Kangin, Sleepy, Sam Kim, & more added to 11 members of ‘Real Men 2′

Super Junior Kangin, Untouchable’s Sleepy, actors Im Won Hee & Lee Kyu Han, gagman Kim Young Chul, basketball player Kim Seung Hyun, and chef Sam Kim are also joining the member of the 2nd season of ‘Real Men’.

They will join the previously announced members Sam Ochiri, Jung Gyo Woon, and Boyfriend’s Kwangmin and Youngmin. A total of 11 members are going to join the new season of ‘Real Men’ which will air after the female special episodes.

This season’s soldiers have distinct personalities that will surely spice up the tough military life. Are you excited for this batch?

TV5 Accuses SkyCable of Intentionally Putting TV5's Feed Off Air

TV5 has filed an official complaint against SkyCable with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) for failing to air TV5’s signal for over two hours on December 13, 2014. There was also a period during this erratic airing when TV5 on SkyCable fluctuated and was interchanged with AksyonTV.

Media monitoring records from The Nielsen Company (Philippines), Inc. verified this incident in a report that said, “The TV Events team has confirmed that there was indeed a signal loss to TV5 on our Sky Cable recordings. Per standard procedure, our TV Events team used a backup recording using free-to-air sources to encode the missed airings. Total off-air time was from 14:10:20 to 16:47:55 or 2 hours, 37min and 35 seconds. This was monitored from our metro manila monitoring site.”  Furthermore, Nielsen reported that “there were 10 other free-to-air channels that we monitor that were affected by the loss of signal, but they were only off air by 7 minutes. These channels were NBN, 9TV, GNTV, ABS-CBN SPORTS+ACTION, RJTV, 9TV, IBC, ABS-CBN, GMA, and Aksyon TV.”

TV5 Head of Programming Dan de Padua stated, “On December 13, 2014, SkyCable failed to carry the TV5 signal for over two and a half hours, thus adversely affecting our channel viewership and depriving the public of an important news and entertainment source.”

TV5, through  MediaQuest Holdings, Inc.,  a media conglomerate owned by the Beneficial Trust Fund of PLDT, is a sister company of Cignal Digital TV (Cignal), one of the country’s leading cable television provider.  Cignal is the Philippine’s premier DTH satellite provider and, since its start in 2009, has been diligent in performing its functions under the guidelines set by the Cable Television Act of 2004.

The original story book for Filipino kids “Wansapanataym” is under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the group that created top-rating TV masterpieces such as “Walang Hanggan,” “Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” “Juan dela Cruz,” and “Ikaw Lamang.”

Resorts World Manila to Stage "Bituing Walang Ningning: The Musical"


Resorts World Manila (RWM), the country’s first integrated resort and entertainment hub, in cooperation with Viva Communications, Inc. (Viva), inked a landmark partnership agreement to produce a first of its kind musical production entitled "Bituing Walang Ningning" based on the blockbuster film which starred the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Cherie Gil and Christopher De Leon.

To be interpreted on stage by Mark Bautista and Cris Villonco, "Bituing Walang Ningning" is scheduled to be staged in the second quarter of 2015 at RWM’s world-class Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT).

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Spotted Together at NBA Game in Florida


Current WBO Welterweight Champ Manny Pacquiao and current WBA and WBC Welterweight holder Floyd Mayweather, Jr. were both spotted watching the Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks game at American Airlines Arena in Florida on Tuesday, January 27. 

Pacquiao and Mayweather, whose much-anticipated history-making bout is expected to happen middle of this year were seen sitting courtside across each other. 




During half-time, the two were photographed hugging, shook hands and even exchanged numbers to probably discuss further the details of their upcoming fight.

SG Wannabe’s Lee Suk Hoon to get married with ballerina Choi Sun Ah this year

SG Wanna’s Lee Suk Hoon will tie the knot with ballerina Choi Sun Ah who he has been dating for the past 4 years.

He announced about his marriage through his fan cafe on January 30th in which he wrote about how she helped nurse his mother while he was serving in the army, as well as staying by his side whenever he went through a hard time. The two of them got engaged after he was discharged from the army and are planning to get married this year.

Choi Sun Ah graduated from Korea National University of Arts and won a silver medal at Dong-a dance competition in 2007. She was also elected as one of the contestants in Seoul area for 52nd Miss Korea in 2008. She has been working as a ballet dancer at Korea National Ballet since 2010.

Lee Suk Hoon and Choi Sun Ah met each other through MBC’s match-making program ‘Love Studio’ in 2011 and have been in a relationship since then.

Meanwhile, SG Wannabe is currenly preparing for their comeback under CJ E&M sometime this year.

Reading Dingdong Dantes's Instagram post for #Fallen44 is like reading from someone expressing his desire to run in Congress


Many celebrities have expressed their condolences to the families of the fourty four members of PNP-SAF who have fallen from a fight with the rebels in Mamasapano, Maguindanao. But the post which stood out most was from just married Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes.

Reading his Instagram post is like reading it from someone expressing his desire to run in Congress come 2016. And we quote:
"I mourn with the Filipino People for the fall of our SAF personnel."

"There is no pain as excruciating as what the loved ones of our fallen Special Action Forces (SAF) in Maguindanao are now experiencing, especially when the new year just ushered in – a time when we all try to be doubly hopeful that things will be better in the days to come."

"What could have been a successful campaign against one of Southeast Asia’s most dreaded terrorists, Malaysian national Zulkifli Bin Hir, ended up as a botched military operation that terminated the lives of forty-four SAF members of the Philippine NationalPolice, two of them our Muslim brothers themselves."

"Indeed, these SAF personnel rightfully deserve to be called heroes."

"But only TRUTH and JUSTICE can provide eternal peace to their souls and heal the wounds inflicted upon us, especially to their families."
