Pride & Prejudice & Zombies: The Jane Austen Classic Is Given A New And Horrifying Twist
In writing this zombie novel, Grahame-Smith said he “didn't want to mess with Jane Austen's overall structure, because it's a masterpiece” so he remained faithful to the depiction of the characters. Elizabeth Bennet is the ever rational sister of Jane, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia, who speaks the truth from her heart. Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy is the moneyed and arrogant man who comes into their town and affects Elizabeth in a way that no man has ever done before.
But the big difference in Grahame-Smith’s story is that these two characters have a lot more to worry about than their verbal disputes. A mysterious plague has fallen upon their village, Meryton, as the dead are returning to life to hunt for human flesh. Now it’s up to the “sharp-tongued and fiercely independent heroine” and the “pompous and privileged zombie slayer” to join forces and rid their land of zombies. And while at it, would they dare acknowledge their feelings for each other?

Ken Chan Visits The Home For The Golden Gays Who Are All Fans Of His Hit Show, 'Destiny Rose'

This week, Ken as Destiny finds a lawyer that will help her dad Lito (Joko Diaz) to be freed from prison. This is Atty. Enrico Gallardo (Toby Alejar) whose wife turns out to be a big fan of the books that Destiny wrote. They all visit Lito to celebrate his birthday in jail. Back at the mansion, a van comes along and armed men suddenly shot Destiny, Fabio Ide as Gabriele, Jeric Gonzales as Vince, Michael de Mesa as Armani, Irma Adlawan as Bethilda and Kate Valdes as Violet. It’s good they were able to hide and escaped unscathed.

Cristine Reyes and live in partner Ali Khatibi tie the knot
Actress Cristine Reyes and live in partner MMA expert Ali Khatibi tied the knot on Wednesday morning, Jan 27 in an private ceremony at the Balesin spa in Balesin island, Quezon.
The ceremony was attended by select group of family and friends. Among the attendees are Cristine's sister Ara Mina and her best friend Cat Ilacad.
Cristine looked like a goddess in this crown of flowers in her hair and simple knee-length, off-white, sleeveless dress. Ali wore a long sleeve shirt and khaki pants.
Cristine earlier said the Balesin ceremony was really only to "legalize" our union. They are set to wed in a bigger ceremony later this year.
The two are parents to baby Amarah.
