Jolo admits feelings for Jodi

After months of speculations, Jolo Revilla finally opened up about his feelings for rumored girlfriend Jodi Sta. Maria.

“Siya ang nagpapatibok ng puso ko,” he said in an interview on  “The Buzz” last Nov. 4.

Jolo was interviewed at the Revillas’ bailiwick in Cavite, where Jodi and fellow cast members of “Be Careful With my Heart”  performed  before  a crowd.

Pressed to explain further, Jolo said that actions speak louder than words. “Siguro obvious naman,” he added.

Not yet ready

Despite his hints, Jolo doesn’t seem ready to confirm the real score.

“Ibalato niyo na lang muna sa amin iyan, sasabihin rin namin iyan pagdating ng panahon,” he said.

Jodi was non-committal about her feelings.

Her comment on Jolo’s statement that it is she who makes his heart beat faster, was  “Hindi ko alam kung ano ang isasagot ko diyan.”

Jolo’s grandfather, former senator Ramon Revilla, reportedly approves of  the relationship.
That same day, Jolo also made waves on Twitter after posting a tweet for user @jodistamaria, Jodi's official Twitter account.

Andi apologizes for mom’s statement

(UPDATE) Andi Eigenmann has issued an apology regarding her  mother Jaclyn Jose’s statement that Jake Ejercito’s parents are against her special friendship with their son.

In her Nov. 4 blog site titled “Since Chismis is Easily Spread Around, Maybe Something Sincere Would too,” Andi said:

“In behalf of my mother, I'd just like to apologize for certain things she might have said that might've put certain people in a bad light. I know for a fact that it wasn't her intention at all. Maybe at that point, she too was only being a mom. Just as your parents would want what's best for you, she just wants the same for me, and this time I'm guessing she just wanted to let others know that I deserve it too. (in her opinion that is).”

The statement came on the heels of a recent interview where Jaclyn said Jake’s parents (former president Joseph Estrada and Laarni Enriquez) disapprove of Andi for their son.

No room for anger

Andi emphasized that she is not angry at her mother and understands that she only wants the best for her. All  Andi wants is the chance to personally apologize “to show more sincerity” to the people concerned.

“I wouldn't have fallen in love with such a fine young man if not for the amazing parents he has that surely raised him well. People who brought him up to be the smart, kind hearted, humble gentleman that he is. Therefore, I know for a fact that it will be wrong for all of you to judge his parents negatively just because they only want what’s best for him. Now that I'm a mother myself, it's easier for me to see the picture for their angle. Both from my mom’s and his. I may not be as experienced as they are, Maybe I have yet to gain even half the amount of wisdom they have, but what I'm sure of is that both our parents will do anything just as long as we, the children, will never be put to harm,” Andi’s post read.

She also explained the reason for her statements:

“Normally, the Andi that learned from her mistakes would've just chosen to keep quiet and wait for things to die down. I would have chosen to leave all this up to God and trust that he’d keep Jake and I happy. But its harder when it's someone else you truly care about that gets affected. I know maybe I'll never be good enough for him in other people’s eyes. But I also know that because I do care a lot, I can prove them wrong. I'm not perfect, and I'm only human. People make mistakes. But that doesn’t mean were not allowed to learn from them and deserve forgiveness too,” she said.
Erap's reaction
Meanwhile, in an interview on TV Patrol on Monday, November 5, former president Joseph Estrada denied reports that he doesn’t like Andi for his son Jake.

“Wala naman, wala. Hindi ako nakikialam, nasa sapat na gulang na siya (Jake),” Estrada said.

He added that he doesn’t meddle with Jake's personal life and lets him decide for his future.

“Matalino iyon eh kaya hindi ko kailangang turuan. Kung iyon ang gusto, sabi ko sa kanya, your future is in your hands,” Estrada explained.

What Megan wants sister Lauren to do

Megan Young wants younger sister Lauren Young to make her own career decisions and learn things by herself.

“Independent na kaming dalawa ni Lauren. I want her to learn on her own as a young adult. She’s a young adult. Pareho kami, we had to grow up fast because we had to grow up on our own na wala ang parents namin, kaming dalawa lang,” Megan said in an interview at the press conference of ABS-CBN’s primetime drama “A Beautiful Affair.”

She’s mum about Lauren’s rumored transfer from ABS-CBN to GMA 7.

“Regarding sa work ko and sa work ni Lauren, I’m more focused on what’s happening with me. With regard to Lauren, wala naman akong update regarding that,” Megan explained.

She knows all about the issue though, but doesn’t want to speak for her sister.

“Ayaw kong mag-assume, kasi baka mamaya nagsabi ako na hindi naman pala tama. Ayaw kong pangunahan ang ibang tao pagdating sa ganoon.”

Are there ongoing talks between Lauren and GMA 7?

“Well, tignan natin. Dealings kasi niya iyon and wala naman ako doon kung siya yung nakikipagusap kung sino man or kanino man,” Lauren replied.

Bea-John Lloyd fan

Megan is part of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo’s new TV drama “A Beautiful Affair.” This is the second time that she is working with the tandem (the first was in “Betty La Fea.)”

“For me to work with John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo is a huge part of my career. And to work with them twice already, iba na iyon. Sobrang kinikilig ako kasi Basha and popoy fan ako from One More Chance. Fan talaga ako ng team-up nila,” Megan shared.

She doesn’t mind playing support even if she has experienced being a lead actress.

“I don’t think that should be something I will feel something less about myself. My acting coach always na there are no small role, just small actors. Paano kung bida ka pero hindi naman maganda yung pagportray mo ng pagkabida. May mga roles, tulad ng role ko na si Ava, pwede mo kasing i-build up iyon,” Megan said.

Jessy Mendiola Bonds With K-Pop Group

Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola was one of seven girls from different parts of the world to participate in the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS)’s “World Date with SHINee,” a contest that allowed its winners to spend a couple of days with Jonghyun and Key of the five-member K-pop idol group.

Recall that on April 2010, actress-host Bianca Gonzales was picked to participate in the first “World Date” event with actor Kim Bum.

This year’s event, according to KBS World’s official website, was filmed between Oct. 28 and Nov. 1.

A taped exclusive report aired on “The Buzz,” Sunday, detailed that Jessy and the other girls underwent makeovers by pop singer NS Yoonji and walked the runway in a mini fashion show. Then, they were transported to Gapyeong county where they met Jonghyun and Key for the first time.

Among the delegates and idols’ activities in the two-day affair were a barbecue dinner, outdoor activities that comprised of basketball and other relay games, and a trip to the Goguryeo Blacksmith Village where they did a photo shoot wearing the traditional Korean clothing called hanbok.

“Sobrang ganda [dito sa Goguryeo Blacksmith Village]. Kailangan niyong bisitahin [ito] dito sa Korea. Parang dito sila nagshu-shoot ng mga drama series nila, ‘yung mga historical period drama series nila. Kasama ko sila Jonghyun at si Key kanina, nag-pictorial kami, para kaming mga prinsesa,” Jessy eagerly shared.

A “thank you” dinner hosted by Jessy was held to cap the event, where each delegate expressed gratitude to Jonghyun and Key. In turn, Jonghyun sang for them while Key gave them a message.

In a one-on-one interview with Jessy, the two SHINee members revealed their favorite moments of the date.

Speaking in Korean, Key said, “Alam niyo, talagang nakakatuwa eh. At ‘yung pinakagusto ko ay ‘yung mga outdoor activities. At talagang marami kaming sinalihang laro. Nakakatuwa nga kasi I did jump rope together with Jessy, eh. At kahit na nasabing natalo kami, kahit papa’no po, we did our best pa rin.”

Meanwhile, Jonghyun shared, “Para sa ‘kin ‘yung barbecue party n’ung gabi ang masaya. At talagang ‘di ko makakalimutan. Kasi maraming masasayang nangyari n’un eh. At talagang marami kaming napag-kwentuhan. Naging malapit rin kami sa isa’t isa.” By wanderer || Full Story: Kapamilyalogy

Showtime Taught Karylle to Embrace Ventures with Open Mind

Unlike some celebrities who keep their auditions under wraps for fear of embarrassment if they get rejected, singer Karylle has no qualms confirming that she will be trying her luck in the revival of “Miss Saigon” in United Kingdom.

The Philippine audition for “Miss Saigon” will be held from Nov. 19 to 27 at Opera House in Makati City.

In a interview with Karylle at the opening of the latest branch of CenterStage Family KTV & Resto Bar which she co-owns, the singer said that she doesn’t want to miss out on the chance to at least try out for the musical. She also hopes people would have the same attitude in that when it comes to these things, you win some, you lose some.

Then again, Karylle has been very lucky so far. Note that her talent landed her one of the coveted lead roles in the Pan-Asian TV series “The Kitchen Musical” where she was chosen no less than by Singaporean producers.

She added that being in ABS-CBN noontime show “Showtime” has taught her that there is no harm in trying at all.

“I met so many people who are dreamers so I started to adapt their philosophy in that you have to be brave,” she said.

She has the same attitude when it comes to business. While CenterStage MOA is already the third branch, she confessed that there had been “struggles” in keeping the venture afloat, especially in the beginning.

“Pero kinaya naman. Nag-pray ako for more projects at dumating naman,” she said, pertaining to the capital needed to sustain a business while it undergoes birth pains.

The night CenterStage MOA opened, Karylle proved to be a hands-on business woman. She, along with her partners, personally entertained the guests who came to wish the business well. Karylle hopped from one table to another and engaged in small talk with people to make them feel welcome even when they had just met.

CenterStage MOA has a total of 17 party rooms and an Ultralounge. The total capacity of the venue is 400 to 450 people at a time. For more info, visitcenterstagektv.com.ph. By wanderer || Full Story: Kapamilyalogy
