Kris Aquino and Angel Locsin go on shopping together

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and kapamilya actress Angel Locsin bonded together today for a productive shopping. Kris posted the photo on her Instagram account and wrote in the caption,

"Productive shopping for new home needs w/ @therealangellocsin ??"

Kris wrote in the preceding Instagram post that she'll be spending the rest of the day with Angel shopping some kitchenware and dining room supplies. The TV host was touched by the actress asking for her opinion.

"But 1st- kitchenware & dining room supplies shopping date w/ @therealangellocsin - made time for her because na touch ako because she valued my opinion regarding what she'll need. ??", Kris wrote.

So, are they the new BFF's in showbiz? Just asking...

KimXi, LizQuen headline One Magical Concert in US cities

Two of the country's top loveteams are westbound today to perform before the Filipinos in the US particularly in New Jersey and Houston.

KimXi and LizQuen left the country earlier this day for their two-day One Magical Concert in Bergen County Auditorium on November 4 and in Wheeler Field House on November 6..

"Been hanging out in the lounge for hours and eto lang pic namin with @lizasoberano @enriquegil17 @chinitaprincess ...will post better pics? see you soon New Jersey and Houston!", Xian wrote in the caption.

24 Oras has been a household name since 2004 when GMA News and Public Affairs launched what would be the Kapuso Network's flagship nationwide primetime newscast. The program has since served the need of viewers for non-biased and balanced news, and later even extended broadcast to include weekends.

Monday will also see the rebranding of GMA's regional newscasts into the 24 Oras brand, delivering the news in the distinct 24 Oras style all over the country.

Late-night news source Saksi, led by Arnold Clavio, meanwhile, will have Pia Arcangel on board as its newest co-anchor. Seasoned broadcast journalist Connie Sison, on the other hand, will take over as Raffy Tima's co-anchor in the leading midday newscast Balitanghali, which airs daily on GMA News TV.

Weekend news program 24Oras Weekend will still be headlined by Jiggy Manicad and Pia Arcangel, while Mariz Umali and Jun Veneracion anchor Balitanghali Weekend.

With new anchors on board, expect these fortified news programs to continue providing the public with balanced and unbiased news.

24 Oras airs from Monday to Friday at 6:30PM and Saksi at 11:00PM, while 24 Oras Weekend airs at 5:30PM every Saturday and Sunday on GMA 7. Balitanghali, meanwhile, airs weekdays at 11:30AM. Balitanghali Weekend airs at 12nn on GMA News TV.

Jean Garcia Got Nervous in Sexy Pool Love Scene with Derek Ramsay! Must See!

Derek Ramsay shares his experience filming a steamy love scene with veteran actress Jean Garcia in their upcoming movie with Lovi Poe and Christopher De Leon, “The Escort.” 

According to him, he was shocked when the director told him that he would be the one to lead their love scene which happened in the pool.  “I was shocked kasi… at first medyo panic ako like, ‘What?!’

“Ito yung experienced actress, such a big name, and she’s saying it’s her first time so parang extra caution ako.

“And I really made her feel comfortable coz I can see she’s nervous, she was uncomfortable because sa swimming pool yun, e.

‘But the minute Direk said ‘Action!’ pasok na siya at inalagaan ko talaga siya and I made her feel comfortable.”

Despite this, Derek shared that he didn’t have any hard time at all doing the scene but had to take extra effort.

“Talagang extra effort lang talaga na… I was nervous.”

In the movie, Jean’s character was also an ‘escort’.

Derek shared, “Pero yung mayor, binili yung kontrata niya.

“Kaya mahirap sa kanya, siya pa yung aggressive.”

“Kasi di ba, ako ayoko nang maging escort, pero siya yung lagi, e.”

“So di ba, parang ang ano ko dun is like mahal ko na rin siguro siya, kasi siya yung bumuhay sa akin and at the same time, ayoko nang gawin.

“Kasi alam ko rin may asawa siya at kapag lumabas yung asawa niya sa kulungan yari ako.”

Meanwhile, his love scenes with Lovi Poe are much-awaited as well. Derek was also concerned with Poe and suggested other love scene positions that wouldn’t make the actress uncomforable.

“Sabi ko, ‘Direk, parang hindi yata fit yung eksenang ito.’

“’At the end of the day, it’s your decision, pero I strongly suggest that ibahin natin, I have a couple of suggestions if you’re willing to hear it.’

“And he’s like, ‘Yeah, let me know.’

“And he listened to my suggestions and that’s what we did. And it came out sexier and more appropriate.

The Escort is directed by Enzo Williams and will premiere today, November 2, 2016.

However, the House Committee on Information and Communications who is headed by Chairman and Rizal Representative Joel Roy Duavit approved House Bill 5231 without dissent. House Bill 5231 is also known as the ‘SIM CARD Registration Act of 2015’ which is a consolidation of nine bills.

Dr. Strange Movie Review: An Absorbing Origin Story Of Another Marvel Superhero With Great Performances From Swinton & Cumberbatch

WE ENJOYED Benedict Cumberbatch's performance as Alan Turing and Sherlock Holmes so we won't miss him as "Dr. Strange", the newest Marvel superhero that should have been a summer offering but is now being shown during fall in America. And yes, the Brit Cumberbatch does not disappoint and plays the role with deadpan relish, even speaking with an American accent. It made us recall his portrayal of the villain, John Harrison, in "Star Trek: Into Darkness".

Visually, this action-fantasy flick is an eye-popping psychedelic spectacle like a kaleidoscope showing folding walls, ceilings, staircases and entire buildings, reminiscent of what Christopher Nolan did in "Inception". Marvel's Stan Lee appears in a cameo while on a bus with a copy of the book "Doors of Perception", which is somehow related to the movie.

As Dr. Stephen Strange, Cumberbatch is a brilliant neurosurgeon in a hospital in New York who is in the top of his field and has become arrogant and swell headed. He is the version of Tony Stark in the medical profession, combined with the acerbic eccentricity of Dr. Gregory House. He thinks less of his colleagues and is romantically inclined to another doctor, Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams.)
But a horrible car crash (very well and astonishingly staged for the big screen) changes his life as it cripples his hands and fingers. He must then travel to Kathmandu in Nepal where a guru can help restore his lost abilities to perform delicate surgeries. There, he meets the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and her disciples, Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Wong (Benedict Wong).


But as maybe expected, things are not served to him on a silver platter. He has to struggle for it, forget his egotism and humble himself many times over while journeying through a dizzying rabbit hole of time and space to achieve enlightenment. Then it becomes clear that once he has learned the tricks of the trade on an astral level, he's not really destined to go back to surgery but to fulfill his true destiny as a Master where his spirit and flesh come together in perfect harmony. He also gains his own magical uniform, a neo-Edwardian cape with a mysterious medallion that has its own mind and its own powers.

He then joins the Ancient One in her fight against another ambitious student, Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen of "Hannibal" TV series), who has chosen to join the dark side ala-Darth Vader. Kaecilius is one of the most evil villains in Marvel Comics Universe, along with Malekith and Loki from Thor and Zemo from Captain America.

Swinton pays her role with a quiet but potent combination of charisma and enigma. Her teacher-student scenes with Cumberbatch are eminently watchable. Cumberbatch himself wisely attacks his role in a funny-serious way that is perfect for this origin story about a doctor who is grounded in science and yet has to redeem himself through occult mystical studies that his own intellect will ordinarily brand as ludicrous. Rachel McAdams doesn't have much screen time but registers well as the love interest who has a head of her own and won't pander to Dr. Strange.

Don't leave right away when the end credits are shown as there are two bonus previews. One shows Dr. Strange talking to Chris Hemsworth as Thor over his brother Loki. The other one shows what happens to the Mordo character who turns out has motives as inscrutable as that of Strange.

Khalil Ramos Stars In A Cinema One Entry About The Sexual Awakening Of A Confused High School Teener

KHALIL RAMOS, "Pilipinas Got Talent" runner up, also has an offbeat role like Jasmine Curtis Smith in his own Cinema One Originals entry, "2 Cool 2 B 4Gotten". As one writer puts its: "Kung katomboyan ang kay Jasmine, kabadingan naman ang kay Khalil."

The movie's script is written by Jason Laxamana and directed by Petersen Vargas (son of Evelyn). A coming of age story about a sad and lonely boy in high school, Khalil plays Felix, whose life changes when he meets two balikbayan Fil-Am boys, Jameson Blake of PBB and Ethan Salvador, son of former actor Emil Sandoval.

"The role is very challenging," he says. "First time ko to play such a character na confused and will question his gender. But I enjoyed it, masaya naman."

He's 20 in real life but he plays a 16-year old boy in the movie, and he looks it. Does he have love scenes with Jameson and Ethan? "May sexual tension ang scenes namin, very sensitive, but not to the extreme. Panoorin nyo na lang. Basta, pinag-aagawan nila ako. Ha ha ha!"

Khalil has done a lot of movies since he joined "Pilipinas Got Talent" in 2011. He was in "She's Dating the Gangster", "Shake Rattle & Roll 15", "Kid Kulafu", "A Second Chance", "Honor Thy Father", "Everything About Her", and "Achy Breaky Hearts". Aside from "2 Cool 2 B 4Gotten", he's in two more new movies: "Bloody Crayons", a horror movie, and "Babae Sa Septic Tank 2", a comedy starring Eugene Domingo which is an entry in the coming Metro-Manila Filmfest and where he replaces the role of JM de Guzman in the original. Cinema One Filmfest will start on November 14 at Trinoma, Gateway, Glorietta, Greenhills and Cinematheque.

Dingdong Dantes Considers Daughter Baby Zia A Lucky Charm In His Career

DINGDONG DANTES considers his daughter Baby Zia a lucky charm as he now has a hit TV show, "Alyas Robin Hood", and has a new movie with Star Cinema, "The Unmarried Wife", with Angelica Panganiban. "Super busy ako these days, laging pagod at puyat kasi lagari ako sa sets ng 'Alyas Robin Hood' and 'Unmarried Wife' na may playdate na on November 16 so paspasan ang shooting namin," he says. "But okay lang kasi medyo pahinga naman ako ng first half of 2016 at bumawi lang ngayon. Nakakasulit ng pagod yung positive feedbacks we get for 'Alyas Robin Hood' and also the high ratings na consistent talaga ang panonood ng viewers."

Because of his busy sked, he has lesser time to be with Baby Zia. "Nabawasan talaga ang oras ko sa bahay. Sakripisyo talaga. Buti na lang at very understanding ang wife ko and she knows kumakayod ako for our family. But hopefully, after the movie is shown, mas may time na ako sa kanila ng daughter namin, lalo na during the Christmas holidays na pati taping, tigil muna."

Baby Zia is turning one year old on November 23. What are their plans? "We'll have a party for her pero hindi yung engrande. Simple lang ang celebration with our immediate family. Ang importante, magkasama-sama lang as we celebrate Zia's turning one year old."

When do they intend to have a new baby? "Hindi naman kami ang magde-determine kasi gift yan mula sa Panginoon. Siya na ang bahalang magbigay. But if given the choice, mas mabuti sigurong palakihin muna nang konti si Zia so we can enjoy our time with her as a baby."

This week in "Alyas Robin Hood", there will be two hooded figures who will confuse the people. First is the real Alyas Robin Hood played by Dingdong and the other one is the Bad Robin Hood who does the exact opposite of what Dingdong does. This impersonator is Chino, played by theater-film actor Anthony Falcon ("Anino sa Likod ng Buwan"), who is ordered by Sid Lucero as Dean to destroy the good reputation of Dingdong.

The forces of evil continue to wreak havoc with Dennis Padilla as Wilson cheating the members of a cooperative by stealing their savings from a bank. One of those deceived is Jaclyn Jose as Judy, Dingdong's mom. A new character is also added, Joross Gamboa as Jojo, who steals the black pearl triad necklace from the display case in the home of Andrea Torres as Venus.

Alma Moreno Back On GMA-7 In 'Tsuperhero', Talks About The Plight Of Son Mark Anthony Who's Now In Angeles City Jail

ALMA MORENO is now back into acting after not making it as a senator in the last election. She was in Star Cinema's recent film, "The Third Party", and now in a new TV sitcom, "Tsuperhero" on GMA-7, after she appeared as a guest in a "Dear Uge" episode. She came early to the presscon of "Tsuperhero" where she plays Derrick Monasterio's mother. Early on, she asked the PR's of GMA to warn the press not to ask her anything about her son Mark Anthony Fernandez, who's still in jail in Angeles City. Right after the Q&A, she quickly left and didn't allow herself anymore to be interviewed one-on-one by the press.

In "Tsuperhero", she's reunited with former leading man Gabby Concepcion. "Nakagawa kami ng dalawang movies noong araw, 'Abigael' and 'Abandonada', kaya palagay na ang loob namin sa isa't isa. Si Gabby, hindi nagbago. Ganun pa rin ang hitsura. Natuwa naman akong magbalik sa GMA kasi marami akong friends dito. Parang nangangapa ako, ninerbiyos noong una but after a while, na-relax din ako at okay na."

Her daughter Winwyn Marquez is said to be in a serious relationship with Mark Herras. What can she say about this? "Okay naman sa'kin si Mark kasi kita ko namang seryosong mahal niya talaga ang anak ko. Pero ang payo ko sa kanila, huwag muna mag-asawa agad. I told Winwyn na mag-enjoy muna siya nang husto sa buhay dalaga. Di naman sila kailangang magmadali dahil marami pa silang puedeng ma-achieve sa respective careers nila. Mag-ipon sila nang maayos for their own future together."

Despite the warnings, she was still asked about Mark. "Pinipilit kong magpakatatag kahit gusto ko ng bumigay. I think of the Lord, na may dahilan ang lahat. Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng tumutulong, like si Lorna Tolentino na sincere sa pagtulong lalo na kapag nakikita niyang babagsak na ako. Anak din ang turing niya kay Mark."

So how is Mark now? "Siempre, hindi maganda ang sitwasyon. Hindi ganun kadali sa loob. But di ako puede magsalita so lagi na lang akong nanghihingi ng dasal para malampasan niya ito. Mabait na tao si Mark. Never yang nagbigay ng problema sa ibang tao. Hindi siya palaaway. Kung may biktima man siya, sarili lang niya, kaya sana, malampasan niya ito at magbago na siya nang lubusan."

In its pilot episode, Alisto! tells the story of an accident that took place in Sual, Pangasinan: a commuter bus lost brakes and turned upside down on the road. Casualties were recorded, but it was seven year old John Christian who suffered the most squeezed in a window.

Eyewitnesses volunteered and manually pulled John Christian from where he was squashed. But the eagerness to help only made it worse for John Christian's condition.

Alisto! also tackles the latest Modus Operandi that uses children as accomplices in thievery. Featured are women being beaten by their partners caught on CCTV cameras. What should one do upon witnessing such acts?
