande's "Problem" and Jessie J's "Who You Are" which you can watch below.

And, of course, there's also her original composition inside the "PBB" house that Big Brother had her record - "Win The Fight."

It was injected with fellow teen housemate Jimboy Martin's own rap verses in Tagalog which made the song more current.

Watch Channing Tatum Strips, Grind to the Groove in "Magic Mike XXL"


Channing Tatum reprises the title role and again serves as a producer on Warner Bros. Pictures' “Magic Mike XXL,” the highly awaited sequel to the 2012 worldwide hit “Magic Mike.”

Three years after Mike Lane (Tatum) quit the stripper spotlight for a different kind of life, he’s come to realize he traded one grind for another. The business he launched isn’t exactly crushing it, and the girl he thought was the one…wasn’t. But it’s more than that. Tatum explains, “You definitely get the sense that something vital is missing. He’s just not ‘switched on’ the way he was when he was dancing.”

For Mike, it was never just about the money. Or the women, or the parties, or the fame. It was his passion. And the crew he left behind? They were the best friends he ever had.

Describing the new story, Tatum says, “The first movie was more about him rejecting that life because he feared maybe it was holding him back from seeing what else he could do. But now that he’s stepped away and some time has passed, he remembers everything that was good and cool and fun about it and, most of all, about the guys who were on that wild adventure with him. It might not have been perfect and neither were they, but he loved those guys and they had some great times. Mike has been working very hard since the closing frame of the first movie, and we catch up with him at the point where he realizes he needs a little bit of that old mojo. He needs some of that crazy life to shake things up for him again.”




It’s time to get out there and have some fun, doing what he does best. So, when the former Kings of Tampa look him up on their way to the stripper convention in Myrtle Beach – an event that is every bit as outrageous as it sounds – Magic Mike can’t resist. He’s in.

It was vital that for “Magic Mike XXL” the dance routines were not only original, sexy and breathtakingly intense, but integral to the story and the characters. Director Gregory Jacobs affirms, “We wanted the dances to connect thematically to each of the guys and reflect some kind of character development with a big payoff at the end.”

“Channing, honestly, has the most incredible ideas; he’s so instinctual and a lot of it comes from him,” choreographer Alison Faulk says. Offering a couple of examples, “Adam plays on the machismo element and he’s athletic, so we challenged him with some hip-hop moves and a kip-up, which is a kind of full-body rising movement from the floor that requires a lot of abdominal strength.”

Tatum lent his expertise, working closely with Faulk and Jacobs to craft the most powerful dance performances, not only for himself but for all the roles – a process that could have been far more awkward if not for the fact that he and the choreographer share a longtime association. “We spent hours in a room, trying to figure out the right dance moves,” he says. “We were saying things like, ‘Don’t put your crotch here; put it more over here.’ It was ridiculous.”

Their dedication was evident throughout, starting with the first beats of Tatum’s opening number, a stirring freestyle solo that Mike executes in the garage where he makes furniture, triggered by Ginuwine’s “Pony” on the radio. As Magic Mike, it was his signature song, and hearing it still sets his body irresistibly in motion. Alone, he moves seemingly for the pure pleasure of it, ingeniously incorporating the drills and sanders of his trade while gliding across workbenches and spinning off chairs as the music guides him – perhaps reminding himself that dancing is still a part of who he is.

Not that there was any doubt. “Channing’s performance is unbelievable,” Jacobs states. “It’s really impossible to take your eyes off him when he starts to move. And it’s there, in that first dance, when he hears that song and the call of this trip is so strong that he can’t pass it up.”

'PBB 737' 3rd set of nominees revealed

The nine remaining housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother 737" underwent a face-to-face nomination for the reality show's third nomination night on Saturday, July 11, 2015.

It's not only that, though, because what happened was a "positive nomination" which means they are going to give points to the ones who they think are most deserving to stay inside the house.

Jimboy Martin topped the nomination with 9 points in total, followed by Kyle Secades with 7 points, and Franco Rodriguez and Kenzo Gutierrez with 4 points each.

The housemates with the lowest points were Ryan Bacalla with 2, Kamille Filoteo with 1, and Zonia Mejia, Ylona Garcia and Bailey May with no points.

The five teens that got the lowest were the ones nominated, although the LigTask Challenge could save one of them.

After the challenge which involved putting "money" in a giant piggy bank within 1 minute, Bailey was saved for having the highest total of 1,100.

Zonia could have equaled that amount (which would have resulted to no one being saved) but Big Brother didn't count her last 100 because her time was already over.

Ryan got the third highest amount with 750, followed by Ylona with 700, and Kamille with 650.

With Bailey out of the list, the official third set of "PBB 737" nominees are Kamille, Ryan, Ylona and Zonia.

Vote for the ones you like to save by texting BB<space>Name of Housemate to 2366 for all mobile network providers. Only one vote per SIM is allowed. Voting costs P0.50 cents for all providers, except for Globe Postpaid (P1.00).
